you said in your last post that you burned my download in this thread to disc,did you tun the file foler into a xbox iso with qwix 101 first? also does the neogeo section in kawax give you a black screen as well? because if not then this is very weird. edit/i just remembered when you are in game and you click on the right thumbstick and the ingame options come up.the screen can also be adjusted with the left thumb stick as well.you might want to try that.

take a look inside the kawax folder in your xbox hdd and see if there are files inside on of the folders in the kawax emu which are/end with .ini if there is then delete those ini files and see if that makes your cps2 roms work.

you should try posting this question in the official coinops forum as i would not know where to start with that one.

Here is an upload i just finished fo9r kawax v11 and a full arcade romset. for coinops,final burn legends and mameoxtras you just need the new updates/releases,they dont need the original release.

there are several different versions of mame for xbox mameox,mamedox,mameoxtras,coinops,final burn legends is another arcade emulator. i take it you can ftp to your xbox hdd? are you just looking for several roms or a complete packagge shall we say and also how big is your xbox hdd? is your xbox hdd the stock 4gb or has it been upgraded.
