  1. Guess messing with a gaming company that is 100x more inclined to make great arcade titles and holding them back WILL screw you.
  2. Is google really that hard to use? http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=Ad...earch&meta= in the 3rd result. Just incase that link is too (Relax I'm just screwing with you) it's called the First Tsurugi.
  3. I'm so glad it's coming to the 360, because with this and GT5, my wife would cut my peepee off when I went out and bought a PS3.
  4. http://racer.nl/ - The Gran Turismo of PC games, and best of all it's totally customizable, and FREE!
  5. DO NOT buy it, I've seen nothing but problems posted on the DMS4 boards and other places. It doesn't stay put and in coming loose it can cause damage to your PS2. There isn't a solderless solution available for PS2 that actually works like it claims. It isn't feasible on the PS2, there is nowhere to mount it firmly enough to keep it in place. Hell, if you even run into problems the DMS4 team is nowhere to be found and hasn't been for over a year. The support forums have months and months of porn spam on them.
  6. To further back up my point see http://dcemulation.com/article-supported.htm See the "Non working models" section. It was at one time thought true, but through community testing and input, NO model blocks out backups. ZERO
  7. I'd like to add that the "Manufactured Before September 2000" thing is one big ass myth. ALL units will run backups. It's also very easy to tell a selfbooting image from a non-selfbooting one. Selfbooting images contain 2 sessions. Either 2 Data, or an Audio and Data session. Bin/Cue and ISO are NEVER self booting as they don't support multi-session. You can also tell if an image is correct or not, by running a scan on it in Isobuster and programs like Nero will show either "?" or something odd beside a track in disc info if it's incorrect. (I don't use Discjuggler, it's quite problematic for some people) There's more to know, as I've got nearly a complete US collection and I've had to selfboot several of my own. Daemon Tools will suffice for any image you wish to burn, with any software as long as it supports Disc Copy.
  8. Those look like concept art, so the look of them won't translate directly.
  9. Internet Explorer isn't even classified as a "Web Browser" by the W3, so there. IE sucks donkey nuts. It's the swiss cheese of browsers.
  10. Fanboy, theres a reason NvIdia releases so many updates so often, and why patches state so many bugs with NvIdia cards. I'm not going to fanboy it up with you, but ATi is FAR better in the driver department than NvIdia has EVER been since the release of the first Radeon. ATi pre Radeon I'll admit they were bad with their drivers. Their crappy replacement for the Control Panel needs to go though, it works like crap. (The Catalyst Control Center). If you have driver problems, like most who do, it's probably thanks to your crappy VIA chipset based motherboard. Hardware wise, it's nothing more than $ as far as I'm concerned. If drivers weren't something to look at, It'd be a toss up of whoever was throwing out the best for less. It's just trench warfare to grab whoevers money they can anyway. If it wasn't for the fact that I think Crossfire is a better implementation than SLI (I don't like the idea of MUST HAVE 2 IDENTICAL SLI CAPABLE cards in my system, not to mention it's not as feature rich) I'd have probably gone with NvIdia this time around. But for the fact I was going AMD, with a chipset designed inhouse with ATi, with direct support for everything I wanted PROPERLY, ATi was a no brainer. Hell my southbridge gets driver updates with my video card now. Anyway, if you want NvIdia, get NvIdia! I have no reason to tell you otherwise, it's personal preference.
  11. I go ATi myself, but that's not the point here (I won't get into why I haven't used NvIdia since my TNT2, but suffice it to say a GF4 turned me) I wouldn't go with either of those cards. But if you HAD to, I would say the 8500 GT. Why, you ask? 1: Futureproof (To what point PC hardware can be) as it's got DirectX 10 support, the 7600 GT does not. 2: HDR (If you even care for it, I don't) is 128bit, versus the 7600's 64. 3: Slightly cheaper on average (Though we're talking like a $10 difference) Now why would I not get either? Because you can get an 8600 GT for pretty much the same price as a 7600 GT, maybe $10-$20 more, and within your $100 price range if you Ebay. The 8600 GT/GTS not only have the first 2 reasons I said over the 7600 GT, they're faster, sport better memory (GDDR3 versus GDDR2) and you won't be regretting your purchase in 6 months when a game comes out that would put that 7600 GT to shame over having purchased an 8600 GT for a mere $10-$20 more, you'll be wanting to spend $100 again. Oh and I don't know of a video card from NvIdia or ATi in the last 3 years that doesn't sport TV-Out.
  12. Given what you have for a CPU already, you'd be stupid to waste your time overclocking in the first place. You don't need more CPU power if you can't run the latest games well, you need more RAM and/or a better video card.
  13. No flags, only a memory address..........I'll lay $5 on your RAM wigging out on you soon, that or you're overclocking too high (Again see previous statement). Is the address the same every time, or close in range?
  14. I dun do the overclocking, I just don't see the point. Unless you can do some serious overclocking, the gain isn't worth the risk/lessened life of your hardware. I'd rather just put in the hardware I want, not less and try to pull more out of it. This isn't to say I haven't overclocked, I had my P4 1.4Ghz overclocked to 1.6Ghz, but I was running some serious aftermarket cooling on the CPU and Southbridge, and I didn't want to admit to myself that I needed a new PC badly........nor did my wallet wish to agree.
  15. It's here, and wow is it dirty! Probably been sitting inside the candy cab I saw it in, since it was released! Surprised nobody took much interest, this is cool! Here's some pics, and in the 2nd you can see the 4 IDE-like connectors for the game cart. I'll be removing the keying in them, as this is the regional lockout system. US/EU regions have the keys in different spots. After that, I can buy any cart I like, but it will run in the language it was designed for.
  16. Have PS2, have AR with exploit loaded on memrory card, have cog swap tool. Also have modchip, unfinished install (Need to clean up a mistake, have no time)....have 2 PS2's, working one needs DVD laser. That's why! Oh and because I can, that's the real reason.
  17. Asus M2R32-MVP AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2x1GB PC6400 DDR2 Sapphire ATi Radeon x1650 Pro 512MB Odin Sphere runs fine unless there is dialogue, or any sort of cutscene etc. The audio sounds all wierd and distorted and ultra slow, like it's digitized garbage coming out of my speakers. Guess I'm SOL for other plugins (Like a higher rated sound plugin found on NGEmu, that I guess is out of spec with the new version of PCSX2)
  18. It's called a "RIP" and it's a very messy way of doing things. For the amount of time it takes to copy the files to said other PC in the first place, just install the damn thing and avert potential issues.
  19. Ok so I decided to give PCSX2 a go on my new PC, and I tried some compatible games with a couple being successfully run and others that ran like crap or didn't run at all even though the PCSX2 Compat list says they work. Namely, I want to try that Odin Sphere game, which is said to work but I'm having trouble with it. The audio is very slow, to the point of slowing the emulator down big time. Seems other audio plugins aren't even recognized in PCSX2 0.9.2 either. I also see many references to the ZeroGS 0.96.0 graphics plugin being the best to use, but I find it to be VERY buggy and I'd like to make use of the Dual Core settings in the CPU config, but they cause problems with the GSdx9 0.9.0 plugin, the plugin that seems to work best for me. Basically, anyone else got this game running well, or most compatible games for that matter? And what should I be using for plugins for the best compatibility? P.S. Don't tell me to buy a PS2, mine needs a new drive laser and I just want to give things a good go on PCSX2
  20. Even if it was a legitimate machine, how the hell do I play SNES and 6 button Genesis games, on a 3 button system (Not counting shoulder buttons, if there even are any)?
  21. nm, I fixed it. Found an old entry in my MAME32UI.INI that pointed to a drive that no longer exists. I don't get it though, it was there when it was working yesterday, why is it causing an error now?
  22. Yesterday, MAME32 was working fine for me, now I'm getting this stupid ass error message every time I start MAME32, and a reboot doesn't fix it. I figured maybe it was an INI problem, with a reference to a drive/folder that doesn't exist (I've changed my drive structure around recently), but that's not it. FTW!!! Can't hit any of the buttons, it just comes back up, the only way to kill it is to kill the MAME32 process.
  23. OUCH, whats with the temper you got lately, give her a break. Better some then none. ROOFLES, you haven't seen my temper. I'm just rather opinionated lately.
  24. Is it just me, or does that bear a striking resemblance to a cassette deck in the top end of the UMD slot? Leftover 80's Walkman parts?
  25. Nice rack? Looks like her belt is holding those sagging bags up......get yer eyes checked.
