  1. The next incarnation of IBProArcade is supposed to support multiplayer games. Not sure how, not sure if it's a guaranteed thing........and I may have misinterpreted what I read on the IBProArcade site.
  2. Rock on! After a 13 hour day at work, all it took was that to make it a good day. LMFAO!
  3. Yet another one of those stupid things I would expect from that site. There is no Waldo, and the face that pops up and screams is just such an over-used thing in jokes like that.
  4. Never played the game (Couldn't get into it, got bored) btw, the "honey flavoured wafers" you speak of, I believe you are thinking of what the gods themselves ate, and it's called Ambrosia. Greek mythology to be precise.
  5. Not 15 minutes later.......the site isn't working. Database troubles it seems.
  6. You're also forgetting the newest cards are available in PCI-Express flavours. There is ZERO point in grabbing an AGP variant of the newer cards, you should look at upgrading your motherboard to one that supports PCI-E if you're gonna blow the money on the latest and greatest video card. The difference between AGP 8x and PCI-E 16 is just huge.
  7. Go into your Group Policies by typing gpedit.msc into RUN on your taskbar (You won't have this in XP Home) and disable it from there (You'll need to look around, I forget what it's under). Or you can disable it under the Services listings.
  8. This thread has gone far enough for something that is no longer allowed. Methinks it's time I close it.
  9. A better idea would be to completely kill the SP2 Security Center, and use some 3rd party applications. I did, that Security Center is a pain in the @$$ and it sucks anyway. Microsoft can make people think they're making XP more secure all they want, but the fact of the matter is, it's still the same old insecure WINDOWS it was before, infact (according to some places) the "additions" and "ehancements" in SP2 make things worse, not better, for security.
  10. I only have one thing to say regarding this....... If you're a real gamer, it doesn't matter!! However, for replay value I pick the PC.....cause you can't mod console games or patch em. (Yes, there damn well are bugs in console games and you know it)
  11. On another note, be glad it wasn't an Xbox.....the father may have gotten the idea to smack the kid upside the head with it, resulting in the case going from assault, to assault with a deadly weapon, or worse murder!
  12. Man, if anything like that happened near me I'd be the first to lay a beatdown on the father. If I knew how, I'd send the kid my Playstation. I don't use the thing anymore.
  13. The same thing I did in the spring, and the winter and the fall........worked. I don't have the luxury of months of vacation like the rest of you school kiddies do. Stay in school! You'll hate not having that nice vacation time.
  14. #1 - Cinder #2 - Ember #3 - Smoke
  15. Scratch Seagate off the list, they haven't made a good drive in years besides their line of Cheetahs (SCSI) and don't listen to Gryph .........IBM makes junk hard drives, the Deskstar series is well known for it's crappiness, being prone to sudden DEATH moreso than any other manufacturer. Fujitsu makes good drives too, but they rank 3rd on my list.
  16. psst it's not mIRC dammit! mIRC is just a client, and one that sucks too. It's IRC
  17. Can't really say with the MAME one (I've never compiled MAME the way you're going about it, and I've NEVER seen that lib before.......) As for FBA, it appears you need the Direct X SDK, something I don't believe you can get for free.
  18. 23 in Canada. I live in the same igloo as K`dash, but we both own individual polar bears.
  19. What do you take us for? Idiots? Thread locked
  20. The Toronto side? Dude..........Toronto is like an hour drive from Niagara Falls lol
  21. Why didn't you come visit me!? Bastard! Nah, just kidding. I live an hour drive north of Toronto, and you wouldn't want to meet me anyway.
  22. A cabinet has nothing to do with the hardware you put in it, you can put arcade hardware in a cardboard box if you want. Both CPS and MVS run off the Jamma standard, but use AUX harness' for the extra controls. Just make sure you have the proper wiring for the hardware you put in and it's all good.
  23. All profile data is found in the x:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox folder. Just copy over the necessary files to the new profile you made.
  24. The game revolves around a convict being placed into the starring role in a Snuff film. It can be pretty sick, especially if you hold down the attack button when sneaking up on an enemy till it goes yellow, and then red. You can play T-ball with an enemies head using the bat if you get it to red. I beat it, over a month ago. Yes, it's pretty twisted, but it's just a game! And you understand it more once you've beaten it.
