Depends on your needs, I found myself needing to use XBMC, as I made use of it more than anything else anyway. So I stopped using UnleashX. Overall I'd say XBMC anyway, as you can find useful scripts etc that you can't for UX. You can find scripts for so many things, even being able to load roms in a certain emulator from within XBMC for instance.

/me cringes at the number of icons on your desktop. You people scare me, the desktop pack-rats........ My TV only has my consoles hooked up to it, and other than when I get to use those, it's a 32" TREEHOUSE HDTV! That damn channel is on 90% of the time the TV is on. I've been thinking about trying to find a long enough DVI-D cable to reach, and a wireless keyboard. The computer and TV are too far apart for playing games otherwise. Currently working on a Supergun that uses the VGA on my TV, I've done a hack job to see if it works and it does, awesome that it accepts 15khz RGB over the VGA port, almost no computer monitors accept below 27khz.

BTW, I meant direct view CRT. Rear projection is utter garbage. I have a 32" LCD HDTV, that cost me $900. Your average 32" direct view CRT HDTV with roughly the same specs, $1800. (Probably over $2000 here in Canada, we get shafted) If I had that kind of money, I still don't know if I would, anyone who spends $1800 on a TV is an idiot in my books.

CRT over LCD any day thank you. If I could afford it, I'd have a CRT HDTV, not an LCD. CRT is far superior to LCD and I will never switch my computer monitor to LCD. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING, not plasma, not LCD not ANYTHING......beats CRT for brightness, color reproduction or black level.

PS2 games have absolutely no sort of change in filesystem from the defacto PC filesystems, Xbox does and is unreadable by a PC drive.

Check your manual, most phones with bluetooth only utilize it for having the phone act as a modem for the computer. That's all the bluetooth on mine is good for.

I've actually taken to making use of the IRC channel now, and I'm pretty sure some are aware at how disgusted I am with the fact there are FIVE (Count em, FIVE) f**king bots in channel that contradict eachother, ban users at will and cause problems in general. Not to mention bots are against every major IRC networks policy (Specifically EFNet's), if we're found with FIVE that are putting a load on the server like a chan with hundreds of people in it, by ban floods and crap, you can bet our chan will be banned and possibly everyone on it. Why is our "Official" channel being overseen by poorly managed bots that appear to be written/handled by a 5 year old? 1: There is no need for 5 bots 2: Bots shouldn't be able to ban Opers........EVER, this can backfire badly and cause you to lose the channel if the bots config goes wonky. 3: If you're going to use bots, 2 should be used at most. 1 to protect the other if anything. Any more just causes a larger possibility of screwups. I was just in chan again, withnessing 2 of the bots fighting over banning/unbanning a user. And in trying to get them to stop, I got banned. (For like the 10th time today) Maybe you should get someone who knows what they are doing, to create a properly working eggdrop for you guys, I'd gladly do it and give you a SINGLE bot that can protect the chan (Not five miscreants that need to be blown to kingdom come). Until this crap is fixed, and those shatly configed bots are gone........find me in #1emu2 on EFNet

730MB ISO file? Or 730MB NRG, Bin+Cue or something else? Those other formats have proprietary header data etc and the actual disc data probably is only about 680-690MB.

I wish there was something like that for my little 1GB Curtis MP3 player. I have to use WMP or Winamp to manage files on it, I can't drag n drop anything or use any sort of normal software. Stupid manufacturers........

This may not work for you, given that you're trying to lose weight rather than burn fat and build it into muscle and put ON weight........but it should, in reverse. Skip breakfast, eat a normal lunch and a big dinner. So lets take that in reverse, you want to speed your metabolism up. Eat a good breakfast, a moderate lunch and a light dinner.......and DON'T EAT BEFORE BED!. By eating a big breakfast, you force your metabolism to speed up for the day, and as the day goes on you're eating less. I hate diets that make you sacrifice certain foods, or stick to eating a predefined ammount of calories. They just don't work. With the first method, I put on 45lbs of muscle in less than a year. I went from 160lbs to 205lbs, while retaining the same % of body fat. I have a buddy at work doing the same thing, and he's managed to put on 20lbs in 3 months, while working out and not getting fat. But the key is.....EXERCISE! If you don't make your body work, nothing you do otherwise will change the end result.

And good riddance, Tekken 3 blew VF3 out of the water. VF didn't get good until 4. I remember my buddy snapping VF into lil fragments after I beat him too many times. He claimed the game made no sense. I just didn't like the gameplay.... at all. But I did like the crisp frame rate. But something bothers me about games on Sega Boards. From Daytona, through that Virtual On, VF's , some tank game, whatever, Games on Sega boards felt weird to me. The frame rate was good, but something was real odd. Can't put my finger on it. The piss poor 3D graphics, when you know better can be done with the hardware? I enjoy some games on my Saturn, but for the most part.......the games on it BLOW DEAD GOATS. I think the texturing is what was a real letdown in most games for me, totally bland and flat textures EVERYWHERE.

So, what'd you get on Boxing Day? Boxing Day in Canada, is the equivalent of Black Friday in the US. Alot of things are marked down, especially Christmas stuff and related gift sets etc. Me.....I got 3 new pairs of pants for $10 each ($30 each regular) 2x100 packs Maxell CD-R for $32 each (Regular $66) I ordered New Super Mario Bros for my DS with a gift card I got from work. And I was PISSED to notice that Zelda I bought on the 24th for $35......was now marked down to $20. Dammit!

Still beats WMP.......I just can't stand the way you work with portables in WMP. Actually, I think I just hate the fact I can't treat my MP3 player like a hard drive. Meh.

I'm going to go with the R4, already ordered a couple 2GB MicroSD cards (PQI, pretty cheap on Ebay, and SD certified). As for the Xbox, all I can suggest is visiting Xbox-Scene, there are a few ways of going about it.

Besides extra things of course, like running multiple bios'. The latest softmods even support soft-reset. I have an Xecuter3 chip, but I don't use it as my boxes are softmodded now and do everything I need them to. I'm going out tomorrow and picking up 1 or 2 more, as EB is having a sale of used Xboxes for $30.

I just picked up my DS today, along with a copy of this game. I actually haven't bothered with the SP yet, as I've been too busy getting it working with my router (Damn WEP, I had to downgrade my security settings for the DS). I played a match against someone online, and got my ass handed to me. I didn't know what I was doing at first........I lost 22-1. lol Anyone here with this, PM me and I'll give you my friends code.

Finally. Cigarette that is. Your the first confirmed smoker here I know of. Thought I was alone! But..... I should quit though. Anyway. I do still like to go to (good) movies... everyone says go check this out. So perhaps EM and I will do so. 19 bucks for the both of us though.... smuggle in food... 6 bucks for popped corn? Flock that. 5 bucks for a large drink........... call me cheap, but its the principle... screw them. so u 2 think watching a movie at a theater is expensive and not worth it but paying for cigarettes/suicide and killing others with second hand smoke is not? my sister saw this and said it was really good and scary so i might "go" see it I hate holier-than-thou non smokers. If you don't like it, take your ass outside where all the fresh air is. Second hand smoke can only affect those that let it. I don't smoke in my home because I have a little one that has no choice, but in other places like bars.........it shouldn't be banned, it's ALWAYS been known that people smoke in bars. You don't like it, get lost. All these anti-smoking legislations, barring smoking in all public places or even within 10 feet of buildings is BS. There are places where smoking just IS, take your ass elsewhere if you don't like it.

So are you/did you go in? I've been sick since last Saturday now, didn't miss any work as I kept double dosing myself with Neo Citran and NyQuil to the point of feeling drunk in the morning. Usually if I was that sick, I'd call in......but it's right before Christmas shutdown, and I'm now off until Jan 2nd.
