  1. Your graphics hardware doesn't meet the requirements. It could also be a bad rom. So, what are your computer specs?
  2. It is, from the late 60's no less.
  3. Didn't we answer this question in another thread already?
  4. Have fun IQ, and remember to bash those n00bs.
  5. Ys is japanese. Falcom is japanese.
  6. Didn't you already make a post about this? Contrary to what you may believe, we do check other forums as well. Moved.
  7. My PC specs are more or less irrelevant since I have not played sonic Adventure 2 on either Chankast, Demul or nullDC. I don't claim to get constant 60fps in the games I do play on the emulators, but I don't get constant slowdown either. But if you must know, AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 512MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
  8. PC game performance and emulation performance aren't the same thing. Not by a long shot. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Still, Dreamcast emulator also need lots of work from the coders. Spped is not something the emulator authors have high on their priority lists and optimizing code has its limits and it usually requires a good amount talent.
  9. Reply in PM. Please keep the conversation in this thread if at all possible.
  10. 1. nullDC has no gamepad support. You have to use a keyboard --> joypad mapper like XPadder. Options --> Maple --> Port A --> Configure keys for Player 1. 2. Is the entire game slow or just the sound? Mess with the sound plugin settings.
  11. AFAIK, ultimately Garou has very little to do with the rest of the Fatal Fury series. Zone of the Enders + Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner. Great games, especially the second one. I don't know how popular Fatal Frame is, but I definitely recommend all three.
  12. Well, what happens if you simply mount the MDS file in Alcohol's Virtual Drive and boot of that instead from a CD? P.S. You should really use nullDC over Chankast.
  13. The simple fact that your computer isn't fast enough to maintain constant speed.
  14. It has literally been ages since the last update. Such a long time and all we get is some listbox tweak? Come on.
  15. I'm still here. Who didn't see this coming from a mile away?
  16. If you bother to look through the different sections over here at 1Emulation, you'll see that we have a MUGEN forum. Moved.
  17. Not really, just less compatible and compatibility improves with firmware updates. Removing the Emotion Engine from the PAL PS3 was already a desperate move from Sony to cut the price of the PS3, seeing as the retail price inflated when sold in Europe.
  18. I second Riviera: The Promised Land and add Yggdra Union: We'll Never Fight Alone. Sting! at their finest. Also Persona 1+2 and old-school Shin Megami Tensei games on the SNES. Atlus at their finest. One can't really go wrong with anything from Nippon Ichi or GUST for that matter.
  19. Not literal explosions. I was trying to illustrate the effect of a virus invading an old computer system. Class dismissed.
  20. They had viruses on those bad boys? Man, you really do learn something new every day... especially on the wild world of the intarnetz. To be honest, I still don't know if it was a virus, but that's the only conclusion I was able to draw back then. I booted up the thing, but the keyboards keys would no longer output the letter I pressed, Instead random gibberish came out. As you can imagine booting games became quite a chore. If I manged to type the proper boot commands, the game(s) wouldn't run, instead showing screen after screen of more weirdness. The Commodore worked fine the day before, and I had just bought a 5.25" floppy drive from a friend to accompany my aging tape drive. Played a few games, decided to boot another game, and then Boom.
