  1. You should only use 3DAnalyze if your graphics hardware is hopelessly subpar (like anything integrated from Intel). This is not the case with you, since you have a 6600GT which is more than sufficient. It's really difficult to give any sound advice, since your hardware is up-to-date.
  2. No, Nebula doesn't have a preview screen. It can use skins, but that's about it. I can't really pick favorites. I don't like a few features of Kawks (like the difficult way of binding custom button sequences and the way you have to pause emulation before you can quit). Plus, Kawaks doesn't support the Universe BIOS properly. Nebula supports the Universe BIOS and makes the aforementioned buttons bindings easier to configure.
  3. No, there isn't. At least I've never found one. Besides, such a feature wouldn't be hidden; it would be in plain sight.
  4. You stopped posting regularly, that's what happened.
  5. Answer to the first problem: Your Dc_flash.bin file is corrupt. Replace it. Can't say much about your second problem, but IIRC, I haven't experienced such problems.
  6. We've had that like, for ages. Took you long enough K`.
  7. I've always liked Halo's single player campaign. I've played Halo 2 co-op at my friend's house, but that's about it.
  8. You don't need physical discs to play PSX games on an emulator, you know.
  9. I need to get my hands on this. Props for t his review, as it is pretty much on par with the others'. Sounds like a good game. Not excellent, but worth the time you invest in it. I also like it how GrimGrimoire is is not a traditional T-RPG, but more of an RTS.
  10. Well, you could just use Winamp and its DiskWriter plugin for such conversion. If you really want a standalone MP3 --> WAV converter, give River Past Wave@MP3 a spin (took me like 10 seconds to find with Google). Can't say anything about APE --> WAV converting. I know that River Past's audio converter software does that, but the package isn't free, unlike their MP3 converter tool.
  11. If you find that dealing with plugins goes beyond your expertize, you should try pSX instead. Easily as good as ePSXe and needs no plugin configuration. You'll be stuck with software rendering though, which is slower than hardware rendering with Direct3D or OpenGL plugins.
  12. "Game disc unsuitable for this system" usually means that you have set the wrong region for the emulated console. The region must match what the game expects. Next, "_drive_status_play error(). Fatal error" usually means that the game has CDDA audio tracks, and the emulator/console is unable to play these tracks when the game sends the signal to start CD playback. This is due to the external CD audio tracks having not been introduced in a .CUE file or the game image wasn't mounted via the .CUE file. What this means is that Daemon Tools only mounts the CD image and not the audio tracks that go with it.
  13. I eagerly await the GrimGrimoire Review, seeing as its release date is at the end of the month over here.
  14. Nothing is certain with DC emulators, I can tell you that much. It's not uncommon to see significant changes in performance between different games.
  15. Cats, school, watching movies That's about it at the moment.
  16. Ahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahhahahaha oh excuse me Ahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahahahaha NeoCream wasn't enough for you?
  17. Start the game, load the save the same way you would on the actual console.
  18. Put it in the memcards folder. Tell ePSXe to use that MCR file as a memory card in Slot 1/2 via Config --> Memory Card.
  19. Comparing PC game performance are emulation performance is like comparing apples and oranges. Do you use Windows XP or Vista?
  20. So use a virtual drive software like Daemon Tool's instead. Install the software and mount the CD image to it. It'll work as a normal CD/DVD-ROM drive. To answer your question: No, SSF doesn't directly loads ISOs and the rest of the Saturn emulators aren't up-to-par with SSF emulation-wise.
  21. Blood 2 would have been excellent had Monolith made a good engine instead of that incredibly buggy mess called the LithTech engine.
