Wachacaca lol. Hmm that theory makes ALOT of sense. Alot. But... But I recall everyone (actors in 1st matrix) saying they (wachacaca) were so wrapped around the idea... they made it sound like it was indeed their project. But, what you say makes alot of sense. The 2nd and 3rd were... trash then rubbish. Awesome, those guys are funny!

Yes but even if the third one didn't lower the quality, the fact that the Matrix was in a way more sci-fantasy than anything makes Inception seem better, to me at least. I don't want to spoil too much for you but being in a dream, some director's (like the Wachowsky's) might see that as incentive to get very other-worldly and alien, which they did with the Matrix but Inception has to me a fine balance between abstract and realistic, the same way Nolan treated Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. He didn't go over the top like some director's choose to but treated it cleverly abstract enough with other methods not relying on intense computer effects that made it flashy. This one movie was better than all three Matrix movies and it didn't need super kung-fu to do it. If you disagree with me though I think I can understand why, because its a very complex movie. Well that gives me high hopes then! Im more excited now. Ya see, there is an issue with gimmicks and hype. Although I would like to make a ridiculously awesome movie with fight scenes, that would absolutely topple the Matrix. Think the best Dragon Ball fight scenes mixed with Ong Bak, Naruto, Bleach, and Fist of the Northstar. On crack. Yea... Thats what I would do. But that does not make a movie. Not in the least. What you say makes me want to see the movie so much more as I am sick and tired of movies filled with gimmicks and 'over the top" action scenes. I NEED something with depth. That is the main factor missing in most movies. Depth, of course can be translated into all aspects. Action scenes, story-plot developments/plot devices. Ohhhh how I hate shabby plot devices. And flash is generally used to mask these faults. Ya know... how badass would matrix have been if they didnt drop the ball on 2 and pop the ball on 3? What if... Bruce Lee was still alive and he directed the fight scenes for instance. If he were alive, he would have evolved the action scenes of movies well beyond what they are today. Matrix #1. Neo runs up a beam and backflips. Horrible wire work. Didnt look close to cool enough. I would have said "cut" One of my issues with the Matrix, is no one had the feel of badassness. Tru awesomeness. Suffice to say if I were in the matrix, I woulda been Dragon Ball Z and King of the Northstar on their asses. Sure sure copyright infringement bla bla, but my point is... no one was epic, to me of course. Thats the problem. Everything seems to be half assed. An exception, Avatar (Blue people). A 3D movie that wasnt gimmicky. They used state of the art 3D cameras and made a truly 3D movie. (not pop up book 3d) They took it seriously. No swords flying at the screens (New Resident Evil) no spear in your face (Beowulf) The director or whoever musta said, "Ya know... lets make a 3D movie thats good. No bullshit swords flying at the screen..." The movie was great in my opinion. The story was decent... but the progression and the lack of Bullshit, and mainly the fact that the movie was visually DEEP. Everything had depth, everything. True depth, not that bullshit pop up 3D that Clash of the titans remake used. I hate hate hate it when they use gimicks like that. "I know, lets make it 3D and everyone will want to see it! Its the new thing... again... again. Um... but lets not make it real 3D, that would be too good for our shit movie" There I go again... crushing walls of text. So yea... awesome, Inception sounds like its gonna be good.

can i have one lol Hey... I know its been awhile but you contracted me to build you one like mine. You know... the one I STILL havent built lol. It would cost about the same but be better than the TE. So says William. If you remember, its the placement of the buttons on most sticks that I think are stupid. they are not ergonomically placed. I will build it soon and show all of you just how awesome it is. Other than gaming... I have nothing else to do. Anyway Wizard, Im assuming you have a gold acct? I figure your pretty good at fighters, judging by your perception of details. I hope to see you online when it comes out!

Well I wouldnt exactly call that being a cheapskate. I am addicted to games, but more recently, I have wondered if Im more addicted to possessing them rather than playing them. Also, how can one know if a game is truly good or not. My friend has a Cycolo and well, tons of games. Games I didnt even realize existed. And thats how it was when I emulated everything old school. Found gems in the rough. With so many games out there, how can one get them all? Although I cannot justify emulating... I do it none the less. But my stuff has been old. The reason I dont mod my 360 is obvious, but I dont have that reason for the DS. Although, when it comes to great games, Id end up buying them. If I had a cycolo or whatever, Id have ended up buying DQIX simply because its DQ, and I must support great games. I may just yet get a card and get some games but Im not sweating it. Emulating is awesome, obviously everyone here knows that. But its a damn shame. I dont know the extent but with so many people emulating, it takes a significant chunk out of the pockets of the companies, fundimentally of course. Look at EA. Just a few years ago they bought up a whole hell of alot of companies cause they were feeling effects of our poor economy. Hard to keep afloat. Well EA suffered the same and not too long ago closed the doors on a great many of those companies. There are alot of shit games. The economy sucks. If these and other events continue, whatll become of gaming? I wouldnt feel bad if someone hurt the sales of shit games, but when it comes to games like DQIX, it just isnt right. That game is GREAT and I hate to think how many didnt sell cause you can just pop it in a card. But thats not what this was about. My DS isnt fail because I got big ass hands, and I need something that fits. This thing is WIN.

Simply. How do I put this... both of you are imbeciles. "simply" dummies. Honestly... First of all I was using the busted 'ole DS. The original. I cannot convey how dim the screen was. For instance, I couldnt go outside in daylight and play, thought that was normal. Secondly the battery was almost shot. Third... R4 is inferior, so using one is "fail". Cycolo you cheap bastard. I can keep going so Im not gonna number my points... Big screens, Bright screens, BIG SHELL (Im a big guy and holding the FAGGOT ASS DS LITE is a pain in the ass...) like I said, feels like Im texting on my phone. Yadda yadda yadda The POINT of me getting an upgrade WAS and is apparent. IF a card wouldnt work in my DS, who gives a fuck. But... Yes, you need to get a new card, the old wont work, boo hoo. There are multiple cards for the "i" series DS. So... are you talking about the fact that you spent too much on your shitty ass R4? If I recall you spent somewhere around $45 for that junk. Yer likely having issues playing newer games, no? I heard DQIX is one such game. Anyway, gives one the chance to buy a quality product doesnt it? So yea, I didnt want any other DS's cause there too fucking small. And I had to get a new one cause my battery was failing fast. XL is, duh big. Event the screens are 93% bigger. Apparently I had to make my point 2 more times... So you sirs... are failed, and on multiple subjects. :dunce:

That SUX. Ya know, one day the internet will be so upgraded... it'll be like it was in Xenogears. It wont even be called the "internet". Think Parallel dimension that handles information.
-
Uhh thats a tall order. I Love movies like that, problem is there arent very many. Im sick of "stupid" movies, and well... thats alot of 'em But to say it was better than the Matrix Trilogy... is that accounting how the 3rd one lowered the overall average of awesomeness? I saw Avitar in 3D (Blue dudes not the Last Airbender) and it cost $11. I dont know why its so cheap over there... it was Imax3D and everything. I thought it was a great deal. I woulda seen it again, if it hadnt been for the accident in the tunnel on the last day of its showing...
-
LOL ya know, a solid gamepad woulda fixed my gripe... hate the 360 dpad. But To hell with it, I gotta learn a stick ya know. I think itll feel better... but thats perhaps because itll be new to me. I hope you will play this alot. There arent many on here that wanna play. Or at least... no one invites me. But thats fair, I never invite anyone if they are not playing what I am. Wizard, do you have a 360? I recall you saying something about possibly getting one or whatever. The more the merrier.
-
RIGHT?! It is wider than the original. Not as thick tho. I cant stand those little ds's. Felt like I was texting on my phone.
-
WTF is that?! Its no surprise you experience lag... Its you obviously. Um... U working yet? Well... up here I have 25/25 Mbps through Verison. I think our area has Fiber optics because perhaps, they layed alot for the military base near here... and decided to take advantage of it. Thank GAWD tho... 15 mbps was killing my Tekken matches. My connection is so good now, my friend in Orlando says our matches run smoother than friends than live in his local area. Im 772 miles away to boot. I can play Inky at whatever perfectly too. Id try to see how it goes in Malaysia... BUT L.S.D. is a traitor... lol It runs us around $75 a month. Yes thats alot... but split it up and its nothing. I recommend getting the Uberest connection possible when you get roommates. Its a staple methinks.
-
LOL ok ok ok. No, it isnt. But ya know what? I need something to do. The joystick only exists in my mind yet. It needs to exist, its amazing... as long as I dont fuck up. Inky, methinks you just may get MvC3. Get out yer stick... cause were gonna get alot of practice in.

Ok so I've been working with the original DS. Screen is dark, and the battery only lasts for 3 hrs now. (lots of use) Well I know the 3DS is on its way, but I have been playing Dragon Quest IX nonstop. 110+ hrs in already. I got fed up. Battery always needing recharging. Screen so dim. 2 days ago I was in Gamestop and I talked myself out of buying one. Figured id find it online. Well... I decided to hell with waiting for the perfect opportunity and went in today. Lo and behold, there is a deal. 1 of 5 games free when you buy a new one. I picked up Spirit Tracks. Yea yea I could always get a Cycolo but to hell with it. I emulate so much... but when it comes to new shit I havent. I guess its my way of contributing to the market... making sure I support the makers. Thats what I tell myself anyway heh Anyway, My old DS was lacking in so many departments I didnt even know! Now I know how dim my screen was... And now I have screens that'r almost 100% bigger, some online store, demo's I guess... Built in brain age games, camera, audio recorder, music playback, internet browser. etc etc Now, the 3DS is coming soon enough... I am so hyped. This thing is stronger than the wii, and looks better than the PSP. Sidenote, my friend suggests the emulation scene for this will be great, considering the processing power of it. But of course I'll still buy my games. 3D without glasses... That alone makes me want to see it. The games... I must own this thing. I hope I dont get spoiled though, my XL screens are 4.2 inches (106.68 mm) 3DS 3.53 inches (89.66 mm - top) 3.02 inches (76.7 mm - bottom) But anyway, this DSI XL is great. I have big hands and it fits perfectly. Its as if they made this personally for me... as no one else seems to mind the small size of the lite/dsi. I think that was one of the things that helped me make the choice to not get an upgrade. Even though the 3DS is around the corner, I dont mind shelling out the doe for this. It was a long time coming. I like DQ IX so much I had to do something.

I know i've been slacking, but I NEED to make sure my stick is built by the time this releases. Perhaps this has been covered, but... does anyone know how good the netcode will be?
-
Amaterasu? Hell yea! Just... she better kick ass! Although the game has always been "balanced" (Thanos with gems should wreck everything) Amaterasu was ridiculous!!! I miss that game, perhaps Ill pick up the DS version. EDIT: Oh, I dont know how itll work, perhaps its just cosmetic, but she does have different disks, rosaries etc. They probably just appear when doing certain moves, but ya never know, it may "stance" related like Gen, but I doubt that. Oh, and I just saw a Senpuu Hadoken going straight up from Ryu. What happened to his Shin Shouryuuken? Well I guess this covers Kens Shinryuu Ken "Ice Dragon" and Goki's Messatsu Gou Rasen.

Dante's Inferno? Didnt play. My friend said he didnt like the way the final boss... looks. Edit: just took a look on youtube. LOL

Does this help? Rock Vs 7 of 9 Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero-One

Well good for you! Biggest Companies? Awesome Indeed he has. I'll do what I need to do, hopefully I will speak with the boss sooner than later

If you describe how to take a technical driving maneuver, like drifting, it sounds confusing. It is technical but once you have done it a good amount of times you can go on how the car feels. Speed, entrance angle, when to turn your tires opposite the drift angle, when/where/how to turn the tires and apply gas/brakes if/when needed, and the same for correction if you error, etc etc alot is done in an instant. Discribing fully what happens in mere moments can take alot of time... it looks daunting on paper. Same here. Sure there is alot to consider when fighting, but once you play you see there is no other way to simplify how something is accomplished. Through practice battling becomes second nature... Like riding a bike, or... drifting Trust me, once your used to it it feels solid, tight. You have alot of control and you'll punish your enemies all the more

I was lead to believe something much different. Such as credentials. Like Ryan I have no teaching background, I was told it isnt necessary cause they are so starving for teachers. Ryan makes it seem different than what you say. Which just adds to my confusion and apprehension. But of course that just comes from ignorance. I do not know what is going on... Ryan is telling me vague things, no actual bottom line facts. And I have no word from the bossman. I knew there is alot more to the full aspects of this... but im running blind. Quite frankly im beginning to slowly pass my annoyed stage.

It is, but practically no replay value. Other than, of course, playing through the second time on the hardest difficulty. I liked alot of elements in this game, one was the rail shooter segment. I played a hell of alot of Onimusha Dawn of dreams, and of course Zelda. I remember having an issue with fluidity at first, but you'll get the hang of it. Before long you'll be having satisfying victories where you pulled of 100 different commands. Lock/sidedash while throwing something/ dash in/uppercut move with a landing attack/ popup/ stall attack/ weapon switch/ dash in (again) etc etc. There were a few times I said, out loud "Holy shit! You just got took son!!!" and so on. I agree... its missing the stuff to make it great. But Puzzles? When you say aggravating... do you mean accidently jumping into lava or somesuch? I liked the level design and puzzle style progression. I believe the combination of time tested game elements was great... even though the game isnt... its just short of great. The replay value of this game is 0. Once you beat it that second time through on nightmare or whatever for the achievements/trophies... the games appeal is shot.

GET THIS!!! My buddy found out in DQIX your birthday helps with drop rate ratio! I've been doing this for a few days now and it certainly seems like it helps. There is no mention in the guide or online... So everyday I go in and change my birthday to the current day, and go about my business.

See... Im not even sure what you mean. Ryan told me the way to go but what you say here shines light on why. He told me what, but not why exactly. I sent another message and email to Ryan, I hope I get contacted shortly. Time is running out and shit needs to get rolling. China... how amazing would that be! Imagine USA. We have everybody from everywhere. I am loosely familiar with most cultures as they are a part of us. But to go to one of the oldest civilizations and immerse myself in pure culture, landscape etc etc etc. Amazing. I want to see so many things I cant even relay how much I want this. So imagine what it means for me to restrain myself and not just jump into this. I do not believe I am acting irrationally. I am being responsible... lol somewhat. At least about this I am. I have a tendency to get caught up and I do not want to make the same mistake here... in such a life altering way. I must be sure the company is legit, that the country truly want me there and that I will have communication with my collogues. Id hate to be thrown in and be by myself... cause quite frankly that is the impression that Im getting, judging by the fact that I have not been acknowledged by the company/boss. Like I said, its just Ryan communication with me. That'd be fine if he was the head hancho.
-
I am all for this gig. There are obvious reasons to be excited. But it comes down to... not being informed or asked any questions. Ryan just recently got online after his move and sent me something. But I am focusing on the fact that I have only had dialog with Ryan, not his boss. This simple fact has me spooked. Sure it could be nothing... but for me to hop on a plane for China and Ive only really spoken to Ryan about this, surly you all can see why I see red flags. Inky made a good summarized analogy and added I understand the company is new, that could explain his sudden move, but how often would this take place. More aptly put, why exactly did he move... what is actually going on? Hey it could be nothing but this is just ANOTHER thing added to the growing list of uncertainties. I have not been in communication with the head cheese so all these things throw up red flags. Sure I could be throwing an opportunity out but I have help! They (the company) are ruining this opportunity for me. I cannot understand why I have not been communicated with!!! Where is my preliminary test... the one Ryan has no idea about. Ryans boss said I had to take some sort of test or another and Ryan is clueless. Just an example how Ryans word alone is not enough. The left hand doesnt know what the right is doing. In my imagination, I see a company that is barely holding it together. Sure thats conjecture, but what am I supposed to do or think? Say I go and I am forced to leave? HOW THE FUCK WOULD I GET BACK?! Im not some kid. I cannot run to Mommy and Daddy "help me help me" 'cause this is a bold move and it is my decision. This is not a whim kind of thing, it is a calculated move. This is one of the bad case scenarios but I know everyone can understand. Basically... I am not some jobber. I require validation AND respect. Ryan is trying best he can I suppose, but the boss needs to communicate with me. Plain and simple. If I told you, any of you not even on our side of the world and not accustomed to our way of life that I have a great job lined up for you... wouldnt you expect to have some sort of "formal" communication from said company? That is a perfect example... I am to work for a professional company, there needs to be some degree of formality, paperwork something. Stamps/ seals/ dialog/ applications/ something ANYTHING!!! But all I have is Ryan telling me what he is doing. I want to go. I know I would be a tremendous asset. Id definitely make a name for myself. But I still require facts and dialog.
