  7. now why would you go and post my username. Now here are some facts for you. 1.i have only in the past released the emulator,bp would upload the sourcecode himself. 2.whenever sourcecode was released be it for coinops reignite,zsnexbox,final burn legends....any of them i uploaded them and posted the sourcecode to download sites along with the new emulators. 3.learn to use google. 4.i only ever uploaded sourcecode that bp uploaded and linked in here.all i did was reupload it and post it at more sites and i mean MORE,i did not have to BUT I DID IT,to get it out there. 5.now do not post my username in a post about sourcecode when source-code is nothing to do with me.
  8. if you want final burn legends to just display neogeo,cps2,toaplan and so on just go into the options and use the filters to display toapln or neogeo or whatever. or just put the roms for toaplan into one biuld of final burn legends and it will display just the toaplan...i dont know why you want it to launch using different default.xbes because like i said just put the roms for each manafacturer into different biulds and you are good to go. also edit the default.xbe of each different biuld of fb legends to say toaplan or whatever so it will display that name on the dash. it just seems like you are complicating things for yourself when there is such a simple solution.
  9. you need to update the parent rom of metal slug5 as i had this same problem,once you do this all the other mslug5 games work fine. like i said it is just the parent rom you need to update.
  10. to play strikers 1945 3 on coinops play it with the sound off as it will be stuttery to play.in final burn legnends it plays better but in v1.3 the emulator will give you an error message or something like that saying that there is a problem with the game. dont think this happened in fbl 1.1 as i remember could be wrong though.its just because the xbox does not have the power under the hood for the game.

  12. remember your roms need to be named the same as your preview movies so best you check and if they are named differently then i can help you there.
  13. there is an xbox karaoke player Xkaraplay which was devolped by emesli the guy who does the sega model2 emulator for pc and who also did the cpx3 emulator for xbox1. info from the readme. Here is a download for Xkaraplay a karaoke player for xbox. it was developed by emseli the guy who did the cpx3 emulator for xbox and the model2 emulator for pc which emulates games like daytona usa.....so you know its going to be good. here is a copy and paste from the read me. xKaraPlay is a Midi-Karaoke player for XBOX. It's in very early beta stage so you can expect some problems (lyrics not showing,wrong music, hangs,...) Midi-Karaoke files (usually .kar extension) are standard MIDI files (.mid) with embedded and syncronized lyrics. In order to generate the actual music from the midi stored score, the player will use SoundFont 2 banks (.sf2). Soundfont banks contain the instrument sounds and description required to play the score contained in the midi files. I've included a SoundFont bank made by merging Creative's 8MBGMGS.sf2 drums and SynerGi-8M.sf2 instruments. If you want to use a different soundfont file, just name it bank.sf2 and place it in the same directory than default.xbe. CONFIGURATION Before starting using the program you should configure the directories where you have your .kar files stored. By default the program will always read all .kar files in the same dir than default.xbe. To add more files/directories just open karaplay.ini and add Dirx=directory (where 'x' is a sequential number and 'directory' is the directory name where you stored the files.) remember than the program will always run as if the directory where default.xbe is stored is d:\ . The player also supports .kar files inside .zip files, to add a zip file, just add it to the .ini file as if it were a directory (for example: Dir3=Karaokes.zip) The player also supports a simple piano keyboard visualization that you can enable/disable with the ini option Vis. Setting Vis=1 will enable the piano visualization, Vis=0 will disable it. USAGE Once you have placed the zip contents in a directory on your xbox hard drive, have copied there all .kar/.zip files and configured the directories properly, you can start the player. When it starts you'll see a blade with a list of all songs you have configured (alphabetically sorted). Use the D-Pad UP and DOWN to move a song at a time, use LEFT TRIGGER to scroll up fast and RIGHT TRIGGER to scroll down fast. Pressing LEFT TRIGGER+DPAD UP will scroll faster, and the same for RIGHT TRIGGER+DPAD DOWN. Once you have found the song you want to play, press the A button, the blade will close and the song will start playing and the lyrics running in the bottom area. While a song is playing, you can use DPAD UP/DOWN to increase/Decrease the tone of the song and LEFT/RIGHT to decrease/increase the tempo (it's a bit buggy yet and it can crash the player easily). Pressing B button will stop the song (no pause yet, sorry). Pressing START button will show the song list again to choose another one (the current song will keep playing and the lyrics running till you select another song or stop the current one). Pressing START+BACK+LEFT TRIGGER+RIGHT TRIGGER will return you to the xbox dashboard. TODO Fix some bugs regarding missing notes. It doesn't recognize all ways of storing lyrics inside midi files. Voice analysis and melody matching (like SingStars. I'm not sure if I can record the voice in xbox).
  14. Then I'm not sure which version I'm running cuz I only see one rom path available. Hasn't this changed from release to release? I'll double check when I get home. the rompath in the advanced settings is like i said for an extra folder its under more roms or even more roms something like that. that option has been in for ages now just make sure to activate advanced settings,its in the last screen.
  15. i agree, i already have snes n genesis emu on my xbox. it would save hdd space Saving space is a big deal. Most of us will have these other console sets somewhere on our harddrives already. I finally put together a full .084 romset plus all the updates from previous coinopses and that takes me to 4300 roms. I know thats kinda ridiculous. Gratuitous even. I'll be filtering out just enough clones to make it work with the current build's limit of one rom folder. you can have 2 roms folders in coinops just edit the rompath in the advanced settings.

  19. can you not load up a disc like say slayers and that way you can check the drive via ftp and see f there are any files missing for example. i am no expert at softmodding by the way just trying to help.

  22. there are some shmups you can play in vertical mode or in other words tate mode. shikigami no shiro shikigami no shiro evo shikigami no shiro 2 psyvariar-extend edition to get the coinops vertical biuld you need to have 3 posts,after that your pm is activated.then you can get the vert biuld via pm.

  24. if your still looking for suggstions for snes games then the games i would like to see which are not on the list and are arcade style games. Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius released in 1995 a game that was never released in arcades but was a snes exclusive in japan until it made it into the parodius double pack which was releasd for ps1 and saturn in japan. nightmare busters never released but finished rom was dumped recently marchen cotton adventure 100% japanese exclusive hagane aracde style run n gun/platforrmer much like strider demons crest rtype3 third lightning
