  1. That's exactly what I'm talking about and you're the perfect representation of that. But what I don't get is why you want to be left alone? Most guys who feel lonely are desperate to remove that label from themselves. But it's not an all the time thing, just I guess when my wife has left me to my own devices for too long. We often have little arguments about one not paying attention to the other enough, and it's because we are secure enough to let the other do their own thing.........a little too much so sometimes that it leads to the aforementioned. I'd prefer to be left alone most of the time, because I need my space, don't most guys?
  2. I'm married, and yeah the odd time I do. But for the most part, I would rather be left alone.
  3. PSP is the GP2X's pimp...........cheaper and better. Oh and I say this as someone who has never used either.
  4. The fact that it shouldn't be installed in the first place? Anyway, if it attaches itself to Explorer.......haha, I don't run Explorer in any way shape or form.
  5. Yay, fixed my colors. Slight sync issue still remains, I'm thinking it might be interference due to unshielded wiring, will know once I get it put together properly. Capacitance isn't an issue, as it's syncing perfectly with the LCD monitor......must be something else.
  6. The chicken, by way of evolution. Huzzah!
  7. Never used a wireless controller at all, let alone for Gamecube. Pelican makes a wireless one with rumble, called the G3.
  8. Contained the excrement. High five to staff for quick pincer attack!
  9. Ok WTF are those things, by the looks of it Kojima has taken MGS to a high level of wierd retardation. What's with the strange bio-mech creatures, and a mech panther? WTF! I'm not sure I want to play this abomination now.
  10. Think I may just be canning the portable arcade project I have underway, and making a simple Supergun with VGA out instead. I've rigged this up to my LCD HDTV now that some more of my parts have arrived, and it works. Still have some minor bugs to work out (Color problems, resistors on RGB lines should correct) and a slight sync issue (Corrected with a capacitor less than 47uf I was using on PSOne LCD I would imagine) Wish I had space for a cab.....
  11. The Independence Exploit has nothing to do with the Magic Gate though, it's a buffer overflow exploit in how PS1 games are loaded by making a call to Sys Configs Title.DB, nothing more. The only way a claim like this is possible, is if an exploit was found in the authentication routine of the so called "Magic Gate" when loading the system configuration. Even then it would have to be an injection of sorts, relying on a bug in something the PS2 does on startup with it's checks for memory card(s) I would imagine.
  12. NES - Base Wars SNES - Super Metroid Nintendo 64 - Zelda Ocarina of Time Gamecube - Metroid Prime Wii - Metroid Prime 3 Sega Genesis - Sonic 2 Sega Saturn - Radiant Silvergun Sega Dreamcast - Headhunter Playstation - Final Fantasy 8 (Played 7 WAY too much, need explore more ) Playstation 2 - God of War Playstation 3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 (?) XBOX - NHL 2007 (Have to have a sports game somewhere) XBOX 360 - ? Never even laid hands on one, wouldn't know what to pick....maybe Gears, maybe something else. Oh and forgot the SMS, cause really...it sucked ass. Just sold one for a 1400% profit lol If you must though, I enjoyed Rampage on the SMS as a kid.
  13. Saw this on MC, theres not a shred of supporting evidence here, like even a developer. Not to mention the article on Gizmodo has points in it that were NOT clearly stated on MC, but they seem to have added. The MC article doesn't state specifically you don't need to swap or anything of the sort. I fail to see how this is possible, and I'm VERY skeptical, but we'll see. I have 3 PS2's and 1 has a partially installed Crystal Chip 2.1 in it (I have to fix a solder splash, but I've been lazy....3 PS2's at my disposal). Something like this would be awesome if real.
  14. You my friend, are spending ENTIRELY too much time indoors. Get out in the sun and do something, anything. Vitamin D deficiency. Trust me, it happens to me all the time if I don't get out enough. During the week I'm fine as I get out enough while at work, but during the weekend if I stay inside most of 1 day I feel like I could pass out for 24 hours straight.
  15. Pfft, for teh initiation, and SNES is better.
  16. I have 5 invites, but I'm not giving them out unless you promise to read the rules and follow them! There's nothing newer than 1999 for PC, and the newest console you'll find stuff for is Dreamcast. Requesting or posting stuff against the rules, could wind you up with a ban if you're ignorant enough times. You MUST keep a ratio above 0.3 with 5GB or less downloaded or you'll be banned in 28 days if you don't get your ratio up. After 5GB you are still subject to this, but in probably even faster fashion. If you aren't going to make me look bad for inviting you, hit me up!
  17. Better make sure it's not a socket 423. 478's aren't the only P4's, despite what James said.
  18. http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=so...earch&meta= Namely, try the 3rd result down for starters.
  19. Well the problem you run into there, is if your wireless connection is your internet connection, you aren't going to be able to share the connection to begin with. You can't connect to 2 devices are the same time with 1 wireless network card in infrastructure mode. You either connect ad-hoc between devices (Works like a radio does) or infrastructure, which works on a point-to-point method. Even with SoftAP, you'll need a secondary method of connecting your internet connection to share it with the other device coming in on the AP.
  20. Wow, I forgot all about this. You need to enable Ad-Hoc connections for your wireless NIC to act as an access point. In Infrastructure mode, this kind of connection from PSP/DS isn't possible, so enable Ad-Hoc or BOTH if possible in your network card settings.
  21. Soundmax what? I have 7.1 HD from Soundmax and a simple Google search got me what I needed. If it's integrated, find out what chipset it is from your motherboard manufacturer. If it's not integrated, what is the card manufacturer? Soundmax doesn't make retail products, just chipsets. My chipset is the ADI1988
  22. Fair enough, I guess being a DYI'er, stuff like this really makes my eyes pop out of my head, because I know how much it could cost me (A tiny fraction) to build it myself. That and I'd like to know your effort (And anyone else) is actually going towards something that could bring a turnover to the site and help support it, by means of getting something FINANCIAL (Yeah I said it) back from putting that effort in.
  23. I don't want to be a downer, but why the reviews on such overpriced stuff all the time? (GP2X) One of these retails for $195 on coincepts.com (An official retailer) REFURBISHED! I can see it has alot to offer, but the parts cost doesn't show such an offset like that. It's insanely overpriced. Why do we want to review something that, most likely, NOBODY here will buy and we can't help the site using referal/sponsor money when one is purchased?
  24. LGA775 is a socket type. 775 pins (Or in this case, grid points). That specific one, is a Pentium 4 Socket LGA775. If you have anything else (Socket 423 or 478) you're in need of a new motherboard to go with the CPU.
