Is your phone missing or stolen? If this is the case, not a chance. If you've locked yourself out, there is ALWAYS a recovery method. You should Google, or take your phone to your provider/retailer.

SCART RGB Arcade Supergun For Sale
ken_cinder replied to ken_cinder's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Any board that follows the JAMMA standard. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JAMMA That is 2 joysticks and 3 buttons per player + start buttons. This supergun conforms to just that, but there is no reason you couldn't take the ICs out for the Genesis/Megadrive pads and solder wires to the JAMMA connector PLUS use an AUX harness, for something like say a CPS2 system for 2 controllers with 6 buttons each, or hook up a Neo Geo board in the same manner. As you can see in the picture on the Vogatek site, the solder pads are quite large, the aforementioned is VERY simple. -
SCART RGB Arcade Supergun For Sale
ken_cinder replied to ken_cinder's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
No takers yet? Someone here must be looking for a cheap Supergun. -
Ok, so for the time being until we look at getting a BST forum rolling, sales posts are frowned upon here. Simply because of the chaotic nature of allowing them without a proper place for all of them. But I ran into an issue lately. While going through my "Stockpile" I realized I STILL have my SCART RGB Supergun I bought awhile ago. I can use this, if I alter some pinouts. But I made a JAMMA > VGA cable. I also don't need and don't have that cable anymore, cause I bought a nice Versus City cabinet. Dillema. What to do with Supergun I really have no use for, that nobody local to me would either have a clue what to do with it or how to make it work? What to do with this thing that I have made use of in my own butchering ways (Bear in mind, it's still perfectly functional, we'll get to that later) that I would NOT want to diss the maker and seller that helped me so much, by putting it on public display somewhere like Ebay? Sell it to a wanting 1emulation member, that's what. Cheap, real cheap considering I paid over $70 when all was said and done. Yours, for $20. Here's the specs and requirements. SCART RGB output - You need a TV with SCART RGB support. There is NO way around this unless you're tech savvy, and sorry I'm not altering it for you as it's an as-needed alteration depending on your hardware. 2 ports for pads like Megadrive pads - You CAN do what I did, and take the ICs out for these and wire some real arcade controls. This is why the solder pads are a little roughed up on this thing, again functionally intact. 3.5mm speaker jack - You need PASSIVE speakers. Amplified speakers WILL get blown the f**k up, arcade boards are already amped. Not an issue, just use speakers WITHOUT an amp. Coin button onboard - Wire your own like controls if you wish, otherwise just push the nice little green button. ATX Power Supply - Plug the ATX connector in, and go. It's that simple. More details on http://www.vogatek.com So there you have it. I have ZERO use for this thing, and I want one of the members here to be able to have a cheap supergun. For $20, by Paypal, Email Money Transfer or (International)Money Order it's yours. This is a one-off thread, simply based on circumstances and relativity. Please don't go making your own, be patient and wait for our BST forum.

I still say you should have changed it to MR PINK, but we'll leave that where it belongs in IRC.

AMD moves cautiously into the 45 nm era
ken_cinder replied to Jitway's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
I was always an Intel freak, till the 64's came out, and I now also own a machine with a Core 2 Duo. Intel is NOT kicking AMD's ass, their prices are a f**king joke and equally matched (If you want to call it that) processors are heavier hitters on AMDs part. The better buy is from AMD, and there is ZERO doubt about that. Both machines I have, sport closely spec'd processors, my Athlon X2 kicks the living crap out my Core 2 Duo. -
The game Agozer posted a screenie for, is called OZ

RIAA Keeps Settlement Money, Artists May Sue
ken_cinder replied to Jitway's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Someone should be forcing them to return that money to who they took it from in the first place, even those big three named. Then they should sue them for invasion of privacy, amongst many other things. They really have no legal leg to stand on in 90% of the cases where they sue anyone, but people will just lie down and take a beating. I'd LOVE to see them come after me, I'd just f**king love it. I'd make a damn mockery of them. -
My DS Lite is not charging nor LED lits for charging indicator.
ken_cinder replied to reynan's topic in DS Hacks [/ds]
What country are you located in? Here in Canada there is a minimum of a one year manufacturers warranty on electronic devices and a retailer MUST accept a return. I'd check the laws where you are, and if something similar applies and you are still within the timeframe, DEMAND the retailer exchange it or you will contact the authorities. Don't put up with crap from retailers EVER. -
I think the whole point of this, is alot of ISPs advertise "Unlimited" packages, and they go capping certain protocols and ports. When you advertise "unlimited" it is UNLIMITED. Restricting bandwidth is thus a violation of the contract they made, and I would sue. My ISP has a 60GB a month cap, but this does not apply to HTTP/POP+SMTP traffic. If I went over my 60GB cap, I could only use services on those respective protocols. Not a big deal, I don't think I've ever done 60GB in a month, but I have downloaded 20GB in a day before. I don't download something large every day.

Electronic Arts offers $2B for Take-Two

Ubisoft is one, the other I have no idea. Was not aware of a third. -
This ISP has been rated 'G' by the state of Utah
ken_cinder replied to Jitway's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Yep, that's always baffled me. Multiple wives allowed, but no porn or anything else that is seen as sinful. Yeah, and like having 10 "Mommies" won't screw your kids up, no way man! -
Not true in all cases Madman. My Asus M2R32-MVP can use the new AMD Phenom CPUs. With a bios update, most AM2 platforms can use AM2+ Phenom CPUs.

1. Do I need firewire? - Not unless you have something that uses it. Firewire is now defunct. 2. A DVD burner with Blueray. Does this prevent playing of other DVDs? - Nope, and I don't recommend buying into Bluray PC drives right now. Just stick with a regular DVD burner. 3. Is 7200 rpm SATA II OK? - Perfectly fine, and contrary to what Gamecop said, is the standard. SATA 3 drives are brand new market, and are costly in comparison, not to mention useless. No computer can make full use of SATA II bandwidth yet 4. CPU and motherboard: Intel-E4500 Core 2 Duo. Will this cope with future developments, programs? - If you're wanting to stay a little more futureproof, go with an E6550 or if money isn't a huge concern and you really want to futureproof, an E8000. I can't recommend a motherboard, I'm an Athlon 64 kind guy. 5. Sound: On board, or not? - Unless you're a serious audiophile, onboard 5.1 or better is just fine 6. Windows XP or Vista Premium? - XP Pro! Stay away from Vista, I don't need to add to Gamecop's input, just stay away. 7. Ram: More than 2 GB? Is DDR2-800 PC6400 OK? - 2GB at least, can't hurt to throw a full 4GB in there though as the stuff isn't really expensive. I recommend A-Data DDR2 PC6400. Lifetime warranty. Any more than 4GB will require a 64bit OS, and you won't see the full 4GB under a 32bit OS, less of it with more expansion hardware present. 8. Modem, if Broadband: Single port ADSL? - Uh, stumped here. We're provided with our modems by our ISPs here 9. DVD drives: Presently have 1 DVD player + 1 DVD burner. 1 drive seems norm now. Should I have both? - Unless you're backing up discs regularly, 1 drive will suffice, with making image files when you need to copy a disc

My Videos Explaing How Mame Works
ken_cinder replied to MK3Fan's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
I went with the ArcadeVGA because at the time, it was the only card I knew of that would work for the application I needed. I was new to the game and just wanted the best for the money. Everywhere I went, people only talked about the ArcadeVGA card, so that's what I got. Granted, this was a little over two years ago, so the stuff that's out now might be better. The upside to using the ArcadeVGA is that it outputs the original game resolution of whatever game you are playing. A standard card doesn't do that. That was another selling point in my mind. Good point, I'm somewhat limited in the resolutions I can use with 15khz on my normal card. I'm not a perfectionist enough to want that anyway though. I PREFER filtering and smoothing on my games, even if I was used to the original look, I like the look of them more. If you're wanting that though, ArcadeVGA is an obvious must. -

ken_cinder replied to MK3Fan's topic in Arcade Emulators [/pc/arcade]
Nice, but I'm rather surprised with all the work you put in, that you forked over the money for an ArcadeVGA. Pretty much any video card you can buy from within the last 5 years, is guaranteed to be able to output 15khz with no problem. Then you also have yourself a cab with a card more than capable of 3D horsepower than the crappy 9250/X550 chipsets. It's what I'm doing with my Versus City. -
*Looks around suspiciously* I once returned an Xbox that had been damaged by a botched mod attempt, for a brand new one.

Microsoft email prepares workers for Yahoo takeover
ken_cinder replied to Jitway's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
Sorry to burst your bubble Davis, but MS buying Yahoo won't make a dent in Google's market. I REALLY don't see why MS would have even offered such a ridiculous amount of money to them in the first place, and for Yahoo to shoot it down saying they feel it undervalues them is even worse. Microsoft had offered something like near double share value, and for them to shoot down the offer in such a hostile manner just begs for a hostile takeover in return. What those of you don't understand that are complaining (And I don't mean just here, I've read about this elsewhere), is practices like this are commonplace, and I will bet you large sums of money that at least ONE company you know and "respect" has undertaken this practice before. Business is business, get over it. -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface No, DVI DOES NOT carry audio. Only in non-standard applications, that essentially violate spec.
