  1. Meh... Played the demo, but I've grown so bored of things. At least in R-Type Final, I had 100 ships to unlock.
  2. Unfortunately for you, They story is weak. And from what I saw from my friend playing earlier, painful dialog etc. I hope all the extras add up to a fun engine though. Seems decent enough to play through.
  3. I have been known to play so much, it rewires my head... like toooo much rpg's, and I dream in rpg terms. I once heard the cries of enemies at work. But I was never a danger to anyone. heh
  4. Why does that make me smile... I guess I like to hear about me breathing fire. I mean... how often does that happen?
  5. Guess your not an RPG kinda guy. That is my main focal point. The Chrono Trigger remake. DQ's. but also games Id never actually even consider. But... I have plenty of time. You on the other hand have a life. So I can understand. Perhaps you can fill it up with movies or things for your little girl and pass the baton?
  6. Well thanks anyway. How did I start? Hmmmm. I don't remember much from before I moved to NC for awhile. I remember I was really really stressed out. I remember having a cig too soon from having a previous one, and feeling extremely ill because of it. I don't really remember specifically starting. But I do remember not smoking much at all. So where I can help in this respect, is the effect on a newbee. Why did I smoke? Well apparently it was to help soothe my nerves. And... pass time... I suppose. These are not good reasons, but are there any good reasons to begin such a habbit? No. I am out of smokes right now, and am fighting the urge to head up to the store. I can totally do without, but I have this urge to do something. I have grown so accustomed to it, that it bothers me that something holds power over me.... that... is not entirely accurate. The problem is within me, not the cigarette. I have lost a part of me that is my namesake. Will. What an ironic shame. HAHAHA Peer pressure was not the cause. I believe I began with ultra lights, and kept to Marlboro lights ever since. And all the people I have been meeting of late are smokers......... guess I cannot expect less from a call center.
  7. Yea I have no idea on what the hell it truly is. But damned if I don't want one. I was mistaken. All the DQV needed to operate was an action replay code or somesuch. Not a hex alteration. Anyway, he seems to be able to run anything and everything. has some type of backdrop on there, Sam and Max. Cant remember what program is on there running the show, but I'm impressed. Of course... I still think emulation is amazing... even after all these years.
  8. Wait a second, you broke up with Explosive Misanthropy? Wow... Yes sir we are no longer. Trust me... you have no idea. *** Bamph ***
  9. I hope not... All I know is I still need to get one.
  10. Why the hell havent I jumped on this? My buddy got an 8 Gig chip for $20 on sale. plus the 45 or so on the R4, and bam. Gaming mayhem! Point and click adventures, and all the new DS titles comming out. Id even settle for a few movies in avi format for when i'm at work... As I have no other hand held device. The copyright protection for DQV was effortlessly sidestepped. Alittle hex here, alittle code there. Rediculous. I might get some actual perpetual usage out of this thing yet.
  11. WTF, networket together! Ida never immagined doing this. Yea I want to make an ultra XboX. Get EVERYTHING on it. Well then. What the hell are you gonna do to put a dent in so much space? Nevermind... Thats not important. What is important, is this ends up being enough for the time being...
  12. Well certainly... With so much space.. It would be awesome to have such a collection to stream to the 360 and such. Full Seasons of whatever show... blocks and blocks of movie categories. Might as well make use of your new toys.
  13. I smoke about a pack a day. It wasnt like this... When I smoked gonja so frequently way back when, Id go through a pack of Marlboro Lights every 3 days. When I quit the reffa, I replaced my habbit with smokes. It is a filthy habbit I wish I would just stop. I tried, but honestly... I need true desire to quit. Its more that the nicoteen. Im telling ya, I'll be just fine, then I'll get the urge to light another up. Its purely out of physical habbit. I get restless, I feel that I gotta do something. hahaha... If only I had a girl currently... HA! But then again... the urge to smoke is strongest after a few certain activities... Sometimes I smell the smoke on me... it is rank... vile. I dont doubt Roberts comment about being able to smell it from afar. It permiates everything. Skin, cloth, walls, carpet, time, space. It has on a few occasions, stained my fingers brown. Id recover so many lost minuites a day if I didnt smoke, and perhaps live longer... one things for certain, Id be more attractive, as I believe it is effecting my skin... ageing it ever so much... Teeth, overall presence. I know non smokers can smell me in close proxemity. Guess it might be hard to quit if I'm always hanging out w/ smokers.....
  14. By the time I get this, I trust you all will be practiced up??? My friends are quite good, I hope I will suprise some of you with what teqhniques I learn while training against them.
  15. Ahhh your finally back! But... this isnt pink... : )
  16. Long ago, when I just started getting into comics, I also began trying my hand at drawing. I had no real style, as I was noob. Well as time passed, my skill grew. I began looking at the art in comics more and more, analyzing and referencing them. I got better. I started getting alot of compliments. And yet I still got better. All along the way, more and more stories opened up to me... It was a great age in comics and I was right in the middle of it. Artists popped up everywhere, I started paying alittle attention to other names than from Marvel. Anyway, before I start talking about the best of the best in my eye in terms of artists, let me just say that as an old school comic guy... as in knowledge of mostly marvel up until the mid 90's, I can see older artists under a different light... as most didnt have the uber flare, but their portrayal of said characters were moving: (the good ones{which was rare}) That being said... as I grew in skill, so did my tastes. I began to really appreciate amazing art in comics. It was rare, and I needed the best of the best to further my ability in drawing. Others had a special place... but some of the ones I liked, started becoming rather annoying. Once you see someones work for awhile, you can see certain things. Strengths weaknesses, patterns. I consider these too when I see an artist. But as an artist, my critiquing is really on par. I know this is all based on opinion, but... I lived this. This was my life. That being said. Curt Swan: Don't like him. Posturing, emotional content, overall physicality. Im not going into detail, just don't think I don't like him because he isn't drawn all muscle bound. I just don't like the art at all. Who is my favorite Superman artist? I don't know. I dont like DC. But for me, this is all about the art. Jim lee: I used to read alot of Xmen. Back in 92, I remember drawing this I didn't do as well of course, but it was right when I really started to create my own style. I ended up not liking Jim Lee. Something about it, I just don't really like his work. I AGREE!!!!!!!! I HATE THIS GUY! HE IS A JOKE!!! He tries to draw muscles so much, he tries to cover his inability to draw well with them. But he fails at that too. He draws muscles that dont even exist. His posturing is waaaay off. They don't look right at all. I am editing this rant, as id go on forever. It is based on opinion... so cut him some slack. That being said... I cannot abide Rob Liefeld. Arthor Adams? HELL YEA!!! This guy was my first absolute favorite. He drew alot of Amazing Spiderman when I was really into it. Ohhhh his art is great. Who the hell drew that??? He is AMAZING!!! The light you have seen. LOL indeed he has. I know this thread was about who your favorite artist for a certain character is... And for me, it's almost the few artists whenever they dray whoever. But I must say my favorite Spiderman artist is Mark Bagley Only reason, I learned to draw from his work. His work was my foundation. But I have grown. Even though I stopped drawing, my critiquing didn't. Perhaps it is on par with what I could be doing had I not stopped. And what does that mean? That the guys I like, are absolutely phenomenal. When I begin to draw again, these guys are going to be my study material. Along with many others. So what relevance does this have in the thread? OK... Whoever these guys draw, lol, are my favorite artists for said character... No Ryan that isnt cheating... hahaha Looking through some Googles... I found My favorites, and some new ones! Arthur Adams: My first absolute favorite. He was the second artist I notticed. Hell, I didn't know he drew DC stuff. Well, good for DC. They needed some help... lol. Eric Larson: He was famous for Savage Dragon, but came over and Started drawing spider man as well. The 3rd artist I really noticed. Thats right... he did 3D works as well. Thought Id leave this right here... Now who do I like currently? Those mentioned before are great, but now we have some new guys who I am eager to study. I remember seeing some great work. It was in the Marvel Civil War. I realize I keep submitting cover art, but whatever. It's the work where they really pour it on. Michael Turnar: This guy... he is absolutely amazing. He is my favorite artist for everyone. I wish I kept drawing. Id like to think that my drawings would be similar to the ability I see here in the Hulk pic. But it is so amazing, I have my doubts on how good I could be. He is just so GOOD! I often drew poses like this (hulk) but damned if this isnt ridiculously good. The physique, the emotional content, the detail. Hands down... this IS the man.
  17. Edit: oops.. I misread the post..... heh sorry
  18. Thats where I got all my drivers... do you think I can't find a simple driver!?! Anyway... this is fantastic... unecm. Thats all I needed last night... what a waste of my time!!!
  19. Alright... thanks for the info... Indeed id does. Not sure if I saw one with that in the name... perhaps I have one but it's called something else. Well for whats it's worth... it runs fine considering. Now my next step... is to get this "unecm"
  20. Well I'm getting the same results from other drivers. Pete's 3d3 driver and so on... It laggs in the same places... I am wondering. Is it because mt pc is old.?. or is it because this is an emulation. You see cart type emulation runs perfectly fine. This is my first running disk based... and it's not perfect. Just thinking...
  21. says "missing render-texture extension" for the GL2 plugin... my best result so far is with the P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.17. Apparently this is for NO graphic board... or rather... really crappy pc's.
  22. Sweet. I downloaded a ton of plugins last night... I seem to remember OpenGL2 but I'm uncertain which version... I remember having an error that included the message... unable to locate... (something) and it closed out. I'll look again and see what I can do. Thanks Agozer. And yea Fu... I havent seen an actual ISO for any PS1 games... they all seem to be in .img format. You musta been reading about how I was trying to convert into ISO... lol. On ePSXe it appearently can read ISO too but as to which works better on ePSXe has yet to be seen. .img works just fine.
  23. Ahhhh I saw "unecm" but they were vague on what the hell it was... on top of that... once I got to this info... I already found another copy. The reason I wanted to convert into ISO... heh... was that it didn't mount, and I thought that my Daemon could only mount ISO's. Laugh all you want guys... how the hell was I supposed to know any different... So the new .img mounted fine. Star Ocean :Second Story... I havent played that game... in a very very long time. I did extract it... like Agozer said... I needed to unecm the .img to actually play it.. its like a secondary compression of sorts. I didn't know this when I posted all this... I thought I had to convert... but... I was verrrrrry wrong and ate up an entire evening learning the hard way.
