I've never heard of the company you put up links for. I use Cooler Master PSU's, good value for good price. As far as I'm concerned, all these "high-end" power supplies are overkill, adjustable rails are good but as long as your tolerance is within a certain range you're fine. Paying $250 for a PSU is sheer stupidity. You're SOL, I checked HP's service and support and only a CPU upgrade is a possibility. No GPUs offered whatsoever.

Why not? Laptop GPUs have been upgradeable for over 5 years now, depends solely on the manufacturers design however.

How about a BSOD error code? Have you disabled "Automatically Restart" under My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Start Up and Recovery Settings? What are your pagefile settings and how much free space is there on the drive the pagefile is on? What kind of network adapter, and are the drivers up to date, or has this started happening since you updated them? Pointing the finger at hardware is the LAST thing one should do.

Probably because they were given one to do so. In these scams, people do get what is offered, but it works like a pyramid scheme. You have to refer 5 friends, who have to refer 5 friends each etc before you see anything, and often that only gets you so many "points" and you have to complete some offer to get more. By the time you actually wind up getting anything, you've made the site more money than the system costs. In the case of this one, you have to complete TEN offers. And if you read the fine print, not doing so right to their wording means you get nothing.

You learn something new everyday. Is cable Interent better than DSL for the same speed? There are far more factors involved than I'm capable (Or rather, willing to) of putting forth to you about this, but with today's technology........no. Distance was a BIG factor in speed back in say, 1998, but the technology is different now and this isn't a big factor. DSLAMs are often located within hundreds of meters of your home. Of course theres still the distance factor to those DLSAMs to take into account, and line conditions, but this is also a factor with cable. Poor cable lines can degredate your connection just as easy, though distance isn't as large a factor (Though despite what any idiot on the internet tells you, STILL a factor).

As much as I would love to see it, I would prefer the devs keep on track with a PS3/360 version (Is it on both?) and stay away from the Wii with such a title. The Wii CANNOT handle what we've seen thus far of the game, and I don't want no watered down "Far Cry"......

But Fallout and Baldur's Gate are on a whole different level than most other RPGs. All other RPGs should be ashamed of themselves. I don't like Fallout, but I've never played Baldur's Gate. Just looked at some screenshots, kinda looks Diablo'esque. Does it play like Diablo?

Did you remove and reinstall the driver after removing Avast?

I'd try disabling Avast and seeing if the soundcard will work. Most (If not all now) Virus Scanners have a resident scanner running at all times (Resident Shield in AVG, Auto-Protect in NAV....dunno what Avast's is, but disable it if you can). Might be something like Heuristics keeping the driver from initializing. If the soundcard works while Avast is disabled, I'd suggest informing Avast and seeing if a fix is possible. If not, get AVG or something else you feel comfortable with.

You know me, normally I'd crap all over stuff like this due to my DIY nature.........but for under $100, people you're getting a deal!

I still need to try that game out... it's really that good huh? its decent, not the best IIRC it was consistently voted better than the other Sonic games at the time of it's release. Truthfully, it doesn't play any better than 2 or 3 but more and longer levels (50), the past/future gimmick, new bonus stages and much better soundtrack (Jap one is preferred as US music was changed) due to CD media. The only flaw is that the spin can't be charged a la Sonic 2, but overall I think it's classic 2D Sonic fare. I have it for Xbox as part of Sonic Mega Collection, I'm assuming it's on PS2 too. ??? Sonic CD is only available on Sonic Gems Collection (PS2/GC), it wasn't released on Xbox. Seconded, I have them both for Xbox and Gamecube, Sonic CD isn't on the Xbox one.

I prefer Sonic 2 over any others, but when it comes to the 3D ones I have to say they pretty much suck. Sonic Adventure 1+2 are terribly done and tie Sonic to the stupid cartoon too much in terms of look. And the controls ruin EVERYTHING. Oh and don't get me started on the VERY retarded voice acting. Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn version) is better FFS.

I bet you can get one on Ebay for under $20, refurb. I'm looking at a bunch right now.

Yeah I still run it, on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+. Works fine here, though there is still the odd hiccup (Like there isn't with Explorer lol) where it may stop responding under certain conditions..........like once a week.

Of course, eventually we all need our space. But there's a difference when you prefer to be left alone and when you could be socializing with a group of buddies or ladies. The only true space I prefer to be left alone is the bathroom. Don't have many friends thanks to what appears to be a rather polluted gene pool where I live, very few people in this town are upstanding respectable people I'd want to be seen within 10 feet of. Most are drug abusing jobless low-lifes, so yeah I'd prefer to be left alone.
