EDIT: so pretty much a nerdy coder's Christmas lol.

flash player 7 is quite old, sony has been making firmware updates like crazy, so why can't they just update the flash player to 8 or 9? It should be in the system's flash data sectors, so could it be as simple as replacing like flash.prx?

There is a point of efficiency here of using china parts and the price you aren't going to make more money by using cheaper parts if you are selling for a very high price that no one will accept. It took sony like (I don't really remember) about 4 years to cut the PSP's price down(which was kinda retarded since its value should have dropped)

I don't use the 1.5 kernel, I just use the 3.71 one, works fine for everything I have tested exept for PSPRadio, which only works on a specific firmware...*wishes that the person made it so it would at least be current! Not 2.7X!*
