the only emu that i know of is a nes emu,called nescafe.but this emu was done through streaming through a pc,t think.the 360 still hasnt been fully cracked yet,backups just now im afraid. seeing as the xbox plays xbox1 games i was always hoping that someone could try and find a way to play the xbox1 emus on the 360,but that would be a big IF.

no not at all bk ive been into emulation on and off for the past seven years,its just that ive always preffered playing the arcade games mostly,ive got the full romset for xbox mame about 5000 roms give or take,so i think its gonna be awhile before they dry up.

is most of your gaming time just now made up of playing emulated games or do you mostly play your ps2,360,ps3 or pc games. i find myself playing emulation mostly,dunno why i just cant get enough of the arcade games just now.havent looked at my ps2,dc,gamecube or any other machine for months. if you are playing any emulated games just now list em. currently getting my ass kicked on sfa3,streetfighter3 3s,super contra and raiden fighters2(2000).

neogeo battle coliseum is brilliant,got it on the ps2 but i still like cvs2 on the dreamcast better. if only we could get naomi emulation and atomiswave,i like all the ports of these games but you cant beat the real thing.

how are you getting on with fba pro?

ok ill give that a go .. i think in the later version HD was supported but ill test those roms on the earlier version see what happens cheers well managed to find the latest version of FBA XXX here *Snip* if im not allowed to put that up please remove .. kof2002 and kof2000 roms work ok in this version but certain roms like mslug5 dont even show , i suppose they arnt supported in this version , also i noticed if i put this version in 720p all the rom list are out like they dont fit on the screen properly , so for example my neo roms would be listed under cps2 roms and the set up menu wont fit on the screen properly either the sound clicks abit too , ive been messy around with this all day now , i think ill just stick with the old v1.26 pro version becasue that displays HD video and sound properly and i just wont boot the roms that dont work fumanchu : i thank you for all your help , cheers mate you need to go into the options and change the menu set up,then your neogeo roms should be in the correct folder.

i really am likeing the look of this game and it certainly looks like its getting played on 2d field so its a from me.while to wait yet though.

well you can try the 07_06 version coz if i remember it was just a few bug fixes in the newest version.

ahh ok nevermind .. thanks very much for doing that .. i must be going mad tho as i can not find 2007 fbaxxx on xbins , in the main folder there is fba pro xxx v1.28 and fbaxxx_18_07_06.rar looked all through the old folders too and cant find it in there either i just typed fba on the search engine at the top and it was second from the top

i messed around with the controller settings and all i could do was assign kkk or ppp to another button. no luck there.

the thing with fbaxx pro is that every time it gets updated then you have to use the most current roms. ive got an older version of pro and all my neogeo roms work fine,i then downloaded fbaxxxpro just to try it out and i got the same as you,saying the files were named wrong or werent there.if i were you i would download fbaxxx(2007) this isnt pro and is a more up to date emu than pro1.28,which was released last year i think.you could give that a try. hi ok is that on xbins ? also did you see my post about the buttons ? did you manage to get your roms working?

shmups like strikers 1945 2and3 have got some frameskipping,i just turn the sound off and it runs really well,the kaneko shooters like stormblade,vasara1,2and changeairblade run really well i think. the xbox is a great emulation machine,i think the authors of the emus have worked minor miricales getting mame even to the stage its at just now on the box.heres hoping someone can update the core past 0.84.its a big ask i know but we can always hope,i would love to be able to play the raiden fighters trilogy on the xbox.

have you tried changing the region in the options menu,ie japanese nstc,usa nstc?

i have mameox128 plus on my hdd,but i also want to have mameox hyper streetfighter edition.the problem though is the gamesaves,apparently you cant run 2 different versions of mameox as it deletes your mameox saves.this isnt a problem with mamedox,as you can have mameox and mamedox on your hdd and your saves dont get affected. so any advice.

ive got all the versions of king of fighters and for whatever reason i just seem to enjoy playing neowave the best,dunno why.most people seem to say kof98 is the best.
