  1. why don't you just call Micro$oft for valid keys? Last I remember, I obtained several by calling them for a new one. Did you already have a purchased copy of Windows Vista? Wouldn't you like to know. Guess not. You must know your way around with microsoft operators. Seeing as how most are from India ... anyway, no, it wasn't that hard at all. At the time, they weren't asking for any personal information or anything of the sort. How much of this is the truth? Do you need screenshots of my enabled RTM version via valid key from M$?
  2. Essentially nothing, but if you are gonna be looking for netplay, or even people to play with you'd be out of luck. I have never used Nebula even when it first came out so I'm somewhat biased. Well, forget about netplay .. I myself would use FBA only for netplay. I can't even stand using mame32k for netplay as well. However, Nebula is a great emulator, and the hacks made for it in the past have been spectacular regardless of how much ElSemi disliked them. The sames goes with WinKawaks -- those 2 emulators battled it out pretty hard in 2002-2004. I never bothered with either extensively, I remember how popular Neorage X was back in 98-2000 I like mame's netplay. I prefer the way it loads a bit more than the other two emus. Neorage X remains my number one choice for any old computer I have lying around. It's by far one of the most well made DOS emulators. I don't have to worry about anything.. I am running a Core 2 Duo Extreme and Intel Accelerated Graphics. I can run nuclear tests if I wanted.
  3. Really? I'd heard the opposite was true. If anything, smokers should stay away from the white PSP, because it will stain up on them right quick. As for the car analogy, black doesn't absorb heat so much as it absorbs white light. So a black car sitting out in the sunlight all day will definitely be like an inferno to drive, but a black console indoors shouldn't be any less effective at disseminating heat than a white one. The colour doesn't trap heat generated inside as far as I know. Anyway there's no accounting for taste, but I still stand by black being the most formal and elegant colour for anything- electronics included The only thing that is awesome in black is any PC made by Alienware. Though the white is much better in my honest opinion.
  4. a close is in order? I honestly found it kind of sad at how many threads are almost years old. Don't worry about it. Unfortunately, we've had cases with weeks of inacitivity in forum posts on different areas of 1Emulation. Feel free to post in any thread that's on the first page for any forum category. Thank you Dr. Cop
  5. Hah, I was just about to post this also.
  6. Sure. - wikipedia.com One of my favourite games. The Music is astounding in this game.
  7. Agreed. Take the PSP for instance- there is so much potential for the little beast, but instead the constant stream of updates is geared toward ultimately unsuccessful security fixes. Who cares? It is the tiniest majority that take advantage of exploits anyway, and even then they do not necessarily stop buying games because of it. Why not spend the time making the machine a more attractive proposition to potential buyers? Anyway they have taken it easy with the PSP so far, but its about now that they really have to step their game up. Now's also a good time to hype up all that PSP-PS3 connectivity of which nothing has come so far. I don't think Blu-Ray is faring as bad as people like to think. JB Hi Fi, which is probably the biggest DVD retail shifter in Australia is backing it exclusively and not stocking HDDVD at all. Not that it matters to the rest of the world, but the format is certainly far from dead. And I don't think the porn industry is a major concern for Sony. They actively opposed the early adoption of the UMD as the porn media of choice in Japan. the U.S. Porn Industry is a major concern. But then again, region is a factor.
  8. It would really depend. Sony is kind of falling on hard times as of late. If Sony would just stop wasting their time with all these pointless firmware releases and paying these programmers 24/7 to battle these crackers -- they may have gotten somewhere by now. They should just be happy the PS2 is on a respirator since the PS3 has already died. I sold all but one of my PS3's. I made a lot of money back for a crappy system =/ And yes they would. That and the fact the porn industry has gone with HD DVD. They lost a lot of money there.

  10. To be fair, both cars would flaunt dirt effectively. True .. a little off topic .. but there is another problem with black and white handheld devices. If you look at a black Nintendo DS Lite or Sony PSP .. you'll notice that they easily smudge and show fingerprints. But if you grab a white version of both handhelds ... any smudges or fingerprints will be very hard to notice. I personally grew out of any console that was entirely black (seeing as most were during our childhoods.)

  15. I'd bet everything I've got on the PSX version of Alpha3 having Balrog's Casino Stage. There is even a particular World Tour location in the US that is held there. Hold the cursor on Karin for a bit then press Start+P/K on a random box. Sankyuu for that. By random box, you mean the random select? Time to pwn n00bs once again.
  16. No way. Black is still king. The white Xbox looks like one of those toy rip-off consoles. Wii looks ok I guess, but still the blackness of the Xbox will be a huge factor in me getting an Elite over a Premium whenever it is I buy one. AMEN TO THAT. Electronics generally look better in black or clear with Neon colors around it The Elite looks awesome. That color scheme makes me think of those ugly FILA shoes people wore back then (the white ones were ok though). Anywho, the chrome/white 360 is much more aesthetically pleasing than an all black console.
  17. I could never find a good dump of the game on emu's, but I have the SNES cartridge and it is such an awesome game with good music. Anyone ever played it?
  18. how do you unlock Balrog again? I completely forgot he was selectable.
  19. Anyone ever played these legendary Stratergy series on SNES? They were my favourite games for a long time

  22. Has that stepped out of rumour-territory yet? The 'XIII series' I know is not exclusive, but I gather that only refers to the spin-off games for DS, phones and possibly the 360- is 'Final Fantasy XIII' itself now officially getting a 360 release? That will be a blow to Sony however they cut it. wasn't XI also released as a set for the 360? Not that exclusive.

  24. It wouldn't really matter. if i revived it now, it'd be almost 10 months before a worthy response would come. And, I was just voicing a fact
  25. WRONG. You can run A LOT of commercial games with Desmume and Ideas. Not that many.
