I never got past the 4th battle before, I got tired of it the couple of times I played it. You see, I never knew you could egress out of battle and keep your XP and GP!!! Im a good ways into it now. Been chipping away at the other games, basically for achievements and unlockable content. At first I was bummed... the games were at 4:3. But going into the video options for each game, there was the option to set it for 16:9. Now... I knew on emulators you can stretch it and the game did not distort. How the hell did SEGA know to format their games so they fit on wide screens... 20 years ago? If you stretch a SNES game everything is wide. Not Sega. Its as if its rendering extra screen allowing for more. How is this possible? How could they have known to do this, or rather, what reason did they format their games like so? Well anyway, I had most of the games I liked on emulators. But I moved and I dont have them with me right now. I decided to grab this because there are games id like to play... so to hell with it. It was $20 new so it was a good buy. Indeed, some of the games are bad but oh well. I never liked Golden Axe games for instance. I played the first one last night, and let me tell you... fail. Also bad, Bonanza Bros. But thats fine. Shining Force I & II, Ecco I & II, Shinobi III, Kid Chameleon, Beyond Oasis and Fantasy Stars well keep me on the game for awhile.

Well that sucks man... Id hate to rub it in further, but 3D stuff has come a long way. Avatar was badass in 3D. I wonder if there is a way to fix that? Well since you cant see 3D, perhaps you can shoot lasers out of your eyes!? There are some good games for DS but it is still lacking. In fact, the entire gaming industry is lacking. I wonder how you can play on this 3D functionality? Hmmm

Well that was way early... not portable... and shot laser beams into your eyes. They couldnt use more than one color because it would be too much for your eyes and you could go blind. Ya know... they shoulda made a gamefaq page for PSP's. There is no link no options no anything. I run searches but you already know how that went. I can't even find a mention through the K's of pages. I'm not registering so I can mention it in there forums. I just think its stupid not to have it. Sure thats extra $$ for them but since it would be a specific PSP browser... you can run ads for PSP games. If I were sony Id put ads on that! I find myself gaming in my cave but I dont have a computer in there. Sometimes I want to look something up real quick. Say... say your playing Dynasty Warriors. You want to find those super hard to obtain items that are extremely situational. Anyone who has gotten Orbs or the awesome saddle know what Im talking about. Id love to be able to pull up a guide "quickly" for it. I can browse, but the page is ugly. It works but WTF. Browsing through the psp is a pain in of itself, but also no psp functionality for the most part. I know there are a few sites that are PSP specific, I believe Gamspot is. And a friend of mine had some porn site on his. Didnt eat up his ram. But there doesnt seem to be alot of PSP love. Guess no one hardly ever uses it to browse. Id mainly use it for emulation on the go. But still.

Me? Hell no lol. I put in 92 hours on the break though. I just played through Darksiders for a change of pace. I have ALOT of grinding to do in XIII cause the $$$ needs are great. Well, I've killed over 15 adamantoise and got 7 platinum ingots and 1 Trapezohedron from them... thats a great ratio! If that keeps up, I'll do well.

My father is an Alcoholic. He is also a big dude, as in he was a body builder. Well... He lifted alot of weights, he was pretty big. Well anyway, he still eats like he used to... like I do... and the constant strain of alcohol over the years, mixed with eating habits and his age... He is a diabetic now and has to be wheeled around in a chair when he goes out. He has poor circulation and cant walk for long distances. I love food. So I understand how hard it is to either reduce the intake, or increase the incinerator... Which isnt so hard for us. We stay hearty (strong) well into "old" age. This issue was enhanced though... from the decades of alcohol abuse. So... I understand mate.

Darksiders. Just beat it. I like it. It is indeed a collection of many game elements. Zelda for starters. Then take your pick of any platform slashers... except the matter of grading your combos. They make slashing mindlessly fine... no disadvantages. Finishers like in God of War but simplified. B button when there ready to die. No real QTE, even Inky would approve. Then you have your weapons... they have one slot, and you obtain upgrades ranging from enhanced soul harvesting, increased weapon XP, HP drain, and damage upgrades, etc. The weapons gain XP for every hit and get stronger/extra defense as they level. Then you also have Wrath powers, stone skin, blades that fly out of the ground, body covered in flame (burn enemies), poison. The stone skin is by far the best, it reduces damage taken and given. My problem with a great many games, Zelda included... Is the lack of depth in combat. Rinse and repeat tactics. Ahh well. I dont like the running animation, looks silly. They should have used MoCap. Swimming too. I think the dashing is delayed after you perform one because getting away from enemies would be even easier... but still... it would be nice if you can traverse faster... when not able to ride Ruin. The game has "puzzles" like you would see in Zelda, since they have similar equipment. Nothing remotely challenging, which is a shame. I do like a good puzzle... but when was the last time any of us seen a good puzzle in a game? Far and few between. During the game, you take ALOT of damage when struck, until you get all the hidden Blood Forge armor pieces. Then you can take a nuclear blast and not sweat it... it seems alittle excessive, but my friend tells me it carries over to the Apocalyptic difficulty... so then I guess it'll work out. The story itself is alright, but nothing you havent seen, or come to expect. Story is indeed hard to keep fresh. But... This isnt too bad. There are some "holes" as in they could have elaborated on certain things alittle more. Seems more of an oops as opposed to deliberate. One thing I can say absolutely, is the character development is fantastic! Everyone looks absolutely great. The artists are spectacular. Example, Sammiel Link to his early sketch They set it up for a sequel. The game is generic in alot of ways but I like the elements they combine. I'll gladly play the 2nd.

Well your getting there. Your almost done with the forced parties. Fang is the physical damage dealer of the game. If that helps with current possible weapon upgrades... I wouldnt bother... Get some leveling then head onward. You'll waste your time if max out... DO NOT SPEND POINTS OUTSIDE YOUR MAIN!!! Im just saying. You'll attain a new crystal level soon enough... better to save up the CP. Sazh Snow and Vanille had over 800,000 CP when I beat the chapter 11 Boss. I was referring to the 3 main of each character. Not every last crystal thing. Was raping everything with a RAV+RAV+COM with Lightning, Hope and Fang. Like the book says. Managed to upgrade Lightning's Gladius to a Helter-Skelter. Once I finished everyone's last paradigm I'll move on. It's just great to easily catch up. The only hard part about it is trying to get a preemptive strike on the 3 frost bombs and 2 hoplites. Hard to tell which way bomb's are even looking. Of course, I meant once you cap the 3 main, do not spend points in secondary. Yea the bombs are hard to vector sometimes. Yea rav,rav,com is what I use. I didnt know thats the party the guide used as well, not until I read it. Lightning Fang Hope is a great team. Just wait till you beat the game and max out the main crystal grid. You will destroy shit. But its nothing without gear... thats where the real grinding comes in... money. I spent 500,000 just to be able to take enough damage from Adamantoise before I had to heal. Screw 1 Death and 20 heals.
