Hera's right. I'm actually going into customer service. I have delt with customers in most of my jobs. I totally understand what it is like, to get blasted with this giant crap bomb. But you gotta remember, it takes a bigger person to not say anything than countering with some .... "loud rebuttal" to put it nicely. You did what was right. Your boss... is the only person who can go against policy... it is their call, and why would YOU help someone who is going crazy on your ass!? She should have asked to speak with the manager... Look, your manager did what she did... don't take it to heart. Talk to your manager, and ask her what you might do in another situation such as this... where she will likely say... "tell them to wait just a minute while you come and get me" Anyway... good job man. Job secured! Keep your head up.

Typically yes... but I am an exception, as I am one who builds strong emotional attachments with those I meet and especially, love. I have been walked on and destroyed at my very core a few times. But I brought it upon myself... I allowed these situations to happen. Sure I cannot be blamed for alot of things that have transpired in my life, but the fact that I allowed myself to remain in said situations is key in my point. So I know first hand the main route to this lonely existence. To love, but not be loved in return.

People are gluttons for punishment. AND you can lead a horse to water.... bla bla bla. People get attachments to something... and are blinded to the truth. They often think it'll work out somehow. They often think they can fix it. But it hardly works that way. People are gonna do what they see fit. Some people are born users. Losers... They feed upon those who give them the world. They are selfish and take take take... till there is nothing left, and then take some more. It leaves one with an empty shell. You cannot grow if you continue to kill yourself at your core. You gotta live. You got to find someone who respects and loves you... instead of taking advantage of you and loving themselves. I see it all too often, and it is a sad fate. For they are likely to repeat these mistakes till it either clicks in their head (which all too often takes forever) or they die... unhappy and unloved. 'tis a pitty.

Well it is said scientific knowledge doubles each year. Well at least fundamentally... it is true. We are at an age where knowledge is easily transferred. I can start a project, and think tank it with people from around the world instantly. Distance for the most part is not an issue. So in any given field, breakthroughs are frequent and commonplace. Well this is what I came accross while looking through related videos through youtube about that exoskeleton bike. Now I have seen ALOT of variants, and alot of models similar to this produced by other companies accross the world. But this is probably the best example of advancement in exoskeleton technology. I have seen another that was finished in 05 (why bother showing the vid.) and it was a lesser version of this here... and it focused only on carry loads. It only had leg actuators. But this is likely the evolution from that prior design. As you see, they are working on this tech for armored suits. Hey Gryph... real life "Power Armor" sweeeet! Now years and years back... this was IMPOSSIBLE. But now... look at it. Most impressive was when it was shoved really hard by the guy, and when it was slipping on the ice. Absolutely fantastic. That jumping stunt was a real big deal too. I'm sure they can make that work alot better though. But imagine this... 10 years from now... fully integrated and adaptive balancing algorithms. Miniaturized... everything, power source etc. etc. State of the art armor, and weapons. Multiple visual functions... infra red, night vision, ultra zoom. Id imagine the weapons to be calibrated to a very accurate degree. Imagine this thing coming out of the woods like a bat out of hell... what are you gonna do? It would freak the sh!t out of me!!! More than some crazy man armed with a shotgun and machete... with blood pouring from his mouth jumping out of my shower while I take a sh!t. What the hell are you gonna do to an armed, and armored version of this thing? It looks creepy as hell too! When it was vieing for balance on the ice... it seemed almost alive. Like they actually plugged a biological brain into the damn thing... which I wouldn't put it past them. Robo monkeys and rat robots... I have actually seen the mechanical appendages controlled by monkey brain signals... as for the rat brain powered whatever it was... I don't even want to research it right now... Well speaking of creepy things, they should place some ultra creepy face on it to further terrorize its victims. Well that's that. Ultra cool robotics. I'm telling ya... Power Armor, and armed robot dogs... It's just like Fallout 2. So... where do I order a "Super Sledge"

Popular Science Well I saw this in a Popular Science magazine today... Of course my eyes almost popped out of my head for a split second. This is a conceptual design from Jake Loniak. I guess he was a fan of Deus Ex... but he will have to change the name... if and when they decide to begin actual designs. It seems too over the top to come to fruition, but you know what... I think it's high time we take another turn. Years ago a car that ran on electricity was laughable. Now look. Hybrids and the like actually have a market. Sure this is not even practical... but cool as hell!!! I mean... a semi robotic bike? Artificial muscles... Would anyone ever believe it... until they saw it? Well all the technology currently exists. All they need is the go-ahead... with some funding. This is no joke... If I had money top burn, Id buy one! Oh wow.... II was the absolute worst. The only reason I played.... is to continue the story. Who wants to charge 3 times or so per character... just to have decent combos!!! Charge, Charge, Charge... Uhhhhh thats no fun!!! Id love to have my ass handed to me by a girl... but it has never happened yet... except in Guitar Hero. I thought we had this discussion before in another thread? To put on weight, one eats more throughout the day, starting with tricking your body into thinking it is going to get little food throughout the day. Not for me! I'm out of shape because I choose to be... (lazy) I have never had problems building muscle. I'm a mesomorph too so that helps alot.

Bill Murray needs to get into some more movies. Sure he wont likely top Groundhog Day or Ghost Busters or The Life Aquatic... but he needs to teach these new guys something. I wonder if he can be a villan??? To Akihiro... That movie had nudity in it. Along with sexual themes and bad language.... Your teacher is bad ass!!!!!

The Life Aquatic... AWESOME!!!! Now, this is a niche movie, not many will like it. I laughed my ass off. It has Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Cate Blanchett, William Dafoe and Jeff Goldblum among many others. Not least of which... Seu Jorge. He has a few scenes where he is playing the guitar. Id actually grab the soundtrack. Who has seen this... who else likes it? I recommend watching it... just because it is so very odd, but you gotta sit through it. It is a long movie, and takes a while to get going. Bill Murray and Willam Dafoe are hilarious. I'm adding this to my list of favorite movies.

About EB... My friends and I are game FREAKS! As well we all are. Well NONE of my friends ever got hired... ever. What the hell? How many times have I seen an inept employee fumble with general game knowledge! I once asked a guy what he thought about Torok. Not the first one. Anyway, he went on about how good it is. Of course I didnt buy it, but weeks later, I read how it made the worst game of the year. I know the point is to make sales... but he didnt know jack about the game, but still tried to hype it up. Thats what they want apparently. There are some great guys and gals out there though... but still. That asshat got a job, where none of us have. Anyway. It is true... who you know and what not... but this is a numbers game. The more you advertise, the more potential buyers you have... you being for sale in this case. Well initially, you seem to have the right idea... get in their face. But I wonder... what are you aiming for? Everything? or are you being picky? Well... I would suggest pestering the crap out of the jobs you want. But sometimes that just doesn't work. Do whatever fits you. How many resumes have you submitted? estimate... Well don't let it get you down. Have a positive attitude. I have been hired twice on the spot. Right place right time I guess. Like I said... numbers game.
