Unofficially the 3rd in a series from these two. The first being Soul Blazer, and the second Illusion of Gaia. All 3 of these games share common elements, cameos/names and other things. I've never played any of them, other than Illusion of Gaia for a short period. I think I'll put all 3 on my list of "To play" though, ty.

Have you read the Long Halloween? No, but I'm aware of what it is......a horrible spin-off akin to Marvel's alternate timeline crap. I have read the originals, and this sounds like it doesn't fit. Mind you comic creators seem to be able to do whatever they want even if it doesn't make sense (see; Marvel) with regards to character timelines and location.

I really have to see this, the comments are confusing the hell out of me. I've read the comics, I've seen the other movies.....how the hell can the Joker and Two Face be in the same movie/timeframe?

http://gnomad2.sourceforge.net/ I don't think any of the "best" media players for Linux, will give you the same syncing features found on Windows. But you could try them. I prefer mplayer.

It would be good if you're like me, and you won't start playing another game (If it's good) until you finish the one you started. I hate playing a game over the course of weeks, and waiting for the damn thing to load every time I start my console up.

I've never gotten any homebrew to work on no$GBA that requires filesystem access. This might be the problem.

I had subscriptions to PC Gamer, EGM and Nintendo Power at certain points years ago. I haven't purchased a magazine of any kind in a good 8 years probably.

That's true. But couldn't they make a homebrew app that loaded the PS2 in PS1 mode to play backups off HD? If both the Wii and PS2 can emulate its predecessors perfectly, then it definitely has components from either of the older consoles (GameCube and PS1). No, access to the PS1 hardware doesn't exist in PS2 mode. The PS2 doesn't even know the PS1 hardware exists. To put it another way, it's the same as the DS. In GBA mode, the DS slot, ARM9 etc doesn't exist.....period.

I don't know how the PSOne's work with regards to the lid switch etc, but I'd imagine you would do the same thing. It's the same as on the Saturn. You tape the lid switch down (Or put something in there to hold it down) and load a retail game. At a precise point (You can HEAR the drive motor spin down) just before the SCEA logo shows, you quickly grab the retail disc, and exchange it with your backup. It's been years since I've done it, it's more involved than that, you require Google.

PS1 hardware is seperate from PS2 hardware. It's EXACTLY the same principle as the Wii, you can't load GC games in Wii mode from what I am aware.

No, the Challenge of Atlus is one of the challenges in Pandora's Ring as far as I remember. Wouldn't a save at the end of the game, present the opportunity to load from anywhere else in the game? You'd otherwise need like an entire 8MB card to store individual saves for each point wouldn't you?

I can tell you right now, if he is from the US, he's using a proxy located on an Australian ISPs network. I went digging to see if he was indeed GC like some suggested, he is not. (Unless he's, again, using a proxy) And BK, there are a few different procedures for a vasectomy. 1 type, I am fully aware of (I looked into it) is totally reversible and has very low rate for failure upon reversal. It also has a risk of the procedure reversing itself. btw, I thought I'd mention I installed this again, and the latest patch does NOT disable CD check. The game still asks for the play disc on a full install. Edit: This requires reading the patch note (Wow, didn't know there was one till I dug in the install dir) which then tells you to manually copy over any mpq files that still remain on the play disc.

Quite frankly I found the entire game to be pathetic, FEAR was highly overhyped. The multiplayer offers nothing new and is VERY boring too.

I highly doubt you'll find anyone telling you to use Vista, Vista sucks and EVERYONE knows it.....hence such a quick announcement about Windows 7. No OEM wants to continue using Vista. Vista HAS failed.

Theres an unofficial server set somewhere, you change your HOSTS file so the game doesn't connect to Battle.net, but this other place. I just read about it a couple days ago, but I can't remember where or what this master server address is.

3DO Road Rash on my Xbox? Awesome....... There aren't many great games for it, but a few multi platform releases, they are the better. If you discount arcade emulators, there are things like SSFII that are better on no other console. I can't see the Xbox handling 3DO well though, you need a decent PC to run 3DO games playable. Not anything extreme, but certainly more than a 700mhz Celeron with 64MB of RAM.
