Ahhhhhhhhhhhh... Well... I guess in this day, It works, as the market is flooded... BUT... You could stand to cut costs from 50 - 300+% by being ultra selective and patient. I knew a guy who built his own rig though... and still ended up spending about 5000+ dollars. Overclocked Quad with 2 gigs of DDR per core... just because. Everything he had was specifically selected to have the least amount of issues with other corresponding components. That lucky (rich ass) bastard. You stand to get a better Rig if you build it. I really really recommend it, as thats alot of money... Id want to make the most outa my buck. I'm sure there are other points to be made, for/against this idea I suppose. Just wait and see what the other members have to say... I think Cinder, and ShibatheDog would have alot of input. This thread should fill out a bit when it gets noticed.

Well I didn't compare the sites... but here is where someone once directed me for parts. Newegg This is all I can do, as functionality and such is beyond my full understanding as of now. But I know there will be alot of help from the other members, as I had a similar situation way back when.

Hey...... I had too many games on my plate... AND the Wii was flocking up, remember. It would load a game like .05% of the time. Damn first gen Wii. To hell with that paperweight. Yea EM's mom had a compilation disk, with all sorts of Zelda N64 games. She even had some remastered Ocarina of Time. The world map was the same, but the dungeons were redesigned and harder.

Since that Telecommunication bullshit happened, I have notticed an increase in spam. I just got some kinda URL via text... which I dare not type in. I also notice that people are starting to get more telemarketers calling them. Just yesterday, I had a voicemail with some guy trying to sell me a vacation package... which I thought was funny, as I just left a job doing the same thing... well not exactly... they called me. But anyway. I am broke, so I have this pre paid Tracphone. It sucks, but gets the job done as far as job's calling me back and all. Well I already got call/text from telemarketers. I somehow feel that Tracphone sold my number to telemarketers, as I have worked in the telemarketing field, And I saw alot of shady business going down. Cold call sheets that my boss couldn't explain where they came from... I am no idiot. I knew they had to come from somewhere. We had cold calls, and build our database through that. Sheets of numbers can only mean 1 thing... Since phone companies are notorious for cheating us... I.E. First two bills are what you expected... 40-70 dollars a month... then all of a sudden, your paying 100-120 a month... and you didnt do anything different. They give some mumbo jumbo about this and that... all BS and rhetoric. Hell it costs minutes to check your voicemail... what the hell is that... that isn't fair. I have the feeling that the provider, is selling the numbers... especially me and those who buy these horribly cheap ass phones. They, like everyone else, are out to make their dollar. It would not surprise me if they are selling contact sheets. Damn assholes.

So yea. I'm staying at a friends house. Well They don't have cable. So recently they bought an antenna. Well I just got done hooking it up earlier... and I cant get NBC. Quite strange, as NBC has the strongest broadcast signal... as I remember in the old days around here. So WTF.... How am I supposed to watch Heroes tonight.... It comes on in an hour... and I am stuck. Damn it. Anyone know how long it takes to decode/recode a program and end up online? Average time something takes to hit the net?????

WHAAAAAAAAAT! I can't believe what I am hearing. I cannot accept your opinion... hahahahaha that show was ridiculously boring. Sure it was darker, but how many times can I see Odo turn into a cheesy liquid pile of crap. The episodes were far too often rehashes of the same 'ole crap. Bejorans were not a good plot point. It started to get cool after Warf came around. But damn... STTNG destroys that show. I know I know it's just opinions. I can "enjoy" some DS9... but for the most part... snore fest. I just wish the fans made enough waves to bring it back when it was fresh... Damn FOX... their movies suck too... did you know they are publishing DBZ... It's gonna suck ass... IF... it is ever done. I have worked virtually everywhere in terms of experience. Customer service, retail/hardware, Telemarketing/collections/trainer, General Contractor, Food+++, Warehouse worker. I am no stranger to computers- I am a licensed Propane handler- I have my Forklift and High Low certification- I have management experience- I am familiar with inventory management/ via TELZON. I am a great handyman, as I can fix anything... I learned a great deal as a contractor... I built houses from the block up, I painted, I replaced or fixed many things, installed windows, laid shingles- worked at a hardware store, where I learned everything else I missed in contracting, repairing screens and tools and well... everything anyone brought in- worked in a warehouse where I pulled orders in house, while I pulled and organized shipments slated for next day delivery. I have worked at a few burger joints, Subway, and Taco Bell so I know my way around food macro/micro managing. I get sh!t done... plain and simple. I am a valuable employee, so I will go to the highest bidder, as I deserve it. If I gotta leave after a few weeks at wherever at just above min wage... like say 7.50 an hour... you bet your ass I'll go to Convergys at starting out... 10 an hour. Some of you may say meh... but the min wage in Florida is $6.79, where as California is $8.00. There are a few other with 8 as the min. Problem is, good jobs are hard to come by here. They really are. We have a constant flow of newcomers. We are quite diverse here. A melting pot if you will. And everyone needs to work, right? Well sometimes that means you gotta settle, if you can't find anything... Id say the average job here, is around 7.50... entry level. Just keep looking while you work. That's all... I worked with a lady at Subway... she used to be a tax adjuster... but the owners son took her job, and he was a nimrod. So she lost her job... but had to make some income. Great lady, taught me how to make awesome alcoholic punch. She did what she had to... but she finally found a job in her field of expertise, where they weren't shady... or breaking the law. She held out over other similar jobs due to her moral beliefs, and worked at crummy Subway until it came along. Ya just gotta do what you have to.

Wait... I never watched 4400... but better acting? Uhhh... The acting in Heroes is spectacular. In my opinion, but still... I get no unnatural feelings from most the actors... in season 2 though... That boy Clair meets... The flying kid, his acting was lacking. And the lines they gave them on top of the Hollywood sign... lame. I don't go after the new hotness, I watch what I like. Not that you ment it that way... I'm not interested because it's new... How many times can I watch 5th element or STTNG... Infinite I tell you. Hahahahahahaha I cant say anything about Dexter... never watched it, nor 4400. Wait... I haven't seen Curb Your Enthusiasm or The Shield either... Or.... Arrested Development. But I know the Majority of those shows are good. Seinfeld... is just annoying to me. But Sky... your just a pessimist... aren't you. Hell, you only like Heroes because of Clair... Softy...

Well I would work out as a hired gun... so to speak. I know how to handle myself, and well... handle others. But there are classes one needs to take over here. I could perhaps work at the hospital... they had a job a couple of years back... basically watching the parkinglot... driving around on a golf cart. But there are so many places near by. I will flood the area with my applications, through resume's. I am really aiming for this Converges gig. But I will not put all my eggs in one basket. I will keep my eyes open.

Well I remember when FOX canceled Firefly... I never saw it when it was on the air. But it had a fanbase, not very large, but still. The show was great, in my opinion. Fox has a habit of dropping the ball. They canceled Family guy 2 times... but people raised enough hell and brought it back. Anyway, the writer of Firefly decided to give the fans closure, and made "Serenity" which sucked ass. He had to change the story, to make it movie like. As in they killed off someone to make it have more impact. The character development was lackluster... because it was just one movie. So you didn't have an idea how the characters interact... i.e. jokes that you wouldn't understand... I'm just glad Heroes didn't suffer, but I'm sad that fans of "The Dead Zone" had to go through that.

I have submitted applications all over the place. Now I tried to call them and touch base, but all they ever give me now and days, is "we are reviewing the applications, and may call you back." Now no one likes to be called. And now and days, everything is done online. But When I actually walk in and speak to the manager directly, it is a different story. I am in their face, and I cannot be ignored. I ask for the manager, and wait. "how can I help you" I say that I have submitted an application, and am touching base as to the current situation. Since I am in their face, they see that I am actually looking to get hired, as opposed to just hoping I get a job. They see someone who wants to work. I force them to actually fill me in, as I am not just some voice on the phone. When I speak to them on the phone, (managers) they don't even ask my name, I am just 1 in 100 applicants. But when I am in front of them, they have no other choice but to actually talk to me, instead of brush me off. I am still home at this hour, as I am waiting to leave here and hit the road. I cannot afford to go into these places all sweaty. I do not have a car (it was demolished) so I either have to walk... walk to the bus and wait forever... or get a ride. Since the schedule works out well for getting a ride, for now this is what I will do. I have an appointment at converges, which is still unset. That is the job I am aiming for, but I will take the best offer I get for now, even if that means I gotta leave them next week. I just dont care, and the greater good must be accomplished. I will not fail, as I will continue to try no matter what may come. Failure is defined truly by "one who gives up" So there... Flock you world, I will be heard, and I will not be denied!!!

I have has issues. I cannot embed, and I am to understand only staff can do it? Well AkihiroZi made a thread recently, and it was embedded. Did you do this Drake? Or did someone come along and do it for you? If you did do it yourself, how did you do it? I figure someone did it for you, as I remember Gryph had to do the same for me so long ago, but I was under the assumption that it was supposed to be able to be done by all, but there were issues. Has this changed? Would there be issues if everyone were able to do it? Things I just are not aware of?
