  1. I must say, I'm happy this thread is getting more attention. I see Fatal got another to join. Anyway, Thought Id make my presence here again. Sith Slayer An Awesome pic of EM... So beautiful
  2. I don't usually like Christmas music. But there are those I don't mind.
  3. I think the best actor/actress, was the cured zombie/vampire chick.........
  4. Next time, you could get them a hammer...
  5. Who is gonna cover your job? Hell, I'm getting too much sleep., to try and let this sickness pass. Perhaps you will be able to do the same.
  6. I once got a Birthday card, with $2.50 in it. What an insult, don't give me ANY money please!!!! Id rather get NO money, that 2.50 in a card. It's like, we wanted to get you something, but we don't like you at all, so here. Its like giving a waitress, a quarter as a tip. Oh yea, I once got a hammer. Was some cheapo hammer too. Funny thing is I worked at a hardware store at the time, so that made the gift, even more ridiculous. But I gotta laugh at Mooney's story. His aunt totally missed the point. A new chair perhaps? Maybe a new ergonomical keyboard. Sometimes people are clueless. Like, when someone buys a 5 dollar gift card at Subway... I wanna ask them, "WHAT THE HELL YOU CHEAP ASS!?!" That isn't enough for most 6" meals.
  7. So yea, we went to see it. Meh... It was alright. Good thing EM knew the guy at the boxoffice, saved 4 bucks... Couldn't get over the CG mustang in the beginning. It was pissing me off.
  8. Unless they decide to split the two, with unique moves. NO Just what we need, TWO Bruce Lee characters.
  9. Slept too damn much lately, so I'm up. Thinking of what I can accomplish online. Like perhaps some brushes for photoshop. Or more fonts. Maybe find something new to me. But likely, ill just logg, and play more Front Mission for the DS. Wish I was sleepy.
  10. "Christmas spirit" even under any name, is a great thing. I personally like giving gifts, as opposed to getting them. Seeing there faces when they see a gift that I put so much consideration for, is thanks enough. All my mom really wants, is to see me. Thats what it is about, and thats all that matters. ALL THAT MATTERS.
  11. Oh believe you me I understand where you are coming from. Also, I knew long ago that the 25th wasn't Jesus' birthday. Although I didn't know that tidbit, about the converting. I knew early on that Santa didn't exist, and I plan to pass the baton. But I think I found out on my own. People might think that its cute and all, little ones thinking about Santa, but I agree, it's silly. Santa = St. Nicholas: "He had a reputation for secret gift-giving, but is now commonly identified with Santa Claus." Wikipedia: St. Nicholas Heh, I like Gryphons rant there. It is true for the majority, and that is sad. But its no chore for me. Routine, yea... duh. But whatever. HAPPY HOLIDAYS
  12. Well, EM has to work. So I'm going to have Christmas dinner with my folks. Not much else planned. But there is supposed to be a big party for New Years, and I plan on getting smashed. Cause I rarely drink anymore, and all my friends are gonna be there, including those who I don't want to see, so yea, drinking is a must...... Capitalism? Whatever...... It's a time when people get together and spend time with one another. I enjoy getting gifts for people. And thats what it is all about. But... I'm only getting something for EM this year. And making something for my mom, thats it. But it's about being with those you care about. I just hope my mom doesn't play any Christmas music....... HAPPY HOLIDAYS
  13. Yea I remember these.... Yoga this, and Yoga that
  14. Sadly enough, I don't know. But, I'll ask my grandma, as she knows a great deal about that half of my family. But my father also had Scott in him, but I can't get that information easily. If I get some key names and dates, I could search my tree online. Yea, I have heard various versions, of Scottish accent. Like Chutney, with the English, I saw someone speaking on tv, and I had to read the captions to understand her. And usually I don't need to read captions when someone has a thick accent. And yea... I know what you mean about slang... a few times, I had to ask "what" with certain customers. Being in Central Florida, there are alot of tourists. So we get alot of exposure. I have always liked Scottish accent. So now you got me looking up clips on youtube. These particular guys, are weird, but I noticed, I didn't get all that they said. So yea, it's 3 in the afternoon, and it hardly warmed up at all. No... I'm not going to complain, I don't have to shovel snow, but damn... gonna freeze my arse off tonight. By the way... Flock the English.
  15. I'm glad I have one This isn't the full stack, I forgot some when I took the pic. There are so many more titles I want to pick up. And I still have yet to beat some, and hell, I haven't even played my Valarie Profile 2 yet. So not having a next gen console, is not priority. I'll wait till there are more games to play, why spend so much money, when there are only a handfull (literally)that I want to play. Perhaps that is what is going on out there too....
  16. More about Insane arms. Why would you wanna do this? Dude needs a life.
  17. Yea, when I go up north, and its cold (not snow) people are all dressed warmly, but I'm comfortable in my regular (Florida attire) jeans and a shirt. And when some come down here, and it gets cold, they are surprised... The humidity cuts into you, same goes for the hot weather. Stayed it El Paso for a couple of summers, and the dry heat felt good, while everyone local, was complaining.
  18. It has snowed once, here in Central Florida that I can remember. Melted as it hit the ground.... was extreemly light. same here in scotland, there frost all over the ground, everything is just ice but no snow yet! O WOW!!! Scotland? Awesome! Always wanted to visit, as I am 1/3 Scottish. No clue as to my family line though. Now I'm going to imagine an accent, when I read your posts... Anyway, I guess I can't complain now. 2 nights ago, My window in the bedroom was open, and I was sweating. Reaperman asked me how the storm was, as he lives just north of me, and the cold front created an overnight storm. He said something about cold weather and I thought he was flocking around. Now my fingers are flocking frozen, and I gotta huddle when I get a cigarette outside. When your from a hot area, when it drops real quick, you really feel it. And on top of that, its Florida, and the humidity, makes the cold cut straight to the bone. My fingers are kinda numb, as I haven't turned on the heat. (save cash) But yea, I guess I can't complain...
  19. Well, I'm such a procrastinator,(Holly crap I didn't misspell it.....) But I'm so strapped for cash.... (I don't own a PSP) By the time I get cash flowing again, I'll likely have forgotten. Perhaps I need to make a list of things I wish to accomplish...
  20. FM 4 was the first one I played, and I liked it. So I have no Idea about any other gameplay. I liked it... And you say, they are NOT bringing it out over here? Bastards....... 4 didnt sell well. I bought a New copy, in the celifane from gamestop, for 20 bucks. And FM DS was 20 bucks, so there isnt a demand. Damn bastards...... Thats the problem with companies. If the profit isnt enough, they dont bother. What about us REAL gamers. We are the real deal, not some kid with a WII.... I think I might have to retake Japanese, but this time, try to learn the written language too. ( thats some hard crap) I think it would take forever, but id never have to worry about this kinda crap afterwords. I hate having to refer to a script, every second. I remember FFXII. My buddy had the (J) version before it came out, and we were always looking at the screen, Faq, Screen, faq, screen, faq and it would turn out to be a high potion...... meh.
  21. It would be my first attempt at something like this. But I was a hardware guy, and a handyman, so I understand customization, and practicality quite well. I figure, I'd do some mock ups with modeling clay, after I gut the two, and see what can be put where. Imagine a wide PS2 controller, that is heavy. I figure, Ill need to get fiberglass materials for my preliminaries. But I wonder, where all the gizmos and du-dads are going to be placed. I think that there would be a few configurations, that would be alright, but Id go for the most comfortable... thats the practical side. But something tells me, it's going to be ugly.... But such is the price, for good control. Yea, when you hold a PSP, your hands are at an improper angle, so your thumbs are hitting the D pad all weird, so pulling off concise movements, is impossable 100% of the time. I'm always screwing up it Tekken.
  22. Never heard of it..... AND WHAT? Not an RPG guy I see.... Don't like 'm? What kinda guy are you? Fighter? Wasn't there a Street Fighter RPG? ive never got into rpgs,im more into arcade style games on any system, dont really have the patience for them its a shame really coz i know there is some good games out there. fighters, shmups, fps thats my thing.what about you belthasar? EVERYTHING, accept sports games. FPS, Shooters, RPG, RTS, Fighters, Action/Adventure, Platformers are ok, but there getting old. Basically, I like anything, that is good. (opinion) but have a higher affinity, for FPS & RPG. Sports....... so boring. But from time to time, I'll play Madden. Front Mission and AC are probably my all time favorites because of a few things. Heavy customization being the main draw. Sadly there have been more AC games released in North America then Front Mission (Only 1st, 3 and 4 came out, and no plans to remake 2 and port 5 sadly). Also, another mention is that AC2 is by far the best AC game. Ever. I did like the effort they put into 4, but so far, none of the games thus far have proven to be better then 2. I also wish they'd put more effort into making it with a much more better and kick ass storyline, similar to Front Mission. Project Phantasma is another good AC game also, it came before 2 and still good. I hear they are still thinking about porting Front Mission 5. But actually, who can take anyone seriously, Game spot has this as its screen shots for it Front Mission 5??? Bullshit!!! And countless sites are using these 3 pics, and says courtesy of gamespot. Thats a flocking DS game. I looked and looked and looked, and only came across 1 in game pic. Forgot where it was, but the official Square/Enix site in japan, only has CG trailers, and no in game pix. Look them up though, and check out there downloads, there is 3 PDF's where you can make a front mission mech. Cut those bad boys out, and piece them together, I think I may get on it. Anyway, they better release it here in the states, or Im going to have to either learn Jasanese written Language,( yea right) of continually read a translated script. About Armored Core, yea, I like almost anything they put out. But the game cheats, and there is no ultra chip anymore, to attain the same abilities as the computer, example, using shoulder mounted weapons while walking/flying. And yea, What the hell... they're story line absolutely sucks, always has. They have the right stuff, to make a great storyline, but never deliver, not even close. They need to hire someone out of the loop, and get some interesting and compelling storyline going, not this constant rehash. I mean ca-mon, FrontMission has a story.... it cant be that hard....... But yea, customizable mechs, thats where it's at!!!
  23. what sort of rendition did you have in mind? Well, my main problem with PSP, is the D pad. Sure its sony, but something is off. For instance, when I play Tekken, I have a rough time trying to pull off certain moves. I say I fail 10% of the time, where as with the PS2 controller, I can do anything on command, 100% well, I once saw a PS2 portable, where the guy looked like he Molded the case, himself. But I dont know how, as it looked like actual PS2 controller pieces, streamlined with the case, no ceams. Anyway, when I saw that, I got to thinking. I started to inspect the size of the PSP, because I wondered, if you caould kinda do what that guy did, but put a PSP, inside a PS2 controller. If I cut open a controller, and stripped a PSP, and alot of elbow grease. I think I can find a happy medium. Problem is, I forsee alot of design possibility, and trial and error. I'm certain though, that it can be done. A PSP, with no control issues, that would be great.
