  1. Better.....and free. Also been around FAR longer. http://www.teamcti.com/trayit/trayit.htm
  2. This was reported elsewhere days ago, and I think it's bogus. Those are some VERY steep minimum requirements. Recommended, yes. Anyway, there isn't one shred of evidence from the dev/publisher themselves. Links to said H&S posting return nothing, the forums at Ubisoft Support turn up nothing. I really hope those aren't minimum specs, as they are DISGUSTING all around.
  3. You can see the lightning bolt on his chest, not to mention the filename. What I'd like to know is what is with the "Jet Falcon" on the side. Maybe a username that was made for?
  4. Wow I like that flash one, an Iron Man one done in similar fashion would look awesome as a sig (If you don't mind).
  5. Biggest laugh around UFC is. The fighting equivalent of Nascar FFS. At least Boxing has style and isn't just a referee'd street fight. Stupidity at it's finest, and anyone who watches it ain't any better......
  6. Well look where he's posting. Emutalk has to have the largest number of asswipes per capita on any emulation site around. I was treated very poorly there and refuse to go back.
  7. What? That it is banned from the SPAM forum? lol It has PM'ed me due to that.
  8. You're an idiot, that's a car company. Moved to spam for stupidity reasons.
  9. Ok it does work for me too, but only in auto mode. Strange, as my official WiFi settings are identical to what I put in under Manual here. There must be a problem with manual configuration then. And if it helps you work out kinks with the server, the movie thing only seems to cause a crash when it's pointed to a folder with more than just AVI files in it.
  10. Raptor-geddon! This looks neat, and to be done entirely in flash requires talent. I've tried using Flash to create stuff, on one hand things are easy, but on the other far too difficult for some things.
  11. Gave the client a spin after playing with the server settings. I cannot connect, the server isn't responding. I know my network settings are correct, other apps work fine, and netstat shows my DS communicating. No firewall or anything blocking ports/UDP traffic. Oh and another note, your other Unofficial 0.8 here works fine. Gotta be something wrong with this release.
  12. Bug report - Server crashes on press "Stop Movie"
  13. There isn't a bottled water in North America that actually comes from anything but a tap. Don't believe what you read, it's like the patty supplier for McDonalds, they call it 100% Pure Beef, cause that's the name of the company! Well water, drilled to a spring. Or water you bottle yourself from a spring FTW. Just like Inky said, bottled water is the biggest scam ever conceived.
  14. All these ever so intrusive game protections are a HUGE turn-off to me. I read alot on just what protections are in use these days, and I will outright refuse to pay money for any game with an intrusive protection; ie Starforce. I do pirate, and I often do not purchase. But you know what? The gaming market as a whole, not just PC has become so watered down with absolute CRAP that you have to. You can't trust reviewers anymore, you can't walk into a store and look at the package for a game and think "'I'll like this at least" because what's shown is highly misrepresentative of the content as a whole (See - Blacksite: Area 51 please). It's come down to these days, me pirating EVERYTHING I want to play, and only buying what isn't garbage (Which is very little). And as for the excuse of pirating because gaming PCs cost too much. If you can afford to buy some ridiculously priced system rather than use your damn brain and build it yourself, you can afford to pay for games you like. That, or don't be a PC Gamer at all. If you can't afford bullets.....don't buy a damn gun!
  15. If she wasn't such a fatass, she never would have lost her balance and crashed down like a sumo into the tub.
  16. Hit that crap and drop it! She seems like she's just using you anyway, make her feel like a piece of meat. Hit it and split right after, telling her it's over and you're sick of being used and abused. P.S. Thanks for the piece.
  17. Around $1.05/litre = $3.98/gallon
  18. I do believe a Megadrive pad can be hooked directly to ones serial port. You just need the right software. I might be wrong though, and if I am there are plenty of ways to build a cheap interface, and I would recommend a 9 pin serial to 15 pin convertor (Provided you have an LPT port, I don't anymore so I can't use my homemade SNES adapter)
  19. LCD is not prone to burn in, this problem is something else. Either physical damage/dead pixels or stuck pixels. Try running a stuck pixel fixer.
  20. 100 DVD-Rs for $10? I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, has to be VERY poor quality media.
  21. Too bad their durability is pathetic compared to DVD. Writable Blu-Ray is horrendous, they can't put the same coating on the discs as pressed retail. People know this, the masses won't adopt as a storage standard until they at least improve durability. And price? OMFG. Even once things get cheaper, they won't get as cheap as DVD, even blank DVD-Rs never entered the market at prices comparable to Blu-Ray. Who would pay $25 for a 25GB Blu-Ray disc that can easily be destroyed and unreadable, when you can buy 25 4.7GB DVD-Rs for $10? Not me!
  22. Fool, don't take what is forced upon US citizens to be worldwide rule. Forced ATSC broadcasting is what is happening, get your facts straight. That won't force everyone to buy an HDTV.
  23. Just because the PS3 uses Blu-Ray, does NOT mean the format will stick around as a general consumer medium. There were loads of systems utilizing custom CD formats, the Gamecube has it's own mini-disc format, the Dreamcast had GD-ROM........ What you and millions of other people don't seem to understand, is that a video game system has ZERO bearing on the success of any given media. 1: Will most consumers adopt this media for audio/video playback within it's first 3 years? In the case of Blu-Ray, theres a resounding "I don't f**king think so!" 2: Will the PC market take the format on as a standard means of storage? Given the price point still and the slow uptake of writers in the market, this is pretty much a given......no. DVD still outweighs on ALL fronts. Price, space (So what if you need multiple DVDs to equal a Blu-Ray disc, it's still at least 2x cheaper) and durability. DVD had the upswing of being the successor to VHS, not CDROM though being 100% compatible with the features CDROM offered as well PLUS way more space. 3: Within the first 3 years, do standalone players account for 60% or more hardware sales? No, the PS3 counts as 80-90% of sales, and don't tell me you actually believe that even half of those PS3 owners even know they can play Blu-Ray movies/Care if they can....cause they don't. Blu-Ray has won the battle, but has already lost the war to DVD and the next upcoming UNIFIED format. Theres no room for 2 formats in this day and age, no matter which one outdoes the other......it is doomed itself to failure.
  24. Blu-Ray may possibly have beaten HD-DVD, but will lose to DVD. 90% of consumers couldn't give a rats ass about HD Movies, I am one of them. I won't be buying either, and certainly not Blu-Ray even if it sticks around (Which it won't), they can't stick to a properly formed backwards compatible spec. People with 1st gen players, will have obsolete hardware in just a mere few months thanks to the unfinalized spec of Blu-Ray. By the time enough people give a damn about HD movies, something newer and better will be on the up and coming.
