L.S.D. You havent even played... how can you hate it? I refused to listen to everyones whining and griping and naysaying... Turns out, I am pleased with the game. It's better than XII, I'll say that. But you have to form your own opinion. It's better than the naysayers say, IMO. It really does work. Kyo Yes its technically inferior. I have even detected audio compression overuse... But do you have a PS3? Trust me, It doesnt even matter that much, visually. The whole audio thing during some cutscenes... that is something to bitch about though. Even then, Whatever... It's FFXIII and I like it! Solidius What are you talking about? Isn't this considered real time? There are no turns, you just go when you can, if you dont select an attack, party members and enemies continue to fight.

Culture shock... in the form of bubble guts lol. It must be amazing there... viewing everything with wonder. Absolutely different than what your used to. Taller than EVERYONE. I wonder how long it'll take to even start picking up on the language. Um... you'll need to familiarize yourself with basic logographic characters I imagine. I doubt they use phonetic scripts in signs and menu's or whatever.

So, you like linear dungeons, never ending battles after battles then cutscenes then battles some more, irritating characters and limitation of controls over your party during battles?? Isnt that every FF since 6 minus linear dungeons? Dude, they are telling a story, you on the run. How can you go back when your on the run? It works mr smart ass. lol. Irritating characters? Lets make a list of NON IRRITATING FF CHARACTERS... itll be a small list... well after ffXIII that is. I like the limited control over the party. Although Id like a gambit system better, but once the battles open up... again... it works. Indeed. It works. Its only linear in the beginning I hear. Once you play the game you can plainly see linear dungeons is the only feasible way so that the game makes sense.

Well the gameplay opened up to me already... So I can only hope for more awesomeness. I woke up recently, And ate eggs in a basket and sausage... Delicious!!! About ready to fire the game up. There is something that everyone needs to know. This isnt a true spoiler... You can upgrade weapons and accessories. When Inky said dont sell any components, he wasnt kidding! Glad I followed his advice. Mainly, components are divided into two parts, organic and mechanical. There is an invisable stat that you need to be aware of. Each component gives XP to items. But the invisable stat is the multiplier. Once this value reaches 50, you gain x1.25 XP and it will tell you. It'll be listed on the item during the upgrading process. Well it grows and grows up to 500 pts, where the multiplier is x3. Now... out of the components... organic has positive multiplier value, where as mechanical actually reduces this value. Subsiquently, you'll note that organic components dont have as much XP value as mechanical. Items and components also have rank... know that lesser components (cheap) don't give as much XP to better items. Anyway, with this knowledge... Rule of thumb is use the cheapest organic components first, then more and more expensive. BUT ALSO... use these components ONE AT A TIME!!!! or at least till its at x3. If you use a bunch at once, youll get all of the xp, but at the current multiplier bonus... As for the mechanical, it would be wise to use a bunch, all at once, for a massive xp bonus. Using them all at once gives you the multiplier on the whole lot. Know that you may very well waste components as items have a level cap, and you don't know what the cap is until you actually get there. But that wont likely happen... you don't have enough resources to cap an item this early in the game. I wont divulge any more info for this... (1st) ORGANIC= ONE AT A TIME (at least until x3) (2nd) MECHANICAL= ALL AT ONCE

Correct Agozer. 11, you will soon have what you are looking for. Both gameplay and story progress in a way as to not dump everything at once. As for "levelage" you will see soon enough. Somewhere around 4-5 hrs in or so. As for the Japanese, whats up with there pigeon toed girls???? I've seen 2 in this game already and I remember Shion stood a similar way in Xenosaga.

Zee gaaame! Well Im about 6 1/2 hours in and the gameplay is good stuff, in my opinion. I foresee great battles down the road. The game looks good, considering even, that the 360 isnt running it as pretty as PS3. I detected artifacting and an audio crap out as soon as you start a new game during the cutscene. Perhaps one other place that I have noticed but not certain, so for the most part the artifacting is not an issue. And there is a bit of graininess to the game, but those are not even full complaints. I can definitely deal with this...

Awesome. I never get to eat like this, In fact, I barely dented the nachos. I fell asleep last night... I dont mind, the nachos are still awesome, just the chips are soggy. Its like a whole new dish now. So since I had so many nachoes, I didnt even crack open my snacks. Well you should be playing by now... I guess. I like it so far. Aaaaany way. I'm so full! That is the only possible answer On imageshack, when I click on an image to view (cut/paste info) there are pics on the bottom of that page that shows pictures on image shack that are related to the ones I have. At first I thought it was mere coincidence, crazy odds that my picture (singular) was linked to a pic that was from a user on this site. Then As I continued to view my pics, I noticed there were too many to be coincidence. I just started to post all the ones I recognized, as this is very strange to me. Yes, How i the hell can they link pics that were posted on the same site?!? Say the big guns had appropriate tags... (big/guns/holy shit) how then can they relate them to 3 kids sitting in a auditorium? So since their lazy, they say related pics and throw pics that were posted on the same site as well for filler material. That sucks, but at least they don't put their name on my pics... like photo bucket did.

Indeed. For breakfeast I plan on having Eggs in a basket I'll likely eat about 6 of these (not 16, this + 2 more) Sausage and Bacon I'll likely be eating very big this week. I haven't been eating much lately, so yea, I might gain a few. But I will not be inside the whole time, I intend on going hiking this week or something, check out the sights. Well lets see... I pre ordered FFXIII over 3 months ago and requested a week off from work. Time off from work is awesome enough as it is. I woke up recently and I'm now looking at my previsions. 2 bags of Frito Lay Scoops :can of Jalapeno Cheese dip :can of Bean Dip Jalapeno Doritos Crunchy Cheetos Cheddar Rits crackers Fudge covered Gram Cookies Mint Fudge covered Oreos pack of Mounds (cocanut, almonds & chocolite; candy bars) Big pack of Reeses Pieces Small pack of Wasabi & Soy Sauce Almonds Small pack of Honey Roaster Cashews Small pack of Cherry M&M's 17 cans of MT Dew 9 cans of Brisk Sweetened Iced Tea 2 cans of Orange Crush Pt of Baileys & Gold Schlager 2 Pts of Butterscotch Schnapps = Oatmeal Cookies Not to mention the MOUNTAIN of natchos that is ready to go. Ground beefs already cooked. Throw that in the oven while the game is installing, its gonna be a massive amount of goodness. And in the days to come, one can expect such goodies like these. Giant Burgers or sandwiches. Im not even trying to hear about anyones dispositions on FFXIII. XII was lacking and I really liked it anyway, I'm sure I'll like this as well. But even I cannot play something straight through a week... so I also bought Darksiders. Along with all my other games... and time to go out and do something... This week is gonna be fantastic. A much needed vacation. Time for fun!
