battletoads works fine for me on r3. showcase is basically the r2 emulator with 850roms and videos,r3 is an upgrade with new games and new videos obviously.

In MAWS Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (China) is reported as a clone of Raiden Fighters 2 http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/romset/rdft22kc The SFA3 service mode didn't work on older version of ReIgnite too (even on Ignite and Gold if I remember well) you can get access to selecting your game region in the cheats menu and i noticed that if you map the service mode to another button it starts to insert credits. just one of things then i suppose as i never really mess around with the settings myself.

Thanks for your answer! I clearly overlooked the posts about screenshots and b.rap boys glitches - sorry! About Raiden Fighters 2, I knew that the chinese bootleg Raiden Fighters 2 - 2000 (set name rdft22kc) was working, but I thought that the parent set was added too. Maybe I just misunderstood. And about Street Fighter Alpha 3, you're right, it's not a big deal, but since you can't enter service mode you can't change all options (time, difficulty...), not just toggle free play. And beside that, it's a bug that you can't enter service mode, so I thought to point it out. no need to apologise. raiden fighters2(2000) dosent have a parent rom as far as i know. could you enter service mode in earlier versions of reignite??

"Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder" Thats fantastic, I always wanted that game to run without any glitches in coinops, I hope iq_132 you sort it, and get it running full speed Myself being a huge Golden Axe fan this is good news. Keep up the great work. +1 great game,so good to see it getting fixed cheers.

concerning the screenhots go into your videos folder and you will find them there then just move them to your screenshots folder.Bp already knows about heavy smash. raiden fighters 2 works just fine for me,you need the rom called raiden fighters2(2000) B rap boys they alreay know about the glitches, check the first post in the thread. as for streetfighter alpha 3 is it really that big a deal as you can play it just fine just means you dont have to put in any credits.
-
if it didnt scan for roms then you didnt delete your gamesave,no one else is having problems like this.
-
i am presuming you overwrote r2 with r3. delete the emu and the gamesave and do a clean install it will work after that.keep your roms, videos and screenshots obviously.
-
Easier yet, unzip this and put it in the nvram directory. thanks iq thats better,no messing around. @Drdystopia yeah i would think you need more posts,i will upload the attatchment and post it here. here is the attatchment iq 132 uploaded. http://www.mediafire.com/?b4uj9yzc0tl

just remap the service mode to any controller button and then press it and then choose game mode.

its the first one/

Night slashers works fine. If you are trying to use the blood version turn on VMM in the advanced settings.
-
bugs report heavy smash-just hangs at the load screen. great 1000 miles rally(gtmrusa)-loads up fine then you start a race and you get sprite glitching and some of the houses are missing. twin action-dosent show up on the romlist once you add the rom. edit to add/im geussing you know about the bugs with twin action and heavy smash bp as i see they arent on the list in the first post.

to do this,go to programmes and then basically just point xbmc in the direction of your coinops folder,it will let you browse to it.where it says add folder in your programmes or something like that. I tried that but i cant choose an individual file, i get all the subfolders there as well - if my wife would let up i could add a screenshot . Also, which PC emulator will work with the roms from the links you sent me ? I got the shortcut sorted out a couple of weeks ago, added a folder to programs so now i have programs>games>coinops and it works nicely. I minor annoyance i have is when playing 2 player games (most Galaga with the wife) we both have to use the same controller even though to selct 2 players i have to use the 2nd controller ? in the arcade galaga never came with 2 joysticks just the one for 2 player so yo will just have to stick with it.

ok all pms are up to date. @shin gouki you need 3 osts to activate your pm,then you can be sent a link to r3.
-
ok pms have been sent. couple of things in Avengers In Galactic Storm when the game loads it will ask you to enter the test screen,to do this just go into your ingame settings by pressing back and white.then go to remap controller and look for the service mode.map it to say back trigger and then leave the options.then hit the button you mapped the test screen and then go to the option that says game mode and it will start. also for night slashers japanese version(blood) just go into your options and in advanced settings turn on vmm(virtual memory).if you do not do this then you will out of memory failure on the loading screen.
-
right thats it uploaded.the only kaneko game that i found that needs updating is great 1000 mile rally us version. quick review night slashers-excellent game especially the japanese version a little bit of blood goes a long way(tip turn on vmm to play the japanes version as you will get a out of memory error if you dont) skull fang-a great shooter with good graphics, another excellent addition. bonks adventure-plays really well and has some great tunes b rap boys-if you thought dj boy was mental just wait until you play this.an excellent game. hats off to iq 132 and bp for these great games

r3 will be uploaded in about 90 mins so have a bit of patience.

leave the sound in on gunnail bp,i prefer to have sound than no sound at all. also 4 game suggestions for iq 132 Denjin makai-prequel to guardians. info TODO: Protecttion Bugs: [possible] Palette Ram format correct, but color offset wrong? Source (ID 02433) WIP: 25th May 2008: David Haywood - I've been working on improving Denjin Makai recently, but that one hardly uses the COPX-02 protection (only for the score calculation between rounds and some timer countdowns) so the improvements seen in that in the last couple of releases don't reflect progress on the protection emulation. 0.125: David Haywood added extra tile banking and layer enable for Denjin Makai. 0.124u5: Added dipswitches 'Coin A', 'Coin B' and 'Unknown'. 0.124u3: Guru added good Denjin Makai gfx2 rom ($0). 0.124u2: Fixed gfx1/2 rom loading. Added 15x 'Unknown' dipswitches. 0.111u4: Changed visible area to 320x256 and fixed gfx2 rom loading. 0.79: Guru added Denjin Makai (Banpresto 1993). 15th January 2004: Guru - Denjin-Makai (Banpresto 1994, on Legionairre hardware) arrived from Japan. Thunder heroes info 0.111u4: Added 'Free Play' dipswitch. 0.111u3: Guru added Thunder Heroes (Primetek Investments 2001). 25th September 2006: Guru - Thunder Heroes arrived a few days ago from Japan with the latest PCB shipment. Thanks to Dyq and BNathan for the funds used to purchase most of the Mahjong games Fantasy zone 2 info 0.74u2 [David Haywood, Charles Macdonald, Stephane Humbert, Mike Beaver] 0.37b16 [David Haywood, Charles Macdonald, Stephane Humbert, Mike Beaver] NOTE: It is ESSENTIAL we find a Fantasy Zone 2 board in working condition AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, the batteries on these are dying at an ever increasing rate. WIP: 0.113u3: David Haywood replaced old Sega System E driver with new one based on HazeMD. Nicola Salmoria added proper MC8123 decryption code and MC-8123B 317-0057.key to Fantasy Zone 2 - Game now playable. Changed clock speed of the 2x SN76496 to 3579540 Hz. Fixed cpu1 rom loading and added dipswitches 'Coin A/B', 'Demo Sounds', 'Lives', 'Timer', 'Difficulty' and 'Unused'. 15th March 2007: David Haywood - Nicola found a weakness in the way Sega generated their keys for the M8123 which made decrypting Fantasy Zone 2 and Opa Opa much easier than anybody had expected. Both games (running on the System E arcade platform) work fine with the SMS emulation from HazeMD. I need to port this over to MAME so that they work properly in MAME too. Aaron should be thanked too for noticing that the FD1094 keys were generated by a Psuedo-Random number generator rather than actually being Random, this was also found to apply to the MC8123 and was the basis of Nicola's work. 14th March 2007: R. Belmont - Nicola has fully cracked the Sega MC8123 encrypted CPU. This means, among other things, that games like Opa Opa and Fantasy Zone 2 now run. MAMEdev was afraid those games might be lost forever, since no working examples were known, but now they'll be back to life. 0.100u4: Fixed rom names. 0.74u2: Added Fantasy Zone 2 (Sega 1988). - 0.37b16: David Haywood added Fantasy Zone 2 (Testdriver).
