  1. I'd #1 Find out what the proper resolution is for VCD #2 I know VCD has to match proper FPS for either PAL or NTSC (I forget what the exact framerates are, but I think NTSC is 27fps and PAL is 23 or 25) Personally, I'd re-encode them after finding out the correct resolution/framerate. Running em through virtualdub. I just hate burning something after being warned, and it doesn't work.......wasting CD-R's sucks. If you're on Direct Connect, visit Classic Sega - classicsega.homeunix.com and talk to Saubha or M.I.L.F (Both are OPs), they know their VCD/SVCD and they can help you out.
  2. No more wrestling games, no more wrestling games! /me curls up in a ball in the corner of the forum crying the above.
  3. I'm all for this idea. And I'll whup your @$$ at the games too! W@@T!
  4. Afterburner/Afterburner II baby! If I go into an arcade, and this game isn't there.........I walk right back out. Not that I don't play other games, but this game is a requirement for me to even give any arcade my time and money. P.S. It has to be the full cockpit, hydraulic cabinet. Not the goofy standup one (those ones suck)
  5. Seem's they have done the same thing Geocrappies and US lycos did long ago.......no off-site linking. I'll fix up the link with an on-site webpage that contains the file link. LINK FIXED!
  6. If you're like me and own a Soundblaster Live card or newer.....you can just set your recording source in any program to "What you hear" and capture whatever is going on at the time, on your PC. Soundblaster cards rule the PC gamer's sound world..........
  7. I normally don't do this........but here, I uploaded the rom to my webspace. And who say's I'm not a nice guy? FYI though I'm sure you already know this, both rom filenames must match between users.
  8. I'd sell ALL of you out for a buck or two!! Hey......don't take it personal or anything.
  9. To hard to tell when it's just a picture from a chunk of FMV and not a shot from actual gameplay. This could be from anything..........
  10. No, he wouldn't have seen it. As coming to 1emulation.com doesn't take you to the news page (Like I suggested it should......scrap the silly main page we currently have and direct the site to the news page) and I didn't see it either. I too was also a bit peeved that I had some silly orange skin when I came here today, but thankfully I was able to change it back to the IPB skin I used previously.
  11. I'm 6'2", 195 pounds (Or as Emsley puts it, 14 stone) Low body fat %, and most of me is muscle, but I'm not "ripped" to the max. I do smoke however......and it really kills my energy. I need to quit.
  12. Gee, I wonder where they are filming "Jackass" this week? In Salem perhaps?
  13. BlueCrab has released VMU Copy 1.0. It's a very simple utility to copy a VMS file from a CD-R to a VMU on a Dreamcast. Its not meant to be pretty, rather just to work. Known Issues: The file selector will only show about 19 files, so don't use more than that on one disc. All files must go in a directory called "vmufiles" on the CD. The utility does not check the files to make sure that they are VMU files. The filename on the disc is the filename that will be on the file on the VMU, exactly. The utility will overwrite any files with the same name as a file being copied, without asking. Probably much more that I'm not thinking about right now. Head over to BlueCrab's website for the download and this forum topic for a tutorial on using this app. Credits to Dr Zoidberg from DC Emulation for the news.
  14. What's new: RomCenter 2.62 Fix New: - New plugin programming interface. This will improve current snes plugin. - Display Plugin comment in 'info' column - Logiqx DatUtil version 1.26 - Show number of duplicates (ex: 'duplicates (3)') - New 'rebuild all' function. - New translation engine. You can now entirely translate romcenter and test it yourself. See download page. Fixed: - Some 'Duplicates' problems - Database node not deployed when starting rc - Horizontal autoscroll in left and right view - Wrong default path when adding rom path - Pb when using root rompath - 'Bad name' detection when using plugins - Search function now search game name and rom name. - Attempt to fix the crash on widows ME by joining the shfolder.dll (6.0.2800.1106) with the distribution. Get it here.
  15. Two video clips of the Gamecube emulator Dolphin emulating Super Mario Sunshine, have been released over at Emulation64. Take a look for yourself! Clip #1 - Mirror 1 - Mirror 2 - Mirror 3 Clip #2 - Mirror 1 - Mirror 2 - Mirror 3
  16. Do you like Ikaruga like I do? Do you suck at it like I do? (I suck at all these insane Japanese shmups, they are fun...but the amount of enemies on screen at one time is just bonkers) How about seeing some replay's of someone playing that can play the game with mad skillz? Have a look at these then.
  17. Happy birthday! But I'm still not supplying a minor!
  18. MY way? Thats how it is! There are 8 bits to a byte. And no, there is not 1000mb to a GB, there is 1024mb to a GB, 1024kb to a MB. Fool.........do some reading, somewhere.
  19. Dreamcast games Saturn games PC games N64 roms (Only incomplete set I have)
  20. Use the configurator and in the mugen.cfg change Vesa mode to something else (Or manually change it in the mugen.cfg, w/e suits your fancy) Vesa mode 1 works fine for me.
  21. In bin/cue format you can fit more than one (If they will fit) on a CD (Or a DVD you can fit quite a few), as normal files and play em in an emu. Burning multiple games on a CD and playing in a real playstation.........impossible.
  22. They've got a supposed developers disk that they've started emulation of Zelda from......... Retail Gamecube games, a PC CANNOT read the filesystem AT ALL. Screenshots and video's don't mean nuffin, have you ever heard of video overlay? Photoshop? Video editing? However I'm still not gonna scream fake yet. But there is 0 evidence this is real. (Screenshots and video.........especially fullscreen video not showing the emulator too, don't count for anything)
  23. I have a 10:1 ratio of female to male friends. I'm male myself and I have to say that too many of our gender are obnoxious, rude and annoying........and generally to stupid to carry an intellectual conversation with. I prefer the company of female friends.
  24. I'm not gonna start screaming "FAKE!" but it's too damn suspiscious that it's a fullscreen capture. Not showing us ANY of the emulator itself. I'm not ready to jump on the Gamecube emulation bandwagon yet.
  25. Might I encourage you all to do your freakin math!? 2mbps = 256kb/s This download at 800kb/s would require you to have a 6.25mbps connection. GET REAL! Your ISP is Comcast, which doesn't offer no 6.25mbps connection. The equation? bit\8=byte 800kbps I can see.......and you'd be downloading at an avg max of 100kb/s. Advertised speeds by ISP's are in BITS per second (Communications speed), actual download speeds are a measure of storage and are measured in BYTES per second. Might I add that the fastest service Comcast offers is 3.5Mbps, their "Pro" package..........at 95 dollars a month. (Check their website) This kinda miseducation and exageration REALLY cracks me up.
