  1. What exactly have you tried and what was the result? You aren't giving me much to go with, you know.
  2. What I/O Interface are you currently using? It's quite obvious that ASAPI won't work unless you install the manager first.
  3. The PS2 version is what the DC version should have been.
  4. But yours will have DVD-ROM logos on it as well. I'm assuming his only has DVD-RAM- old RAM drives can't read normal DVDs. 'Tis is true.
  5. TweakGuides is a very useful site when you need to squeeze the much-needed extra FPS from those pesky shooters.
  6. Searching the board is a good start. Reading the stickies is even better. :/
  7. People, need I remind you that this is an emulation board? No matter how morally questionable, most people download their games straight off the Internet. This is a reminder to all of us to get off our high horses and come to terms with reality. I'll step in as soon as someone crosses the line and starts mentioning romsites by name, but I couldn't care less if the majority of the members on this board claim in unison that they download ROMs and CD images from the 'net. There's nothing wrong in being an advocate of the "downloading/talking about downloading games is evil" way of thinking, but please stop chastising others just because they go against that way of thinking.
  8. ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and OggDS is all you'll ever need for video playback. CoreAVC decoder too, if you don't want to use ffdshow's built-in AVC/H.264 decoder.
  9. My LG drive supports DVD-RAM, plus CD and DVD formats.
  10. We have no standardized tests, wheeee! Ok ok, PISA is an exception, but even that is for those who really want to take it.
  11. How could I have missed Lufias on both the SNES and GBA? There is also a Lunar game on the GBA, although not nearly as good as the Sega CD originals or the PSX remakes. Yeah, Super Mario RPG is one of those games you have to play. So yeah: For GBA: Lufia: Ruins of Lore Shining Force: Resurection of the Dark Dragon Lunar Legend and Lufia & The Fortress of Doom + Lufia II: The rise of the Sinistrals on the SNES. Breath of Fire 1/2
  12. I hadn't heard of this game prior to getting into emulation. It's surprising that a game this "bloody" got past Nintendo's censors.
  13. SNES Terranigma Earthbound Treasure Hunter G Dark Law: The Meaning of Death Illusion of Gaia Bahamut Lagoon Dual Orb II FEDA: The Emblem of Justice Jutei Senki Treasure of the Rudras (Rudora no Hihou) Secret of Mana Seiken Densetsu 3 Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy IV-VI Soul Blazer Secret of Evermore Star Ocean Tales of Phantasia Romancing Saga 3 The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past GBA: Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls Golden Sun Golden Sun: The Lost Age The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (not really an RPG though, just like all the other Zeldas) Riviera: The Primised Land Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 1/2 Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones Sword of Mana
  14. Menus are almost always without exception a lot faster than actual gameplay simply because menus rarely have complex 3D objects or scenes in them.
  15. N64 games take between 8MB (16Mbits) and 64MB (512Mbits) of space. I don't even know if any phone is powerful enough to run N64 games.
  16. uTorrent, latest version, for the reason that Wiz mentioned. Plus, it's not my style to be overly paranoid of the program just because Bittorrent, Inc. bought it.
  17. Final Fantasy Metal Gear [solid] Doom
  18. A thumbnail would be nice. There are still people who use 56k on this board.
  19. Ups! jaja... but Chankast also works under Vista,,,, but there was a problem with sound as I said before. Anyway... I'm so glad! ... Now I need to learn how to make work the joypad. I saw a thread about it around here.. So I will. Just use nullDC 1.0.0 Beta 1.6, as it already supports gamepads without having to resort to external programs.
  20. And still does, as far as "last-gen" consoles are concerned anyway.
