ive been getting back into the pc engine cd lately and i notice with a lot of pc engine cd downloads that you either get iso/ogg or iso/wav.i found a good app called winlame which converts ogg and wav music files to mp3 and vice versa. here is the link to download it if you want to try it. http://winlame.sourceforge.net/

IMHO This is silly, there must be like 3 people in the world with upgraded xboxes there is more than just those 3 games in the pgm driver those are the ones that interest me and i dont have an upgraded xbox either,i am talkining about adding vmm to see how they emulate on stock xboxs.

i forgot about the 64DD,a perhipal that died before it even started unfortunatly.

the people working on surreall are freakdave and weishersnitzel.....it mentions in the first post of the project feed that iso/bin and so on have been added.now we all know surreall is for n64 and not cd based format. and i also noticed something called YCE (yabause community edition)maybe?? also looking at that video i posted there is a beta version of surreall in the emu tests folder,so something might be happening hopefully. this is the post i mean..

for me its all about getting new arcade games that are not already emulated on xbox so i would go with this option. fix up final burn cores for vm i am curious to see how the pgm games like ketsui,dodonpachi dai ou jou/black lable version and espgaluga would run on an xbox.so adding vmm to those PGM shmups are top of my wishlist.

a new vid has been released. again i dont have any further info,so it is just a case of keeping fingers crossed that this is the real deal.

if recalhorn uses 69mb then i geuss for normal 64mb xboxs you will just have to turn on vmm and mess around with the settings. @bp it would be good to see some of the pgm shmups working on xbox,thanks for having a stab at it.

yes patch EVERY .xbe file including the mameox.xbe.

before you try anything,try patching ALL the .xbe files with xbepatcher.this is the app i always suggest to people with problems like this. link. http://www.zshare.net/download/86114785e20d83b9/ edit/added better download link.

just remember though you have to patch ALL the .xbe files,not just the default.xbe file.

Xecuter Mod Chip Ver. 1 with an original Bios Did some digging it is a Matrix Mod Chip I think I may have a solution it sounds to me like the bios you are using is one of the very early bioses.so you might need to patch the default.xbe back to retail.there is an app that lets you do this.

here is something to try. open up coinops neogeo.zip with winrar and then open up final burn legends neogeo.zip with winrar.there should be more files in the final burn legnds neogeo.zip. just add the files from the final burn legends neogeo.zip to the coinops neogeo.zip that are not there,it might work. @donbruno Street Fighter Anniversary is based on the cps2 arcade hardware,this arcade hardware has been around since about 1995.there isnt any otehr arcade hardware emulated after this date.

did you try going into your xbox file exporer and then going to the default.xbe of coinops and hitting the A button on your controller to see if it will boot up that way. also make sure you have deleted any old coinops gamesaves in the U and T data folders in your E drive.thay are called Babe.....

crossed swords 2 plays just fine on neocdlx unleashed,played it a few times without any problems.

neogeo cd emulation on xbox is pretty good,you have 2 choices for neogeo cd emulation. 1.NeoCD-SDLx V1.01 by lantus this emulator only plays original neogeo cd games from the dvd drive,it wont backups/copies from the dvd drive or the xbox hdd. 2.NeoGeoCDLX unleashed by gogoackman this emulator is your best option as it plays neogeo cd rips from the xbox hdd or dvd drive.this emulator emulates the negeo cd really well.to play this emulator with backups your file format must be iso/mp3. the interface for this emulator is pretty bare bones there are some filters but not much.this emu is your best option. check your pm.
