Tested it, it seems legit, no virus, no adverse effects, and no bricking... Problem is it didn't work. >_> The patcher is nice enough, made a backup of the file and everything... The one you patched is a bit old I think. i dunno about more information. it based on Rudolph's solution(http://blog.so-net.ne.jp/Rudolph/2007-06-20) i have tested few homebrew's and found a problem. cannot connect with domain name. try with ip address.
