  1. Hey I think thats it! Thanks man. I'll let her know soon as I get ahold of her. I'm sure that has to be it, so I will go ahead and thank you for her as well.
  2. My friends wife is trying to remember the name of a game for nes, in which you killed with your hair. She said you start out, and it's night time, and well... you attack with your hair. Anyone know this one?
  3. Ok these aren't exclusive to SNES... They were also on Sega but whatever Out of this world & Flashback
  4. In my never ending quest for games, I came across a game I have thought about time in and time out thought my life. I do not know why I did not think of them in my more recent quest for games. I remember disregarding them years back, as I was unsure of the functionality. Well I have decided to download them, and they are as fun as ever!!!! I speak of course... of Battle Clash & Metal Combat - Falcons Revenge I didn't know if Super Scope games would work, or even be fun, but I fiddled with the config/ devices in my ZSNES and it works great. I came across Battle Clash, and instantly told my friend, who had the game. He reminded me the sequel was Metal Combat, which came out during the Mortal Kombat release... he thinks it was a marketing ploy for ignorant game buyers... (parents) Anyway... we are very excited, as we had so much fun back in the day with them. We will be sure to play the 2 player on Metal Combat ASAP. Player 2 uses the controller, and is the Mech on the screen. Ohhh man I'm so excited!!!! Those were good times back then... Good times! Check 'em out!!!
  5. Dude... hair metal dudes wore form fitting clothes. Girl stile clothes... Lots of hair spray, and girly voices... The scarf in my eyes just accentuates the girly image I associate with hair or glam metal.
  6. You look like Jason Newsted. I don't agree, but I'll accept due tho it being a Metallica reference... Although I only recognize Metallica up onto the Black album, where they died off. Everything after is beyond horrible. So... JKK has surfaced. I guess you have changed a bit man. I missed alot, but damn, who saw this coming? Until I see JKKDark holding a sign that says "I LOVE 1Emulation.com" ... I'm going to have a hard time believing that's really him in the pictures. You know I totally feel you on that. But... I always pictured a skinny dude behind the monitor spamming. I just thought he would LOOK shorter. I think it is him, as it just fits the hair metal scene... which... includes the scarf.

  8. Portal... And then I hit 1Emulation.com at the top to see what is new... perhaps I should set the bookmark as such, as I have no reason for it to be at the portal... I always Hit forum... I wonder why I never thought about it before!!! Hmmmmmm.
  9. Correction. I didn't have this game so I looked for it. It is actually known as Sword of Vermilion My list of Sega games is real small, so I'm hoping this gets the job done. Thanks for the recommendation!
  10. "innuendo dive!" ok ok he doesn't actually say innuendo... but it sure sounded like it on the video... What a ninny... Wait??? was that even Tales??? I'm not sure anymore... Well all the tales games have pulled a great deal of fans... I'm sure anything would be better than... what was it called... that PS3 game................... OH yea, Enchanted Arms. Uhhhhhhhhhghghghgh
  11. Yes it is. I just played a small bit. It's a mix of different RPG styles. It has a slight grainy or dirty look to it, but it is very colorful, and alot of detail went into it. I didn't even finish the first battle, I just wanted to answer your question. I think I will like it, at least for what it is. The dialog seems to scroll unnaturally, I assume it is because of the translation. It seems a logical reason. I am sticking to my recommendation, even though I know next to nothing about it. I just have a good feeling about it. I also realize it isn't for everyone. But if you like alot 'a types of RPG's, I recommend getting it. EDIT: Removed alot of text: I talk too much heh
  12. Dude anyone who like Super Metroid needs to run a search for Super Metroid Redesign It's just a small patch you place in the rom. It's beyond amazing. The guy scratched the first 2 designs he had, because he realized some major breakthroughs. For instance, the game has the exact same number of rooms... but he learned that he can make the rooms much much much larger and have them connect anyway he sees fit. So it turned out being a complete redesign, rather than gutted rooms, with new furniture. He changed the jump physics, you don't go as far in a jump, and it is faster... so no real hangtime... zero g apex or anything... that takes a bit to get used to... It makes for more challenging gameplay. It is filled with amazing moments. The difficulty is ramped up, like certain weapons are good against certain enemies, so using ALL your weaponry is commonplace. Like using bombs on a critter you just froze... instead of wasting 3-4 missiles. Yea some enemies have major resistance to certain weapons. It is perfect. There are puzzle elements too, so figuring out what to do is quite rewarding. Just wait till you confront what is known as "the hell run" It took me a bit to figure it out... Just... please try not to read a faq. Just be Extremely observant if ever you are unsure of what to do. Hell, I haven't even beat the game yet. I got distracted and forgot to get back to it. Long story short, the game is obviously redesigned, but its from the ground up... So it's the game you know and love, but you have no idea where you are!!!! I cannot think of anything better. Anyway, there is a game I always wanted to play but just recently picked up the translated version. I musta forgot to hunt for it. I never actually played it... but I will go out on a limb and submit it... Bahamut Lagoon (J) [T-Eng].zip This version is apparently the best, as the other translated versoins were found lacking.
  13. Well usually 6 hours or so. But I have no real schedule for right now. Before I moved outta the apartment, I just couldn't get to sleep. Exhausted to no end, almost delirious. Then I would pass out, and wake up whenever. I gotta have 5-6 hours or my mind feels like its soaked in acid... kinda like a heart burn... in by brain... Am I the only one? Too much sleep is also very bad, as your body doesn't retain the excess rest. You cant really catch up on lost sleep, it doesn't work that way past an extra hour or so. 6-8 is the rule of thumb. Everyone is wired differently. Me... I just cant function properly without sleep. 4 hours all the time? screw that. Yes you can adjust to such conditions, but screw that... I once saw an experiment though. 3 guys had 3 hours of sleep a day every day. one guy got 3 hours in 1 lump... 3 hours of sleep straight. the second guy had 3 1 hour naps, and the third had 6 half hour naps. The guy with 6 naps was able to preform activities, such as ride a 10 speed around and do whatever, basically live a normal life. The other two were to fatigued to really do anything at all accept the most basic of necessities. Eat etc. So if you have a set nap you can take, you can supplement lost sleep to a degree, and function just fine without actually doing much harm to your body and mind. My parents take a 1 hour nap at like 4 pm or something. They became accustomed to doing so, and cannot get used to going without. I always though the one main thing that I would loathe in the military, is the sleep deprivation. FLOCK THAT! I need my damn sleep. Adrenaline or not, I need a clear mind and all my whit damn it.
  14. Im with this guy Cool tattoo man, I like Japaneses style inking. Where the hell is inky to critique???
  15. Yes, as you and Agozer also mentioned, it would prove to be quite expensive, along with alot of effort to coordinate everything. It would be nice thoughm to hang out with the lot of you. Put some faces to names. But honestly GC I hardly drink at all. But for the sake of social functions and events... just plain party atmosphere and all, Id be drinking. But to hell with privacy GC, I already know that you look like Kevin Spacey!!! Well... at least alot of pictures. That might be enough incentive to actually GET a karaoke machine going!! Of course you wave any privacy protection while in plain sight... meaning the video would be posted all over this forum. But am I correct to assume you would be drinking? Something tells me the Scott in you couldnt refuse. Well yea we could play mad games against each other... have a team system for whatever. But mind you, Id have other things in store as well. You see, I never been on a rollercoaster ride, short of some crappy excuse of one at Disney. Id try to arrange some Islands of Adventure and the like. Hell, Id turn it into a true blue Vacation!!! But... for gaming gurus. So naturally some of you need to get destroyed in whatever game, it's only natural. Muah-hahahahahahahaha Really though, I hope one day something like this happens. Like GC said, alot of people have been on the site forever. There are alot of good people here. It would be nice to hang out with them, just as you would any other friend.
  16. Ha... I see sky constantly playing SC4. Damn... I wish I could play. By the time I get it, everyone will destroy me. Completely.
  17. I feel you on that. I hate advertisements as a whole... They always seem to insult my intelligence. They are geared towards ... well ... stupid people who cannot think on their own. It sucks even more now, because these types of ads, are infringing our personal space. I remember those TV commercials, where there is a stripper looking girl saying "call now" what dumbass actually calls up? But ya know what, people do. sad
  18. It was just an idea I had a while back. No one has actually planned this. Something of this magnitude would actually take ALOT of effort. First, Id have to try to find the best time, in which the maximum number of people can attend. So trying to find the best window of opportunity, would be next to impossible. I can think of 3 guys here off the top of my head that have families. Gryph is extensively studying all the time. Although gryph is not far from me... And alot of others are just plain far away. Canada, Malaysia, Iceland, Australia, Scotland, UK to name a few off the top of my head. Then I gotta coordinate where everyone can stay. And since I'm not rich, I cant buy out a bunch of rooms at a Holiday Inn... And thats just for starters. One day, Id like to see this happen. But I seriously doubt I'd get the turnout that I am envisioning in my head.
  19. But hey, you never saw our roommate!!!! lol
  20. Flocking a$$hole bastards.... I don't have a 360, and I still have yet to even see this game. My buddies were playing it the other day, but I wasn't there....... Yea yea, get your practice in. I'll be live some day soon. 2 months minimum.
  21. Yea... like I said, my place! Yea right. I'm sure my roommate wouldn't like serving everyone in a bikini... And no... EM is out of the question folks.
  22. I guess I'll make a presence too. Krosigrim Although it's on my signature, I'll just make sure ya know. That way we can see who we have in full. Add me to the list brother.
  23. I played this game so much... pacifism specifically, that when I went to bed at night, I was playing the game in my head. And even now, just from looking for those videos earlier, I am still playing the music in my head, and it's been a few hours!!! The game is that damn addicting. 800 points... 10 bucks. It's a steal. Best damn 10 bucks ever spent!
