Wait... you guys spend money on internet, but not on a digital box? I guess it is kinda expensive, but i'm not in school yet, and I don't have a family to support, like you two. I don't really like tv. But there are some shows I want to watch. It's just too far and few between. I liked having a DVR so I can just record anything Id like to catch when I have some free time, and it beat downloading them. But I am getting to the point, where downloading is happening more and more often. crap... do you know how much a box set of STTNG costs?!?!?!?!?!?! flock that, I'll download them. Although... Id sure like to have the box... I buy movies I really like... Like Grandmas Boy. I had the burn first, but I bought the movie just because... that and I want those guys to get paid for all the hard work they did... Even though the studio took the majority of the cash.... bastards. That is why I never feel so bad when I download something. I hate giving my money to those who have nothing to do with the acting and storyline. Sure their money was needed to start and fund the project, but they take an unfair share... they really do. Hence the writers strike. Asshats should have just bit the bullet, and paid 'em. But noooooooooooooooooo. We had to suffer many half assed seasons of all kinds of sh!t. Including Heroes. Poor bastards who were temp writers... they were in over they're heads.

If we were to implement this, would we run the risk of becoming tight asses? Perhaps not... but It would be interesting. A place, more desirable than spam, but still not public. Inky said ultra members, but I think Robert had a good idea. That way those like me could be a part. But there is a few problems. Main reason: Especially now. The forum is suffering from stagnancy. There just isn't alot going on in the forum. It is not how I remember it was when I joined just under a year ago. At this point, with the site not popping like it used to, we would run the risk of further choking the life out of the site. If this exclusive forum existed during a high time, what might go down? It would be a place free from bullshit, well at least at a measurable factor. We could use it to post things more freely. Conversations with a large amount of people, who share in the same idealness. (is that a word?) Conversations would be free from unwanting eyes. It has the possibility of being kinda awesome, and again, the possibility of being a train wreck. If it were invitation only, we would have to discuss possible new members. And then we would take a vote after the arguments were laid out. This brings me to another problem. Secondary reason: Favoritism. If this came to fruition, there would be those who are left out. Those who applied and were voted against. There would be a rift between members and that is NOT good. There would be posts on spam where sh!t talking would occur. But of course, that scenario, where it is more than an argument, but belittlement, would just justify why that individual wasn't voted for in the first place... But having that situation would not be pretty. I know each individual has the possibility of greatness. Life is but an endless series of choices. Often we stray from "our" path, and sometimes become someone we did not want to become. That being said, There are those who would have good insight in a conversation, but on the other side of the coin, has the ability of not being able to handle themselves well. I like the invitation only idea, but it may just be too problematic. If Inky's idea of ultra members forum came to be, It might have less issues. But I wouldn't be let in, but I'm sure in this idea, I am included. And the opposite of that, are those who are Ultra, and not desirable for said forum. I like the invite only better, but what of the ramifications. If it were implemented at a high time, what would occur. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. But thinking about it... It would have some good advantages. But then again, would it be worth it.

Ok season 3 starts tonight at 8. I hear it's going to be 3 hours. Now I'm not going to geek out over this show like so many do. I do like the show... but... What the hell are they doing? Really... The show should be called Impossible Connections. I have all the episodes on disk... AVI format. And I was at a friends house, letting him catch up on season 2. It got to the point, where I would pause the show, and say "guess the connection" I made it into a game. I should have constructed a drinking game. Every time they make a connection, take a shot. Every time you hear "I'm just looking for answers" take three shots. Every time you hear "horned rimmed glasses", take three shots. They connect anything and everything. They even make connections outside of the story. They had Sulu... so they added Ohura too. (Star Trek) They had me pausing the damn show over 3-4 times an episode, asking "what do you think the connection will be" It is quite ridiculous. We were practically rolling on the floor with laughter. "my father is the nightmare man?" What about the double connection is season 2? Mohinder just got done talking with the split personality chick... who just came from Louisiana, to head back to the exact same house she left her son at. In that case... you'd take 5 shots. EVERY EPISODE. every damn episode had MULTIPLE connections.... And the crem de la crem. (however you spell that) So what the hell, they got straight ridiculous with all of this. Now I can say, they had a writers strike, and they were trying the best that they could. Perhaps they just tried to fill the void the best they can, with so little in the way of episodes. But damn... for real... way over the top. But regardless of this, I still like the show. I wonder what the significance of the eclipse is. It must hold major weight. It started out the first season, everyone got they're abilities after the eclipse. Then in season 2, Hero witnessed an eclipse. And of course you see it in every opening sequence. What I don't understand, is how they explain that insignia, which means godsend. The little s/f looking character that was originally on the sword. It also appears on the split personality lady's right shoulder when she is in another personality other than her own. But how the hell is that even possible? They have it all over the place, further strengthening my point, that they connect EVERYTHING somehow. There should be a string theory that goes along with the plot. heh remember future Heroes little time map at the end of season 1? The actual string theory is waaaaay more complex. If I were to physically connect the plot points with string, Id have a fishing net. No... Id have a very large sheet of silk. I just came up with that, I think it's kinda funny. But I think I will enjoy season 3. The writers strike is no more, so I feel there will be balance in the flow. So... anyone here going to watch? Do we have anyone here who actually cares?

Their is just no way anyone can predict the end. But I have noticed that things get more and more horrible. History is just repeating itself, Their is so many people on the earth now, the rate at which things go down is staggering. Like Mr Anderson said, we are like a virus. We consume everything and spread... crap is going to hit the fan. Moreso than it has. It is just inevitable. crap happens. Way of the world. How many of you are going through sh!t? Alot of you. If you are good right now... I bet you know someone who is down on their luck, or going through something. crap can/will and always go bad at some point. I just hope that people understand what is really important, and that is each other, not ourselves. The worlds ... the main problem with people as a whole... is there is too much selfishness, greed etc. And as far as the end of the world goes, it could happen right this very instant... or in another 1000 years. I'm sure we are close to catastrophe almost on a weekly basis. Give or take a few days. Point is, we just cant predict when it will happen. I don't care what the Mayans thought. Although it is quite fascinating. Perhaps that is when the "aliens" come back officially, and we are to start the Star Date calendar system.... Heh... whatever.

Art is plain and simple, expression. Some people just don't have a way with words. [ judged by interpreter (individual perception) ] While others can tell a story well, or lead you along emotionally through gestures and tone of voice. So when someone makes art, be it music, words, or paintings etc., Their "version" of expression is portrayed. I can appreciate the second pic, as Inky and Gryph does, but it does not speak to me. I'm sure there are those in which the piece "speaks" to. It invokes an emotional response. I talk too much. It is the primary way I express myself. I am also an artist. I have not worked on anything in a long while though. When I start drawing again, and sharpen up my ability, I will also get into coloring. Most likely by programs, (scanned in) as well as colored pencils. My artwork, is primarily comic book looking stuff. Or perhaps graphic novel style. When I draw, I really get into it. I pour myself into it. I find myself making the same face... like clenching teeth, or angry eyebrows, when I am drawing that respective part. I literally pour myself into it. I express myself through it. I try to make everything as badass as possible. But if and when I post my work on the site, I know there will be those who don't appreciate it. It wont mean anything to them. It's like when I hear someones music. They are all into it, where I think it sounds like explosive diarrhea, filled with pop rocks, and poppers. (little paper wrapped explosive thingies) I can't get into it. I refer to whiny vocals, where the guy sounds like a wimp, "move along move along like I know you do" That crap aint art!!! But alas, that is just my opinion. Real art, in my opinion, is where someone has a need to express themselves. O.K. here is a good analogy. A musical artist(s), who loves music. And he (they) kicks ass too. It comes through in their music. Then you have those, who use their talents to make money. They are hacks, who fool the general masses (robots) with a "catchy" tune. Their material is crap to my ears, and I see through them. All the little middle school girls love them, but in actuality, they suck ass. This is how I judge art or fart. Intent, motivation, emotion. (endless list) Art: Vincent Van Gogh Fart: Mega Man box art Sure that was extreme... but my point rests. Art, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. But Someone actually got paid for the Mega Man box art... they should have been charged money instead of paid. ... Mega Mans gun is IN HIS ARM... he doesn't have a pistol. Nor does he wear a loose fitting jumpsuit. The "artist" knew nothing about what he was drawing. And he/she sucks soooo much ass... look at the position of the legs, and arms... and helmet. Hell look at how the fabric folds... it's not even close to realistic. Looks all half-assed, half is giving it too much. The palm trees don't even look right. It's absolute rubbish... I had a more elaborate description as to it's rancidness, but it was over the top, and I didn't want to censor it... so I omitted it.

Sure is! Great movie... I last watched... what was it... oh. Shutter.. made me shudder. That move was plain stupid. We laughed so many times at it's ridiculousness. Especially when you find out why his neck was hurting all that time. STAY AWAY FROM SHUTTER!!!!!

Some of Kat's tattoos are not hot in my opinion, like the faces. But I think certain tats come off as hot. On top of this... Kat is one hella cute girl. I find cute girls more attractive than "fine". Fine usually belongs to those who are asshats, their look is "i'm better than you". Also, Kat has meat on her bones... I hate the too skinny look... example: Lindsay Lohan used to look great, till she became a coke head. My buddies wife has a half sleeve on her right arm, and I don't like it. But I have seen some that are too hot. It's like a badge. Girls who get many tattoos are often secure about themselves, and a confident girl, is an attractive girl... so maybe they play off of each other. I just really don't like tattoos on boobs. Thats my thing.

HAHAHAHAHA I hate those commercials!!! They are an insult to anyone who seriously consider that career. All they bring in are morons who fall for that BULLSH|T!!! I have seen many companies of that kind, where they insult you inelegance. But obviously... Do extensive research on whatever you come across. We have a Fullsail down here in Orlando. They have state of the art equipment, The areas only floating sound room. Something about it not being effected by the environment at all. And the school is majorly expensive. Well they offer classes to both the music industry, and the gaming industry. They boast a 90% job placement ratio, but once you do your research, you realize they left out the fact, that they were only referencing the music industry side of it. Once we found out, all my friends pitched their brochures. All I'm saying, is be careful. Not that you wouldn't... I'm just saying.

I got back into Diablo II Expansion. Well I have a hero editor and I always save to file, all the set items. Well I came across a few good pieces for low level characters. I have all the info for every item in the game, and I guess I could go ahead and create all the items from scratch, but that's a major pain in the ass, and I don't want to spend that time to make each item, and double checking all the set bonuses and so forth. Does anyone know where I might find, or be able to look for a download for items in the game? I did a quick search with a few different keywords, but to no avail.

Who's the man?! That is too bad. I never knew he made those appearances.

Diablo II and Metal Combat <-- SNES

oh hell yea... they are making us wait to damn long... them and their marketing..... bastards. We need a New Tekken. I just hope it isn't broke... in terms of endless combo nonsense... cause it does look alittle cheap. Ya know... the pop up combos that chain for eternity, and the infamous wall juggle bullshit. They should impliment some kinda quick escape while hitting a wall or while in the air... like right when you get hit, you gotta hit a button that corosponds to the limb that hit you, and press back or down or whatever. Make it to where skill is involved, but chance is a factor too. I just think it was unfair... the crap I would do to people in tekken 5 with Brian Fury. Although they did balence that one move out in the PS3 version. You know... the big overhand right that bounces them off the ground!!! They made it's counter priority less BS. I know they wont do some quick escape or anything... but I just hope they have it balence3d out. I hate waiting 5 seconds till I can play again, with over a 3rd of my life gone. And do NOT give me that... "if you got hit by it, you deserve to be juggled all day long" But yea, that new guy looked pretty slick. I'll definitely change his hair though. I hope you can change the outfits... 'cause that new girls dress sucks ass, what are those Japs thinking?!?!? Ohhh the countless hours spent playing the Tekken series. I am excited once again. Well I edited my post... I had like 5 nes games but they were top down or side scrolling. When you said kinda 3d i thought you ment the 3/4 view, which none of the nes games had... I am unsure what you mean now. But I didn't extensively go into a major search, but I had like 5-6 games. Then I said to hell with it and changed the title of the thread, as to include nes/snes games... or rather as to not exclude snes.... I guess I shoulda left everything the way it was......
