  1. Right-click on Desktop --> Properties --> last tab (whatever that may be, Settings?)
  2. Well, Soldier of Fortune 2 is known to be a buggy mess of unbelievable proportions... you might want to stick with the first one.
  3. Great review GC. Like BlackKnight, I wouldn't buy this product for a few reasons, still: a) I don't have the money for it, nor would I never blow that much money on and arcade stick thingamajig, and like mentioned above, the pressure sensitive buttons become a hindrance in fast-paced arcade games. They are OK for casual console gaming I'd imagine, but then again, I wouldn't find it very enjoyable using an arcade-style stick when playing say, MGS2.
  4. As much as I don't like reading about people getting murdered, this guy had it coming.
  5. You should know better than to ask where to get roms. Warned. If you got multiple roms belonging to the same game it means that you've downloaded a full GoodSNES set. that in turn means that you now have every single dump of every single SNES game, effectively making 80% of the rom files useless to you. You only need the ones with either [!] at the end (if the naming follows the Goodcodes "standard") or or simply the country code, (J), (U) or (E).
  6. Hm. Try changing your bit depth to 16 and try again.
  7. Any adventure game made by LucasArts or Sierra. Honorable mentions go to Grim Fandango, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, and Leisure Suit Larry
  8. It took me a second with Google and I came up with snesDS. Unbelievable, isn't it?
  9. 640x480, details on 4. jagginess galore, but still looks good. I'm afraid to up the resolution, because I think that the game will go "HURK, DEAD".
  10. Make sure that your video card drivers are up to date and that Direct3D is properly supported by your card. To check this, run dxdiag and run the Direct3D tests.
  11. Except that everything that Zophar has, has already been outdone and covered by SNESMusic.org.
  12. It's incredible how well the game runs even on my aging hardware. I can keep the detail levels on 4, and even then I get some major stuttering only in the very beginning of matches, and then it evens out. This coming from someone with a Radeon 9800 Pro and only 512 MB of RAM.
  13. Project64. You get the rom(s), you put them in the emulator folder, you start the emulator, you play.
  14. I suppose this is a joyous occasion. Congratulations and all that. Took you long enough.
  15. Since I'm mainly a SNES SPC fan, I use SNESMusic.org
  16. What is the image file's extension? Note: .CCD is not the image file itself, just the information file. EDIT: Or you can mount it with daemon Tools and then use the SCSI Passthrough GDROM plugin to make nullDC read from the virtual drive (if that works, I haven't tried it myself).
  17. We all know that K`is a hardcore Radiohead fan. Give the guy some slack, people.
  18. I expect to see this on store shelves post-haste. Need to have it.
  19. Or FRAPS, but the unregistered version has some annoying limitations.
  20. Surprise surprise, I don't live near any one of you.
  21. Uh, color me stupid, but why do you need to use XPadder to play MAME games? MAME does support plethora of input devices after all.
