  1. I think my PS3 is far too expensive. Cause I haven't bought it yet.
  2. No, you don't. VGA will suffice if your display accepts it. Component Video is analog as is VGA, DVI and HDMI are just digital. You can display HD resolutions over VGA, I'm just not sure if 1080p is possible because I don't think VGA has enough bandwidth.
  3. Shoma, your processor is your CPU. INSIDE the computer, socketed to the motherboard. Please for the love of god learn proper terminology, you're confusing us all. HDMI and DVI are compatible for video, but HDMI also carries audio. If you don't have a DVI socket on your motherboard (Onboard video) or your video card, you don't have DVI. You'll need to buy a newer video card that does have it if you want to use it. You CAN however hook up with a VGA cable, if your plans are to hook up to an HDTV, if said TV has VGA in. And you will be able to feed the TV HD signals (To 1080i)
  4. If targeted towards gamers, is absolutely useless. But those of you saying games can't use these number of cores, you know nothing. Any 1 process can be spread across multiple cores. It is however only truly beneficial, when a program can spawn multiple threads on separate cores. Other than a bogus cash-in attempt by Intel, this would be VERY beneficial to an artist/video editor etc. Someone who has need of having many apps open at once. You could be encoding video on 1 or 2 cores, while having another core working with an art app and another 2 cores working on rendering something. No real benefit to the avg user OR gamers at all.
  5. Uh, we not has Direct Connect hub anymore, not for over a year at LEAST.
  6. Gamecop - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercury_(element)#Safety
  7. Addendum: Make that a 64bit OS in general. 32bit systems CANNOT address beyond 4GB, minus any memory mapped devices (Pretty much everything these days). The more expansion cards etc you have, the more of that 4GB address space your physical RAM loses to make use of.
  8. The monies, Gamecop pays well. Lots of monies in my Swiss bank account now.
  9. Let's get something straight here, The Taito Type X AND the X+ DO NOT support R520. R520 started with the advent of the x1000 series. The Type X and X+ only support up to X800XT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_R520 http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=677 http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=678 Type X makes full use of anything in the R420 lineup. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_R420
  10. Yes, I figured you would have already loaded the newest firmware.
  11. Gotta love it, need QT. And QT download site STILL does not work properly with Firefox. Missing button to continue, Hitting enter works, but download NEVER starts. Apple is suck.
  12. Any rom you load that doesn't work, has a bad header or is corrupt. Download another one. It's as simple as that. I have an R4 too, and have had this happen. Roms work in no$gba, but not on R4, downloading another one worked.
  13. Only ever been to one myself as well. Summer Sanitarium in Toronto - 2003 The lineup: The Deftones Mudvayne Linkin Park Limp Bizkit Metallica Concert lasted a LONG time. Several hours
  14. Like a Connect then Disconnect noise? Sounds like it isn't recognizing the pad. Have you tried rebooting? Have you updated the DirectX on it too? Chillstream uses Xinput and requires latest DirectX.
  15. You probably have a dud then, or a bad USB port. Try another port, if it still doesn't work, it's a dud. The fan SHOULD be powered directly off the USB port, and should work without even having any drivers installed.
  16. According to that, it's just like I said......those were bullshit min reqs. The min reqs posted before, look like recommended ones. I pass across the board.
  17. Why did you have to censor the other guys face?
  18. The visuals make me want to puke. The art style is disgusting. Maybe I just need to see it in motion, or maybe it really IS that bad.
  19. $60 for a game is highway robbery. Look at how many titles are released. I should miss out on most of them because I don't have an income of half a million dollars a year to purchase them all? As for piracy being rampant in Canada, YEAH RIGHT! You can't count those of us who download and burn our own copies as "PIRATES". We are NOT pirates FFS! Pirates make money off the theft. I'm not buying games anymore unless they're $19.99 or less. Period. I'm sick and f**king tired of getting the shaft with shovelware and emptying my pockets for nothing. Is it just a coincedence the RIAA is after the same goals? No, because they too aren't getting their pockets lined enough, because they allow artists to put out albums with 1 or 2 good songs and expect people to cough up $20 on avg for a little piece of plastic with mostly crap music on it. F**K the RIAA and the ESA. They can both blow me.
  20. Maybe you have to format the VMU, like you would on a real dreamcast?
  21. Finally all done. Tore the existing wiring out, reused the nice molex connectors etc Replaced the sticks and buttons (Wow Sanwa stuff sucks, not know why so popular. Buttons too shallow, sticks FAR too sensitive) Here it is! Save for cosmetic rework (I'm going to Krylon Fusion it red and black in the summer).
  22. I already am. lol On the docket is: Alvin and The Chipmunks (If you don't want to see this GTFO!) The Invisible Beowulf Hitman Probably watch Chipmunks with my daughter today. Snowed in FTW!
