Well I have been playing Fallout exclusively, perhaps I should play other games like SFHD, things with pixel art. But regardless, the TV looks great. If you are looking to spend under $500 I highly suggest this TV. As I said, it beats out all other TV's in it's class... that I'm aware of at least. As with flat panel TV's, stated here, and by my friends, the sound is alittle... wanting. But thats nothing an even simple sound system can remedy. As I said, I use Turtle Beach Headphones, so the sound is that much more perfect.

I only have one concern, when playing games, I don't really notice it, but when Im in my dashboard on 360... I have jaggies. I put my box to 720p. it was set to 1080i, no difference. There was an option on the tv for enhanced edges, if anything, not much of a difference. Im not exactly sure how to classify what I'm talking about. I only notice it really when im on the dash. Its 32" at 720p, but it looks like I can easily see pixels. When I'm playing my games though I don't notice, but thats likely due to the fact that the graphics are more... well... more. Fallout 3 for instance looks fantastic. Ok this is what I'll do. I'll be using it a shit ton these next 3 days, I off of work. I'll give a better opinion about it then, but I'll leave you with this, at $449 its a fucking steal. Best bang for your buck. Rating of my TV Look for other TV's you might be interested in getting through whatever retailer and see if they were rated at this site. The link above is the Intro to the rating, they break everything down and describe whats up in the grey field. Ex. "Intro/Tour & Design/Calibration/Blacks & Whites/Color Accuracy/Motion/Viewing Effects" etc. So you can get a damn good idea of the real deal capabilities of any tv (rated on the site) I looked at the other 32" at similar cost range, and this tv has em beat.

I remember watching a friend play alittle. I have only played alittle of one wild arms game... I never had the time to play any. Perhaps one day I'll get through them. I've been playing Fallout 3 GOTY. I played alittle of my friends Fallout 3 a way back and always wanted to play it. Once I got my 360 I discovered the GOTY and been waiting all that time... I have these 3 next nights off, I requested them 1 1/2 months ago. Im not far, I played alittle bit this morning after work. I just got to Megaton so I have just a bit more to catch up to where I was. Good fun. This game is leaps better than Oblivion. Good job Bethesda.

No... there are slums in every major city. Im not certain, but it stands to reason. There are always areas divided by "class". Ghettoes, Trailer Parks, Suburban & Ritzy are everywhere. Crime comes from everywhere, not just slums. But from what I understand... DC is baaaaaaaaaaad. "Bad side of town" is a common phrase wherever your from. Indeed. besides, as I was saying, there are so many, you cant possibly get rid of them all. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.

It'll never happen. There would be a civil war. It's in the constitution. Many would see it as treason on mass scale. I know if a ban were in place, therre would STILL be guns out there. Alot of guns. Alot. It would take FOREVER to get it down to where other countries might be at. Also... I don't want anyone taking away my right or ability to fight back. But real quick, I hear rumors about America Canada and Mexico merging. If this were to happen, the constitution would be tossed out the window. I can see that scenario already, then there would be a civil war. Because if you did merge... there would be too many laws... they would have to standardize. I cannot see this working anyway. Well I live near the DC area. It's a few hours away. Anyway, I've been talking to a few guys and one actually grew up there. I wont get into why what Im saying has happened, but over time, DC has become a slum. This is where the white house is... but in the non secured areas, its a fucking wreck. It is practically a daily occurrence to hear gunshots. Which means, the President of the United States of America can hear gunshots on a regular basis... WTF is that shit. I just find it ironic. I thought anyone who doesn't know... mainly our non American friends here who might be unaware, might find that... interesting. So with this, I summon the anti gun members of the site lol. But whatever you say, since guns are so common in the US, I damn sure want one. I can say that easily since I don't have a kid ( no child to accidently hurt or kill themselves ) I want a gun for the simple reason, that its stopping power, and I want to be able to protect my loved ones if shit does hit the fan. Shit is getting worse worldwide, but for us here in the states... somethings going to break. The U.S. dollar gets thinner and thinner, and it gets harder and harder to hold on to any. The less desirable of our citizens are becoming bolder and bolder, just ask Hera.

Once the forth season hit they finally started making decent side episodes. To hell with every episode having a direct correlation to the main story. What is said about Majoras Mask isnt whining... it's vomit gurgling. But really... It's an alright game, but honestly, it felt a bit thrown together at level design at least. These games "are" worth investing your time in if you do indeed like this kinda thing. But damn if the first "3d" games are so freaking ugly. Thats why I like Link to the Past so much, although simple, it isnt ugly. Sprites are great.

Whaaaaat? I come from an age, where Zelda was one of the ONLY must have games HAHAHA "for some reason" that game sucks. It Ugly, its annoying. How many times have I restarted time and I still didn't have all the masks. It got too boring for my tastes, never beat it. OOT was great... but by todays standards... The game got it done, but you gotta have appreciation for it to get alot out of it. I remember that was one of the only things I had to play at one point. You guys MUST be young. When I was almost 7, Nintendo hit. Zelda was a must have in every household. That was 8 bit... anyway, there is no backburner, you need to play Link to the Past NOW. Emsley is right, thats a damn crime. That game gets it done. Yea Ryan, I didnt know you didn't really play Zelda much at all from our brief conversation last night. What I would suggest, is "Link to the Past" next. It's a staple in gaming. If you like Zelda games, play that.

Well the best buy add says my new tv has a contrast Ratio of 8000:1. I went through the book I have for the tv and both it and the box have no mention of the contrast ratio at all. On the official samsung site they said 15,000:1 and 30,000:1 Dynamic. Now I know how manufacturers use certain testing methods to inflate their rating... but this here is undeniable. Overall contrast ratio testing. But what evens out that advantage... is the viewing angle Viewing angle That doesnt matter at all though. It's in my room, and if I decide to chill on my bed, I can rotate the screen, it's adjustable. Im now very pleased as the other TV... the LG's LH20... was quite a disappointment after about 10 min. Edit: Oh yea, about the sound. Your right flats are notorious for shit sound. My friend never uses the tv speakers. He suggested I buy at least a cheap stereo system... but I'm in no rush as I have Turtle Beach headphones... they are pretty badass.

Well SG is a good start. Keep in mind, the first 3 seasons are kinda... boring. They build up the story just fine though. Peter Deluise directed 57 episodes and wrote alot of episodes too. You know.... 21 jump street fame Well not that I watched it... and also, it might be a bit before your time. Look at how young Depp is! Anyway, the show really picks up after season 3, but I dont recommend skipping any episodes. Shit gets really interesting and knowing all the back story makes it all the more compelling. There are 10 freaking seasons!!! Well anyway... If you end up getting sucked in, there is always Atlantis to watch after that. Then you could get into this new SG Universe thats out. Keep in mind I have not caught all the SG episodes, and only perhaps... 15 Atlantis episodes... and none of this new Universe. Anyway... speaking of Peter Deluise You can watch some Sea Quest The show... is a laugh. I'm watching these every once in awhile... just because im in your boat. Watchin Sci Fi stuff. Maaaaan there are some lame ass episodes of that shit. But also some pretty good ones too. But... mostly subpar. It has dude from Jaws and that kid from the Never Ending Story, you know, the kid that was in Side Kicks... with Chuck Norris. And I will never watch Battle Star Galactica. That show does indeed look lame. LOL Id rather watch Sea Quest. So yea, go ahead and watch SG. Give it a gooooood chance... as it tends to drag. Once season 3 or 4 hits you can tell they ramped up the show, and they did it right. The character interaction is perfect throught. Oneil is by far the coolest. (McGyver) but in the late episodes he dips, and a couple of cats from Farscape get brought in. They're perfect additions. Both are awesome! And as far as Atlantis goes, they had the mechanic chick from Firefly as a medic in later episodes, and the Doctor from Voyager as the head cheese of Atlantis also in those later episodes. The sheer magnitude of story behind everything in the SG series is enough to need to watch it... in terms of your situation. Plenty to dive into.

Hell yea the logitec Dpad is superior to the 360 Dpad. If you don't need analog, go with This Like I told you in the other thread. I have 2 and they kick ass. If only they had a straight 6 and not that 4... but anyway thy are 8.14 british pounds.

Indeed. I always rename Marle, Frog and Robo. Marle usually whatever cute girl I know when I replay, Frog is Jubei and Robo is WD40. Do you know what always bugged me? Marle doesnt use fire! But you can plainly see fire. On the box art no less...
