XboxHDM doesn't do anything for you but access the FatX filesystem and allow you to work with it. You still need to prepare the files in each drive (Located in the XboxHDM package as folders named for each) and copy the needed dashboard files. If you want to run homebrew (Emulators and XBMC) you'll need a modchip or softmod, and since you're hotswapping I assume you're going softmod. You'll need to use a softmod package like NDure, and place the files in the appropriate XboxHDM folders before creating an ISO with it.

Analogue stick, sticks (no pun intended)
ken_cinder replied to hi_resurrection's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
You need precisely this. And I would recommend taking the controller apart and cleaning the parts UNDER the sticks. http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product....product=6402301 -
Thought I'd share a pic with you guys, as I've finally started to wire everything up and cut the pieces I need etc. Bear in mind this is like JUST STARTED WIP. The Supergun you see in the picture isn't going to be used (Damn thing is SCART and refuses to display in color on my TV or any display I have for that matter) I have just been working with it for ease of use with my power supply atm. It will be for sale when I'm done with it. Another thing, is my Double Dragon board in the picture, needs repaired. I think I borked one of the roms, easy fix....when I get around to it, I've got an F3 system on the way. Everything you see raw, will be covered nicely when I'm at the final stages of cleanup. Polycarbonate perf board used for the inlay, this will sit IN the lid of the suitcase, as will the bottom piece with the controls. I haven't got the bottom even started yet, as the A/V is most important, and what I'm working on ATM. 2x10w 4ohm speakers from an old set of PC speakers, wired directly to the phono ports and to the PSOne LCD. This will provide me with 3 options for audio. 1: Unamplified stereo sound (Top row of phono plugs 2+3) 2: Unamplified mono BRIDGED sound (Top row phono 4) 3: Amplified Stereo sound (Through Micro port on LCD, not visible....yet) PSOne LCD with custom LED backlight, wired directly to the PSOne LCD controller board. I broke the damn original backlight, this works awesome. Thanks to Sickmods.net This is wired up to the phono ports for RGB, but also has it's mini jack for Composite. Phono ports for video are as follows, from left to right. The jacks will also be getting replaced with some sturdier ones. B1: Red B2: Green B3: Blue B4: Sync (Pulled from S-Video Y, Composite sync doesn't work...hmm) T1: Video Ground I'll post more as I get more work done!

Actually $40.00 USD = $37.81 CAD, our dollar is worth $0.945 USD. I've never had a problem with Logitech stuff, and I own plenty of it. As far as I'm concerned though, the PC controller market is GARBAGE, I've never seen a properly conceived gaming controller out there beyond flight sticks. I stick to console adapters for gamepads, as console pads are far superior to any PC pad I've encountered. What about Interact's stuff? I've only used some of their older pads, back in the 95/98 era, but they made good pads then. Not sure if they still make PC stuff though. Otherwise, I'd recommend Saitek.

At one point I had 5, with 3 on at all times. I've since built a new PC, and given everything away except the new one (duh) and my previous main system, which I kept for my wife. I've got a PIII 600 sitting here that was supposed to go to my grandmother, but she told me she doesn't want it. Not sure what I'm going to do with it, I have no use for it.

Depending on the bios in question (Each has it's own beep code system, and your's isn't listed in the manual....I read it) it could be you just borked the CMOS, did you try clearing that? The motherboard itself isn't ruined, or you wouldn't be able to power it up, but you could have killed a bus or something. I'd clear the CMOS and see what happens. Oh and it's an SLi system, so if clearing the CMOS doesn't fix it, try the video card in the other PCI-E slot. You may have fried the first port, it seems to be a rather common occurance actually.

The difference in beeps with RAM in and RAM out would indicate that the RAM isn't likely the problem, unless there is minor damage to a specific chip on the DIMM but the PC is still detecting it. Every PC I've ever worked with or owned, that post errored with a single long beep, indicated a video card problem. Try another video card, or that video card in another PC first before you go replacing the ram. If it works, then it's the RAM

Wow, I'd want to see internal pictures to draw some conclusions though. Looking at what appears to be a rather generic casing design doesn't say much, they BOTH look like cheap garbage.

They aren't, I'd imagine the other slabs were there already, they just put posts in those places and filled em. Looks like they're just cleaning up.

1 has a broom, the other a shovel. I don't think the shovel has anything to do with it, as they're just moving stuff with it, but yeah how did they get the van in there? Looks like it wouldn't fit between those posts. edit: WAIT A MINUTE! They were putting those posts in, and parked the van on the inside! Look at the fresh concrete around them.

Plays a little similar to Silkroad Online, but with more customization and a better quest system. As for graphics, Silkroad Online is better. I'm running Rappelz on max detail @ 1152x864. It'll take a bit more getting used to, but I think it's a better game.....so far. The lag HAS to go though (It's barely noticeable, but I'm still on the Trainee Island........wonder how bad it is in crowded areas).

I have a healthy, smart 2 year old little girl. Nuff said.

Downloaded it, and it's taking more time for the client to dowload it's updates than it did for me to download the client itself. FTW....

Too much video gaming not addiction, yet
ken_cinder replied to Alpha's topic in Gossip Café [/offtopic]
It IS an addiction, and so is the internet in and of itself. We are being formed into a society where digital bonds are the only necessity in life, and theres nothing anyone can do about it. It's called EVOLUTION. The only way to stop being "addicted" to these things to that degree, is to have a goddamn mind of your own, and have parents that don't need to be shot and pissed on (Something most children these days are lacking, look at obesity rates). Parents and the medical community are FAR too quick to blame societal problems of children, on video games, movies and television, when the problem is the parents and medical community itself! There is far too much misinformation, lack of information and "I just don't give a damn, I'm lazy" going around. TO THE WORLD, I SAY..........FARK YOU AND GET A MIND OF YOUR OWN! -
Then take taxes and whatever else off, plus the fact you won't save every single cent to put towards them........ I make that much in less than 2 days, trust me it doesn't work out to as much as you'd think after everything is taken into consideration (Even without any bills). Just try not to spend money on many petty things, as they add up FAST. You'll find yourself going "Only $5" "Only $10", like I've been doing lately because I've had a large surplus of extra cash, and then one day you'll look and go "Ouch, far less in the bank than there was 2 weeks ago, better cool it out"

I'm guessing 9 bucks an hour is good? What is the min wage in the US now? I remember it being like $5/hr at one point, while it was $7.50/hr here. If I were to quit my job and go find another one, I don't think I could settle for anything under $13/hr.

Well remember he said that canada, america and mexico are going to be joined so if that means you might get it. It might happen probably in the next 10 or 15 years. Hopefully i will be out of here. Yeah, right......the US would have to annex Canada for that to happen, and good luck finding us up here, the yanks would get lost without a huge metropolis to rely on every 50 miles. You can't conquer that which you cannot find, especially when it can find you instead. I'll be waiting in the forest near the military base up the road somewhere on that day, come get me.

I'm on vacation for a week, I'm just going to eat, sleep and be a bunny rabbit with the wife.

Poor scaler in them, it all comes down to math, if the scaler is good enough and can calculate the px-px ratios close enough, you'll get a better scaled image. I don't know how to explain it any simpler, and to get really technical, I don't know THAT much about the process either.

Somewhere in between, but leaning more to "One hit you're dead". You take damage, and your vision blurs more as you take more damage. Don't find cover fast enough, and you're dead. In later stages, enemies will use grenades and those WILL 1 hit kill you. Your teammates will warn you of an incoming grenade though, so you have a chance to avoid them.

Sorry for the evil bump, but I got my new PC and I just finished this game.......wanted to know what the rest of you thought. I thought the cliffhanger ending SUCKED! And this was (albeit a good game, and very fun) NOT Rainbow Six at all. Where's my teams? Where's my control over my squadmates? This is Ghost Recon with Urban Camo.......nothing more, Rainbow Three.

Oh yeah - http://www.shoutwire.com/viewstory/76821/F...End_of_Humanity PWNAGE! Same goes for Myspace.

Any monitor worth a **** should have a semi-decent scaler in it anyway, and stretch a 4:3 input to 16:9 cleanly. My LCD HDTV does, and it's not some uber expensive model either.

Just fyi, the PSP is $170 now. I am also not taking part in the PSP vs. DS thang, mostly because I own both and I love them both equally. They both have their ups and downs. That's all I'm saying. We aren't all from the US.....

I want a PSP, but not for it's games. Homebrew and media are all I care for (Maybe a few games). I won't buy one for a few reasons though. 1: I'm a big guy who tends to be clumsy (Careless?) with portable things, I've broken 2 Gameboys, CD players etc, so I'm leary of spending the money on one (See reason #2) 2: It still costs too much. $199 for a portable anything, as far as I'm concerned is too much. I find it rediculous that people will pay hundreds of dollars for cell phones and Ipods, I have better things I can spend my money on. 3: I don't have much time for a portable, but I would use it for music alot. Games are a big "huh?" for me when I'm on the go, I'm not 10 years old riding in the back seat of my parents car anymore. This goes to the price point to, as a lack of use.
