never mind...it was because Neo Rage X was on european mode...I put it on US and it was fine...
-
so I downloaded Matrimelee onto my friends computer...and it plays fine, but all the background music is in the wrong stages...the rom on my computer doesn't have this problem (and I got it like...a couple years ago or something)...is there a screwed up rom floating around now or something? I've tried downloading it from various sites (*********, *********...some spanish one...) and its all the same...what the heck is goin' on? Don't say where to get roms!
-
wow, three times? crap, I'm sorry...I hate causin' people to repeat themselves...just didn't know what to do since I didn't have the problem on my computer, then I followed your setup and found out why...I have a similar setup...but I use scanlines...and scanlines didn't hurt on his computer either... ...thanks for the help though...
-
Yep, its me...I know its been a LOOOOOOOOOONG time... ...so if thats the case, then how do I go about "slowing it down"?
-
I downloaded NeoRageX 0.8c onto my friends computer recently since my own computer's power supply recently died...We both have Windows XP on our respective computers, and I've used and enjoyed NRX on my computer for a few years with no problems (meaning, I already know how to use it)...but here's what happens when I attempt to play a game on his computer... ...The rom loads up fine, but the game itself acts a LITTLE funny...mainly, the music and game itself skips, as if it jumps ahead of itself every couple seconds...its kinda annoying and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem, and if so...how to fix it... ...just odd because I never had the problem on my own computer, and his is a lot better than mine...

You know...I think if Capcom had put more effort into it, and used a better character selection...it would have worked...I mean...only 4 delegates per game isn't a good representation of the games...there should have been more...the use of the exact sprite from the game represented (well...thats kinda false since the SF2 sprites are the CVS sprites...save for a redrawn face for alpha zangief) makes for a big mess...it feels like you're playing mugen, and paid for it...I just think they should have chosen a sprite scheme, and worked with that instead...while retaining the moves that went with each character...and added more characters from each game...but not so many that its the entire game in another game... I can only see playing this to experience more Warzard/Red Earth characters...since prior to this games release, we only got to see Tessa (who appeared in SVC:Chaos and Pocket Fighter/Super Gem Fighter) my question to you is this...what if, for the SF2 crew, they had used the SF2 sprites rather than the CVS/Alpha sprites...would it piss you off? moreso, would it suprise you? I want to rent it at least, to form a more valid opinion...but I don't see myself ever owning it...I just wish capcom would make a new fighter at all...2-d or 3-d...just some new faces, you know? ...on a sidenote...to those bitching about the bitching...we have more of a right to biatch than any of these new school graphics whores...we were around during the conception of fighting games...we know how they evolved...what made positive progress, and what made negative process...we know what makes a good fighter, and we're quite tired of the current state of things in the fighting department...Gryph, Fatal, K' Dash, Gamecop, Garage ink, myself, and the rest of them...you all better friggin' RESPECT US!!! ...yes fatal...I have returned...

Killer Instinct...both games had good soundtracks, although the first was better than the second...and is it just me, or was eyedol's death in the arcade a bit DRAWN OUT!?! ...as for the fighting system...it was a nice idea...but something just wasn't right...I'm suprised I didn't see more infinites for the game...(just saw that cinder/meltdown one...) ...another good thing...KI had probably one of the best announcers ever...ULTRAAAAAA COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOO!!! and instant sh-t talk stoppers with the c-c-c-c-combo breakers... ...best fighter ever? no...but it was a good effort from our side of the world

What about the bosses though? don't they die because of the storyline?
-
Yeah what's with the kiddo stuff?....homie Kiddo is one of my words...get over it...
-
its like this for me... Gameplay before everything else...if the controls are crap...whats the point? if the play system gets redundant before it should...where's the fun? Then the story...depending on the type of game, its just icing on the cake...but if you're gonna attempt a story...it better be something GOOD, know what I mean? Then the music...music sets the mood like no other...I hate when companies make games with damn near NO MUSIC in them...*cough* TOMB RAIDER*cough* (KoF is the only exception to this...because 1997 just felt right, damn it!) Graphics are last to me...because, lets face it...who wants pretty sh--t? I sure as f--ck DON'T...
-
Tell me somethin' kiddos...how much of a role do the 4 elements of gaming play to you? 1 - Music 2 - Plot 3 - Graphics 4 - Gameplay (note...the above is just listing what I feel the 4 elements are...thats not the order in which I perfer them...nor do you have to just "list"...feel free to elaborate if you like...)
-
I'm undecided...all I know is my mom is playing Splinter Cell like CRAZY on the XBOX...as a matter of fact...she's playing it RIGHT NOW... ...what about manhunt though? wasn't that a stealth game as well?
-
...crap man...who DIDN'T? finding out -Violence- was a guy was like finding out Samus Aran was a chick in the first Metroid (GREEN HAIR MOFO!) I never thought of -VIOLENCE- as a girl. Sure, some girlish features, but that's it. I take it back...Metal Slug Mummy Man didn't...

...crap man...who DIDN'T? finding out -Violence- was a guy was like finding out Samus Aran was a chick in the first Metroid (GREEN HAIR MOFO!) Yeah, that was kinda freaky at first. ...exactly...exactly...
