After more than a year, a new version of ePSXe has been released! Look at all these new changes! - Fixed some cdrom emulation regressions and added more accurate cdrom emulation which fixed Gran Turismo 2, Dance Dance Revolution series, Gear Fighter Deboh, Hokuto no Ken and Gundam Battle Assault 2. - Made changes to cdrom emulation to make modchip detecting games work. Fixes Legend of Dragon US, Winning Eleven 2002, Um Jammer Lammy, Omega Boost JAP, Wild Arms 2nd Ignition JAP, Saga Frontier 2 JAP, Chocobo Racing JAP and possibly others. - Added support for autopause when playing CDDA sound. It should fix the problems with music in games like Tomb Raider I. - Added support for report mode when playing CDDA sound. It fixes tekken 1 music and Lemmings 3D. (if you have problems with this change it can be disabled with the commandline -disablereportmode). - Fixed some problems reading subchannel. (Harvest Moon) - Minor changes to change disc function. (Arc the lad 3) - Now the memcards are autosaved on the fly. It should solve the problem of lost memcards if the emulator crashes on gameplay. (Remember that it is a good idea to backup your memcards often) - Added gun emulation using a mouse. (Time Crisis 1, 2) - Now the mouse emulation can be selected in the second gameport, only 1 mouse is supported, so if you do enable it, it will be disabled in the first pad. - It is now possible to select analog, digital and disabled mode on every gamepad. (Thanks to everybody who helped testing it - Included multitap support. In this version only 1 multitap is supported. If you select multitap, it will support 4 gamepads, that will be connected to the first gameport of the psx. Multitap must only be enabled in games that support it, in the other games the gamepads won't work if multitap is enabled. - The keys F5 and F6 have a new function. F6 is used for select a pad, and F5 will toggles digital/analog mode on the selected pad. (you need upgrade your gpu plugins to 1.73 or superior) - The dos window that shows the info messages can be enabled/disabled from the GUI. - Included support for CDI isos. (Discjuggler format) - Fixes to the CD-Rom decoder and the core which made some more games playable. For example, Spyro 2 PAL, Spyro 3 PAL, Front Mission 3, Batman Gothan City Racer, Duke Nukem: Land of babes, Ridge Racer JAP, Nekketsu Oyako, Bust a Grove 2 JAP and others. Schaweet! Get it Here! P.S. Don't forget to grab all the updated versions of any plugins you use. With the huge gap between releases of the emu, even I stoped paying attention to plugin updates.

What happened while I was gone?!?!?
ken_cinder replied to SgtSarros's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Site has added quite a bit. (loay rulez with all the Direct Downloads he just put up for Megaman ISO's and other things!) We have a Direct Connect hub. Mame.dk is NOT dead despite the fact it appears that way (Again) Metropolitglobal is always on the up and down like a see-saw. You still use Bearshare? Eww (Get on Direct Connect, I've got 35GB of roms you should take a peak at) Other than that, you didn't miss much. Good to see you back around again. -
Oh well if it's not what you are looking for thats fine. Look up Rumen though, it emits those gases (Read my previous post a bit better)
-
Ok I know it then! It's gotta be Rumen bacteria. (Why I thought Aeomba I dunno, I think I misread the question the first time around, cause the only thing they emit is CO2) Rumen bacteria is found in manure, and it's responsible for those gases being present.
-
Main question: Those types of white blood cells are known as "Phagocytes" (Not sure on the spelling) Bonus question #1: I'm not sure, but is it an Aeomeba?
-
SF2 Turbo/Fatal Fury, everything from there on has been nothing but cheese with added cheap moves/combos.
-
I've been playing Planetside alot lately. I'd like to get into the action for real. High tech warfare across an entire planet! edit: nm I got sick of this game pretty damn fast. It's horribly unbalanced and there is next to no organization, and not really anything beyond basic goals in it.

Stairs. I prefer to walk anywhere I can because I almost lost the use of my legs in 2000 in an accident where I used to work.

2D fighters are "dumb buttons smashing games", 3d fighters require a bit more skill in "navigating" the play field and general execution of moves in a 3D environment. IMO 2D fighting games since SF2 haven't really introduced ANYTHING new (KOF 2002? WTF has it done that is really new besides adding MORE cheap moves/combos?) I'm sick of VS fighters myself, they are all the same and for the "braindead" gamers that play them all the time. Fun to play now and then, but when thats all you play.........you most likely can't play any other kind of game worth a poop. "Wow! Look at me, I can pull off a 500 bajillion hit combo by mashing all the buttons." or "Wow! Look at me, I can pull off a 500 bajillion hit combo cause this is the only game I play and I've memorized EVERY button combination" VS Fighters require a good memory, not skill.

Don't know the main question but I know the bonus one, the medicine one. There is no "antidote" for Ativan, Ativan is a sedative mainly used in treating epilepsy and also know as LORAZEPAM. Romazicon AKA. flumazenil, is another sedative that works in slightly different ways, kind of like Diazepam which slows the nervous system.

I should get the point! someboddy spelt it wrong...... It's the "Zloty" hehe P.S. put me on DCL's team.
-
Ahem! that would be the "Super Gameboy", I have one, and it doesn't make every game color. It adds color to monochrome games, but on an 8 color scale (I prefer to just leave em the original color, the crappy color given to games one knows as monochrome makes the game look pathetic). As for which one is better? The SNES of course. It has a larger screen, better graphics capabilities in it's hardware and better games. The GBA doesn't look so hot off it's tiny little screen on a TV OR emulated fullscreen even with 2xSAI filtering. And 99% of it's good titles are re-hashed from SNES titles, which IMO they don't even count. P.S. You are comparing apples and oranges. Seems someone doesn't know his Nintendo hardware very well to have not known it's name.

Guess the Game Thread Version 1.3
ken_cinder replied to DreamCastLover's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I think nobody has a clue in the slightest. (And it looks like the most boring game ever too) Throw a new pic up. -
I don't like soap, and for that matter I don't like showers either. Thats why I don't use either. j/k I prefer Irish Spring bar soap and I DO shower daily. btw WTF kinda wacked thread is this?

You also forget the FX sounds like a god damn vaccuum cleaner. (Better yet, a Jumbo Jet) It costs too much, and the Radeon 9800 Pro DOES outperform it. Psst the shadowing in Splinter Cell is done with vertex and per pixel shading, something the Radeon cards have always done better than the GeForce's (The Radeon 8500 introduced pixel shading). My two cents. (As you can see, I lean more to ATi for enough reasons to satisfy me) Oh and ATi's cards can make use of a 24bit Zbuffer (Something even the GeForce cards are said not to be able to do, and I think I heard mention of the FX doing it poorly) A 24bit Z buffer gives a tradeoff between quality and performance and is better than a 16 bit Z buffer but not as good as a 32 bit (The diff in quality isn't all that noticeable, but the performance can be charted easily)

Yeah moving sucks. I've moved about the same amount of times as you in the last 10 years or so. I love where I'm living now though. Just on the outskirts of town, close enough to walk in. Shenmue/Shenmue II..........I keep hearing this game is so the rage. Why? I've seen screenshots and it doesn't look like anything special. Guess I'll have to download it and try it myself.

First ever rom I played was Super Metroid on Zsnes quite some time ago. I had traded off my Super Mario World/Super Metroid carts in exchange for a copy of Mechwarrior 4. As for Genecyst and Netsicle, I can run em on a 486. They are horribly innacurate and skip certain routines a real NES performs. Thus allow allowing it to run on slower machines. I suppose great when you have such a PC, I have used the emu's myself and they do a good job of simply lettting you play.

tattoos - I don't need to see them on a female
ken_cinder replied to nicknicknickandnick's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I agree with xiphoid, my girlfriend has a tattoo on her lower back, around her upper arm and one near the inside of her wrist. They look fine, it's her body and it doesn't change the way I feel about her when I look at them. I don't have any ink done myself either. Judging someone based on something like this will certainly make you look shallow, and totally keep you from meeting someone that may be a really nice person. -
One could write an emu in any language they want. But you better have a good knowledge of the language, the hardware you are trying to emulate.........and some good documentation of how it works. Sega Saturn doesn't have roms.........has disk images. Direct connect would be your best bet. This forum's hub is a good place to start.

Radiant Silvergun Burning Rangers Panzer Dragoon Panzer Dragoon II Zwei Panzer Dragoon Saga Daytona USA Virtual On Fighter's Megamix Dead or Alive Sega Rally Championship There are others, but I think that should do for now.

Some broadband ADSL users I've seen are given 26mbps from their ISP's. T1 is faster.....T3 is faster. And hell OC connections smoke up into the GBps (OC48 is something like 5GBps I believe) Internet speeds play no role in emulation, 56kers download huge files too (The ones that have the patience and ability to) Emulation of hardware depends only on the availablility of documentation and the drive of people to make it happen. With good optimization of code and hardware acceleration, there is nothing out there ATM that couldn't be emulated full speed on a PC. (The reason Mame needs such killer processing speed for some newer stuff, is because it's 100% software based........which sux)

**Move this thread to handheld emulation please**

Doom 2 will be cool, but it IS just a rehash of an old title with nice new spiffy graphics. It better offer something new to the FPS genre, or I'll just toss it aside in the "Boring. Same crap" pile. As for Half Life 2, if HL was any indication, this game will suck. Because IMO, HL sucked. (Wish I never bought it) I still dont see why everyone thought/still thinks that game is so good.

i have a kind of dumb question about programs
ken_cinder replied to nyknum1's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
