First one, listed as 150 watt on Newegg, but 300 on MFG site. I'm going PEAK on either wattage regardless, they're FAR too cheap for that to be RMS. I OWN Logitech X-530s and that 70 watts is RMS, NOT Peak. They're loud enough for a PC, I don't get buying 500+ RMS speakers for your computer, sheer stupidity. The X-540s are pretty much the 530s in a different package, BUT they come with a remote. The 530s do not. Get the 540s. I wish I had, not having even a wired remote is a bit annoying.

Screw that! Ebay! PQI cards, good stuff and cheap. Also, someone please give me a 8 hour posting suspension. I'm super drunk and I made over 20 typos I had to correct before submitting this post. Amongst those, many foul words.

I own real thing, this is not a game bug, at least in a proper rip/burn. -
Blu-ray Profile 2.0 Update Coming to PS3 this Month

Game consoles DO NOT have a 10 year life cycle, when will MS and Sony stop stating this? Just because you're still selling your last gen console, when the new one is out, doesn't mean it's still running it's life cycle. The life cycle of a console is more realistically 6 years. Consoles sell so well at the end of their life cycle and beyond, because they're usually dirt cheap compared to when they came out. I refuse to pay more than $200 for a console, EVER. Thank you to the beta testers and price drop creators out there, I love you all. And I don't know why Sony seems to think the PS3 will push sales of Blu-Ray movies. MOST owners of the PS3 couldn't give a rats ass about Blu-Ray movie playback. Sure, a large percentage may buy a movie or two, but standalone players do a much better job. Just like the PS2's DVD playback, the PS3's Blu-Ray playback is inferior to a standalone unit. -
I'm pretty sure Jitway and Gamecop are the only ones on my MSN, which I rarely use to begin with. Actually I'm not sure Gamecop is on my MSN, but he's on AIM.

From the pics, it's easy to see where you spend most of your time. It's the same here, everywhere is neat and tidy.....except for the area around my desk.

Ahem, there isn't a single mention of "Pocket PC" on DWEdit's site, and I would have thought that being in a "GBA Stuff" subforum would have given that away.
-
Yes Robert, that is NOT the PocketPC PocketNES. That is the GBA emulator.

Ignore these wierdos. Not many games run in 720p, and I don't know of any that run in 1080i. Almost all games do 480p. For reference, you CANNOT force a game that isn't capable of doing 720p, to do 720p or 1080i for that matter. You can however force 480p. You'll need an MS HD Kit or a set of component cables for 480p or better. Save your money, cause you won't be able to give it to anyone but a liar or a cheat. We don't have those here, now do we people!

Hardware mofo coming to you. No such thing as X2 (Is X+, I know...I'm being picky, but X+ is just upgraded X hardware). This is running on standard X fare. Thank you, come again!

The whole SDHC thing is totally stupid anyway. An 8GB card will set you back far more than 4x2GB cards will. Don't gimme the whole physical space issue or the need to carry around 3-4 cards, they're tiny! Put em in your pocket/backpack whatever. I have yet to see one come without one of those little plastic cases. First site I picked up (For point of reference only) an 8GB MicroSDHC with a USB reader = £29.99 or 4GB with same reader for £12.99. The gap is much larger in retail, and slightly larger for Ebay. Non HC cards can be had for almost nothing now, under $10 for a 2GB card. I paid like $17.99 for 2x2GB.

I got my R4 through them. Probably one of the cheapest places too. Shipping was a tad slow, but apparantly at the time they had some site issues and a database crash. I still got my stuff, and it didn't take TOO long. Use the code GBATEMP too when you order, for a discount. They appear to be out of stock right now though. Notice the "Pre-order", as is Divineo.

I'd put my money on it being a clone, as for supporting SDHC cards....no idea. Theres been zero announcements from the R4 team regarding any new version or SDHC support, and from other reports the R4 manufacturing plant has been shut down (However restarted elsewhere). That site you linked to is obviously bogus, and is an identical clone of the real R4 site save for the fact it uses ASP where the real site, does not. I'd bet on that obvious clone, not supporting SDHC. But it could. You're still getting an inferior clone that will probably have issues. Then again, you may not. Just cause it's a clone, doesn't mean it WILL suck. I can't say here.......you could wind up worse or better off.

SCAM. Theres no need to use FAT32 unless you are indeed using an SDHC card larger than 4GB (Infact it's slower than FAT). Not to mention "Encrypted" Firmware you MUST install from the CD? The firmware is nothing more than a zip/rar you unpack onto the microsd card, and you shouldn't bother using the firmware on the CD it's outdated. Sounds like a clone to me. R4DSL.net - http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=r4dsl&tld=net R4DS.com - http://www.whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=r4ds&tld=com Those don't match, and R4DSL domain was only created @ 2008-02-28 02:50:48 SCAM SCAM SCAM

Did not read article, OLD.......first put on Youtube. He DID get the Xbox. They caught him snooping, so they played this prank on him and gave him the Xbox later. Stamped SUPER OLD
-
I've heard no such thing for support of SDHC, and the faq on the R4 site mentions no such thing. http://www.r4ds.com/product-en.htm#a4 There is also no mention on the site of any V3. There is tons of blabbing on GBATemp about it, but nothing otherwise and the posts are seriously OLD.

How'd you manage 98/2k windows appearance then? From turning Visual Effects off I presume? When you said you "re-installed" it, I assume it was already installed on this Windows installation? I'd suggest uninstalling it, deleting the VDMSound folder and going through your registry with REGEDIT looking for any entries that pertain to VDMSound. Then reinstall.
-
Shouldn't, I can even click on an EXE in a mounted image and get the context menu item. So you can use it on an EXE located anywhere. I'm clueless as to why it's missing for you. What OS are you running? Judging by that error you first put up, I'd say 98 or 2k. If 98, VDMSound won't work for you, and isn't necessary.
-
Just installed it again myself, you sure it's not there? You should have an entry for "Run with VDMS" on any EXE you right click. If not, I'd reboot and check again, if still not there reinstall VDMSound. Also you MUST be right clicking on the EXE, not a shortcut. The context is tied to EXE files only. Shortcuts are .lnk

Uh and why would you not take this up with the owners, or the bouncers? WTF?
-
Of course driver updates are free, so is VDMSound. I'm pretty sure VDMSound can be found on Sourceforge. And if it's Win95, it's quite possible that it's command line based but tied to the Windows subsystem, I'd give VDMSound a try first for sure.
-
Invalid buffer pointer.....hmm Update soundcard drivers (If they are, using an older version MAY be a solution) Check hardware acceleration level is at full (If it is, you may need to try lowering it with an old game) I would imagine this is a Windows based app given the windows based error? If it isn't however, you might want to give VDMSound a try.
