  1. http://sovietrussia.org/f/src/tetoris.swf Have fun!
  2. You'll be hard pressed to find one anywhere but Ebay these days, mine is almost 2 years old now. You can find better now for what I paid then.
  3. unfortunately, saturn isnt possible as you probably know (dual processors and such...) though i would love to see that as well... as for a net browser there is one in aideluxe, or you can use linux to run firefox. and for defragging, most likely not possible unless done through linux. my friend and i tried to port an open source defrag to the xbox filesystem, but the xdk does not have, afaik, the os methods needed to run it (someone correct me if you have found a way...) Dual? Sure, if you only count the main CPUs. There's twin VDPs as well as dedicated sound processors, it's a rather complex machine. That aside, Yabuse has been ported to Dreamcast. ANYTHING is possible, but playable is where you touch on the impossible. Yabuse for DC will never be playable, and a port to Xbox would be the same. As for Dreamcast on Saturn, a proof of concept would be hard enough on it's own. With only 64MB of RAM on the Xbox, and requiring 26MB alone to "1:1" on the Dreamcast combined RAM size, you're not left with much to use for your actual emulation of the machines hardware. All of this is beyond anyone without the knowledge and capability, so I oft get sick of seeing people ask something that is at the very least, obviously difficult. Why ask, it makes you look silly.
  4. EEE.......STAY AWAY! Honestly, these things are no good for more than the average user browsing or checking email. They aren't bad, but they're certainly not something you would want. They're even overpriced for what they do. Go to Staples, or get on their website, they often have good ones on closeout/clearance. Same with Radio Shack. Both are NOT the best place to shop for one at normal prices, but you can't beat their closeout/clearance prices.
  5. I think you should make an appointment to see a Proctologist.
  6. I think you're on some cheap drugs, but ok...... Vista = Resource hog, bloated more than any other iteration of Windows and just plain a PITA to work with if you want to "get under the hood" OSX.......don't get me started on this paid for, bastardized proprietary *nix flavor that not only oversimplifies everything, but somehow manages to make it complicated at the same time. I think Windows sucks, but we're stuck with it because of the masses and software devlopers (Namely game developers). XP is the best iteration of Windows thus far. If it wasn't for gaming, pick your favorite flavor of Linux and everything else can rot for all I care.
  7. Oh FYI Mr, Diso who is locked inside his bubble, DST doesn't just apply to the US. LULZ.
  8. Primarily it's the person who moved away/used bogus address, that's to blame, not the PO. What makes you think writing something any bigger is going to make it any more important/effective? Who is to say that AE doesn't just dismiss these letters anyway? I mean, they would be pretty foolish to remove someone just because they get a returned letter that says 'no longer at this address'. All you need to do is either make a phone call or pick up a cheap envelope/stamp and write a letter to AE. I get mail from the past 3 previous tenants here and have done the same, but to no avail. Unless they actually receive contact from the person themselves it's entirely likely you will continue to get their mail. May work that way where you live, but the post office here is supposed to stop delivering mail for other people when you tell them to here. If I write "Not at this address" on 6 pieces of mail for the same person, and they keep delivering that persons mail to MY HOUSE that I OWN, I have a right to complain. Hell it's even in their own policies to do just that, they just can't follow their own guidelines.
  9. My post office is the same, lazy as $hit. No matter how big and bright I write "Not at this address" I still get mail at least 3 days a week for people who don't live here anymore, including the guy I bought this house from! I'd call American Express and tell them, it's not their fault, it's the Post Office not doing their job.
  10. Fat chance on that logic, a hard drive generates far more heat than a DVD drive. Neither one is or can be responsible for failures of the RROD kind.
  11. Mine is a Jasper, but I've only had it a couple weeks now I think, and barely played it. My brother in law has a launch system that is still running to this day, and it runs noticeably hotter and noisier than mine. We don't cram our systems inside cramped cabinets and entertainment centers though.........
  12. So when is SFIV 56th Strike and a half coming out?
  13. I realized it probably won't work. While in theory it would, there is no access to 3D acceleration under Xbox Linux, and FP needs it as far as I know. It also requires shader support of some kind, not sure if Xbox Linux supports that in any form either.
  14. VP\PinMAME isn't an easy thing to get going well. Besides, it's highly outdated. I suggest you give Future Pinball a try, easier to get going and much more realistic looking and still being updated. http://www.futurepinball.com/ As for our rules Agozer, there's nothing regarding Pin tables that breaks our rules. These tables are recreated by individuals and are not for sale, which makes them 100% legal. Only the electronics ROMs fall under those rules, and pretty much every company except Stern is ok with the ROMs being out there.
  15. Let me point out that while "Your internet connection is not as fast as G anyway", that WiFi speeds are entirely theoretical and only look so nice on paper. I can't get the full 54Mbps out of G sitting right beside my router, and nobody can unless they were inside a room with the walls coated in aluminum. With that said, Wireless N is a waste of money, G get's the job done fine. The only thing that sucks with A-G is trying to transfer large files between computers. Like moving 30GB of stuff from my laptop to my desktop upstairs, I started doing it and said "F**K THIS!" and took the laptop upstairs and plugged it right into the desktop. Wireless N isn't going to do much better in this situation either.
  16. I've had some form of a stomach virus for over a week now, I won't enlighten you with details. I rarely get sick, but whatever this is, it just won't go away. I don't really feel sick though, a bit run down and tired, plus the usual effects of a stomach virus.
  17. Methinks you guys need to have a closer look at the pictures. The artwork is pooched. I need to fix the bottom right corner of the cab with bondo, paint and put new T-Moulding on. Yeah otherwise it's in ok shape. The TMNT came from a school teacher, who has his games in his classroom. It's overall not in bad shape for a 20 year old game, but the artwork has got to go! The Magic Worm is as old as I am, and in better shape than me! Most of what doesn't look good on it, is dirt!
  18. The Magic Worm is apparantly on the "Extremely Rare" list. If you check KLOV, the cabinet pictured is the very same cabinet I now own. Nobody in the collectors end of things has ever seen one besides the guys in my area. It's dedicated (As far as I'm concerned, all internals and parts have their name on it, as does the rear door), and made by Sidam, the makers of this Italian Centipede bootleg. This is one of only 5 games they ever made, as they were sued for copyright infringement by Atari I believe, and put out of business. Rare however is very subjective, and doesn't mean this game is worth much. Hell it was only worth $50 to the guy that gave it to me for delivering his pinball machine, which was total convenience as the TMNT was my priority in the same city.
  19. Picked these 2 machines up today, I had originally intended for Thursday but it didn't work out. Magic Worm was actually free, as I brought the previous owner a Scorpion Pinball he had bought out my way, and the vid was payment for bringing it out to him. TMNT needs art all around, and some patchwork, but otherwise works great. (Bezel is missing because I didn't put it back in yet) Think I need to take the joys and buttons out and clean all the leaf switches etc though, sticks are a bit on the stiff side and the leafs can be finicky at times. Need some bucks for this expensive art (Screened sideart alone is $190 USD), or a cheaper source, and warmer weather to come sooner! The Magic Worm really does "Need a fuse", as a 2.5A/250V on the power supply for the PCB is blown. Seller runs a tattoo shop where had had a good 10 pins and a couple vids lined on the walls, some nice machines. Had this up in the front window for awhile, I'm guessing nobody bit. Cab is really nice (And really goddamn heavy! The TMNT weighs less!), just needs some cleanup, touchup to the art and a crack under the CP repaired. Is the stuff you see in the pics of the Magic Worm for another game, anyone? I think this is a dedicated cab for this, everything on it (Coin Door, all internals, back door stamped) is Siddam parts, who is the maker of this Centipede Bootleg......but hell if I know. Now to go ice my back or something, I'm sore from the 3 hour drive each way, sitting on my ass more than anything.
  20. I think I have something to try out! http://fprelease.free.fr/fpwine/ Not so sure it will work though, Xbox is rather limited for RAM.....but I'll see how it fares anyway. I plan on building a virtual pinball cabinet using Future Pinball and Visual Pinball in the future. Similar to Ultrapin/Hyperpin as previously mentioned. Only mine won't be costing no $5000......
  21. It still doesn't emulate tables, it only emulates the electronics.
  22. Visual Pinball\PinMame - Be nice to sit infront of the TV and run this. Won't happen though because VP isn't open source.
