  1. Okami makes me go Oh Yeah, every time I fire it up. Even after finishing it once already.
  2. Yeah, no kidding. HL2: Episode 1 and Portal. Portal is so cute
  3. I other news, I LIKE Street Fighter 2 EX. There, I said it.
  4. My mother has never liked me playing video games, which is why I haven't owned a single gaming console apart from the original Gameboy until I bought the PSX in 1998 with my own money. So I sorta spent my yyouth playing video games at my friend's house. She still complains every now and then when I spent hours playing something, but she has also said on a few occasions that playing games has helped me in various ways, including learning english fast and easy, learning to like many different styles of music and improving my motor and reaction skills.
  5. Welcome. Nice to see some new blood.
  6. We will a forum overhaul and restructuring sometime in the future. When that is, I don't know. Until then, this request is going nowhere.
  7. I suppose he thinks that the only way to plug a PC gamepad to the PS2 is to put something inbetween, i.e. his laptop. who knows.
  8. I'll play on Friday or on the weekend once I get my hands on the Box.
  9. No, I don't think you can do that (if I understood you correctly, that is).
  10. For the few times I was able to play it, to me Ecco was really strange because I didn't really know what I was supposed to do. So I just swam around aimlessly.
  11. When my friend got a SNES + Killer Instinct and Donkey Kong Country. We played those two games to death and were extatic once we managed to beat DKC. (We took turns between stages). P.S. Please write in a more coherent manner.
  12. Click the apropriate button at the top of the reply box or do it manually by using IMG and URL tags.
  13. Do I have remind you people again to stop cluttering the boards with needless FAS results? Once is enough, show some moderation. Keep the rest of it in the appropriate forum. Why do you think we made you a playpen for? Keep the toys in the pen, dammit.
  14. In contrast to to Mr. G, I can invest dozens of hours in a good JRPG (and my PS2 game catalog consists mostly of JRPGs), yet I'm having trouble getting into any western RPG (Diablo being the sole exception). I need to get my hands on Baldur's Gate II and see myself what the fuzz is about.
  15. wait... hold the phone. How could you NOT get into Tetris?! I mean it's fukcing Tetris! The granddaddy of all puzzle games! What the hell man? Heh. I was about to ask the same question. I suppose Columns involves more thinking because not only you have to align colors, not blocks so much. Like Tetris, Columns has about a gazillion variations and ports. Well, one can argue that Columns itself a variation Tetris, which is true.
  16. So true. ------ Ys: The Oath in Felghana. Great game, but the boss fights cause me headaches.
  17. Gunstar Heroes is THE game for the Genesis/MD along with Sonics.
  18. I was, and still am a Tomb raider fan. However, I suck tremendously at the old TR games, so I've never finished any of those. The bad reviews for Angel of Darkness and the few oddball TR games before it distance me from the series. I've started playing again now that Legend and Anniversary are out. To stay on topic, I never got into Pokémon or Super Smash Bros. Not to impy that those are bad games, I just never understood the hype (or then I didn't have enough friends to play SSB with) I've never gotten into any sports games made by EA. I seldom play a few matches with a friend of mine, but that's it. Granted, playing the games is much more fun than sitting at home spending several hours watching a match on TV.
  19. Yes, they might get the point, but then again, money is the greatest motivator these days.
  20. Uh, what? Make sense, use punctuation. It is advisable that you configure (or at least check) the buttons, digital and and the analog stick before playing. You don't have to use a gamepad or a joystick, since all emulators support keyboard input as well. The game tells you to move "stick" because IT IS A NINTENDO 64 GAME AND IT ASSUMES THAT YOU ARE PLAYING ON THE CONSOLE. Of course the game expects to to be playing on the actual console, with the N64 controller in hand, which most likely, you don't have. So use whatever keys that are assigned to the N64 analog stick. It would probably help if you'd specify what video hardware your computer has.
  21. That most likely implies that you have an integrated video video, most likely made by Intel. If this is the case, you should switch Project64's active graphics plugin to Jabo's Direct3D6 instead of the default D3D8 one. It's is the only plugin that will work at least somewhat passable on integrated chips and very old video cards, but you'll also see a lot more missing features, and possibly graphics as well. If you don't know what kind of a video chip the computer really has, run dxdiag again and check the Display tab.
  22. What is your video card? Make sure that you have a good rom.
