With so many forums out there, I would think it would be track down people such as that "emulate" loser. Of course even I was highly suspicious of that guys ranting. No self respecting emu author would behave like that... They must honestly have no life pull shite like this....just so they can get attention and have newbs grovel at their feet. That's the worst part...and the idiots who believe them blindly.

Yo K' which version of EAC should I get. It's kind of weird. I'm not an "experienced" user so I don't want the beta. But it looks like all the versions there are beta or prebeta...kind of confusing.

College takes up alot of my time. I'm usually an avid reader but as someone already mentioned college relegates that to a lesser priority. Am also a big anime fan...although I'm not rabid about it. Like to watch soccer, basketball, and extreme sports (X-games type stuff, skateboarding etc). Enjoy watching movies, listening to music (J-pop/rock, Modern classical, R&B, a little rap), and try playing some on my keyboard. Spend alot of time on my comp...since I bought it. I'm slowy turning into a computer zombie like Agozer.

Which is better. WMP ripped it at 320kbps. I also ripped it using Itunes, and it did it at 192kbps. I honestly can't hear any difference...but technically speaking what has better quality?

Well, I just burned it with Itunes. Then WMP started ripping it (thought it was disabled, apparently not K'). It's in mp3 format so problem solved. Thanks for the help, and I'll be sure to grab EAC.

Being fed up with corrupt files on Kazaa, I decided to put the Itunes program to use and buy a song for a buck. I didn't know that it would be in MP4 format. So I did some googling and found some resources. Generally the easiest thing to do is to burn the file as an audio cd, then rip it back into mp3. Tried doing this using the software with my comp. I then attempted to rip it with WMP but it didn't work (file was unplayable). I found a thread dealing with this issue. Someone reccomended this program Xilisoft Audio Converter as a solution. Just wanted to know if anyone else has any tips or solutions, or else I'll go ahead and try Xilisoft... EDIT: Sorry...the file type is M4P. I tried the Xilisoft program along with Solution three (refer to the instructions on the page). After executing in cmd, the message said "Only works on files for which you have a valid playback key." Don't know what exactly that means, as I aquired the song legally...

Existenz was overshadowd by The Matrix since they came out the same year. For those who don't know, Existenz is a sci-fi thriller written/directed by David Cronenberg, starring Jude Law. I think Existenz is more intelligently written, and the characters are fleshed out. It is said that it was a response to the Matrix, but I think it's a step above it in its question of at what's real and what's not. I saw Donnie Darko not to long ago, so I'm still trying to get my head around it. All I can say is it's a weird movie, and many disagree on whether its deeply philosophical or utter trash dressed up to look that way. I liked the film, found it hilarious, but its obvious that there is more to the film than meets the eye. Liked the end song to it..Mad World. Very poignant..

I was thinking of signing up, what with people throwing invites around. But I honestly don't need a gig of space. And I have enough email accounts lieing around. And news of this revelation is troubling....I wonder how Google will wiggle out of this one.

Hmmm...those comparisons are eerily similar. Nice find...I was blown away the first time I saw the Matrix. It's good right to the very end. And being the first in the series it sets the bar high. Reloaed and Revolutions were a letdown for sure, but The Matrix is one of the few movies I can watch over and over again. Haven't seen Dark City, but I remember seeing the previews way back when and wanting to see it. Think I'll rent it after finals week is over...

Pretty cool game...I was doing head shots with the regular pistol hahahaa...1040 was my best so far. We have a similar game like that on the arcade.
