I second that, no 3d fighting game these days should be without a good 4x FSAA at least. There isn't exactly much to chew up power that would leave anything lacking to be able to use a decent level of FSAA.

When you burn large games, and they skip, it's because you're swapping with a retail game that has a smaller TOC than the game you're trying to run. Google PS2 TOC list, you need a retail game larger than anything you try to play. And I will reiterate that whole "Burn at the slowest speed possible" $hit is just that, $hit. Burn speed has no relevance to the read speed of the console in question, and slower speeds actually cause jitter and more PI/PO errors.

Bullshit Belthasar, the majority of firearms used in crimes in the US are procured through the means of theft of registered firearms improperly stored in the home. The only people who should own anything more than a hunting rifle, are the military and the police. I'd have to say my drivers license test. I just can't focus when someone is looking over my shoulder so to speak. School tests were never a problem, as I was left to my own devices. Failed my drivers test the first time btw, but I attribute that to an asshole as I was the last test of the day and he did some asinine things. Like making me park in the entrance to the test center and "pretend" I was on the shoulder of the road, then ding me for not signaling when I was really just going straight ahead. Dinged me for stopping for 2 seconds at a stop sign instead of 3. Bastard.....

Got anything in your Shceduled Tasks that is set to "Wake The Computer To Run This Task" under the Settings Tab for the scheduled task? Got any programs running in the background that like to access the hard drive when idle? Some antivirus will, like Avast's VRDB service.

I agree with those that don't like the games. I bought GTA 3, and for the first run through it was fun, after that BORING AS $HIT! Vice City added nothing, I never even finished it. San Andreas, while it's gameplay elements were improved......sucked the worst for all around storyline+gameplay. And no, it is BY FAR not the best PS2 game.

WinPcap? XBConnect uses that, it's for direct network layer packet inspection and capturing while bypassing the OS stack. XBConnect uses it to directly "talk" to your Xbox with no interference from the OS stack. Unless they've emulated the DUN/BBA, theres no use for this and I'd be MIGHTY suspicious.

That's extremely odd, I've moved drives into other machines that contain the system partition and had no problem accessing a USER folder, even an Admin one. Maybe theres a conflict in ID's? Trying running a CHKDSK on that drive and then accessing it.

Crating alone on a cabinet will run you a minimum of $100, let alone the shipping costs (We're talking hundreds of dollars across a few states). You're better off finding a cab you like locally, and then picking up your boards on Ebay. And yeah, good luck finding CPS3 hardware for a price that won't make you puke. Not to mention, who the hell would want a system with nothing but a handful of clone fighting games. How many friggin SFIII's are there? 4? Buy a Dreamcast and a jamma setup for it. MUCH cheaper.

Ok, so I bought myself a Sapphire X1650 512MB back in May, the thing died on me at the end of September. 1: Sapphire's "Warranty" page has been unavailable since forever..... 2: The local contact that I called, referred me to email them (The guy also spoke piss-poor english and afforded me ZERO help over the phone), fine whatever but.......see 3 3: I emailed them a week ago, I still haven't gotten any response. 4: I contact Sapphire directly, and tell them exactly what I told the local guy, and that I contacted them by email and have gotten nowhere. 5: I get my support ticket response telling me to email the same place I told them I emailed already! 6: I reply back telling them this, and asked if they even bothered to read my support ticket. If I don't get an RMA, and quickly, I'll be calling the Better Business Bureau. I'm tired of the disgusting support they have, and the run-around I've been getting. I'll gladly take them to small claims court if necessary too, as my card has at minimum, a 1 year warranty. I'm thoroughly disgusted with them, and even if they do fulfill the warranty on my card, I will NEVER EVER EVER buy another thing from them again.
