  1. I own a GameBoy, and old, cranky PS2. I have owned a Commodore 128 in the past, but it got infected by a virus. Who knew.
  2. Sonic heroes was probably the worst sonic game IVE ever played. Well maybe not the worst, but its up there. SA2 was the best 3D sonic IMO. I didn't say it was great. I just liked the speed and the soundtrack. The control scheme is pretty bad.
  3. There is never enough recommendations for Cave Story. That game is simply awesome. I still haven't been able to finish it. I keep dying at a boss fight. Ok, I'll give some recommendations: Esper Dream 2 (NES) Abuse (PC) Radia Senki (NES) Journey to Silius (NES)
  4. Sonic started to go south with the advent of Sonic Adventure. Granted, SA and its sequel are pretty good games, but they're nowhere near the 2D Sonics. If I had to pick a 3D Sonic that I like, it would be Sonic Heroes.
  5. Heh, Knuckles Chaotix was probably the best game 32X had to offer and even that wasn't saying much. Sonic CD on the other hand was great, and it was probably the best game Sega CD had.
  6. Yes, DMC is excellent. Trying to finish the first one on hard, not working, keep getting owned by The Griffon. DMC3-wise, Vergil is kinda difficult to play with, as most of his Yamato attacks leave you wide open when whiffed. Bosses are brutal even on Normal.
  7. Uh, What does The Sims have to do with anything? How much stuff you have on your HDD doesn't affect overall rendering speed in emulation.
  8. Did you click Save Options after you finished and also reset the game?
  9. No$Gba has only preliminary Wi-Fi support. No, you can't use it properly.
  10. Yeah, excellent borderline mindflock rendition of the best scene in My Neighbor Totoro.
  11. You call The Sims an action game? I want whatever the hell it is that you're smoking. There is no single "best" game. Do you always view everything in black and white? In any case, Okami is an excellent game. Counter-Strike couldn't be much boring than it already is. Or rather, the entire game has been saturated by immature idiots.
  12. Well, if you're computer isn't very fast, you can expect slow gameplay and misc. slowdowns during gameplay. As for Versus Mode, either you haven't enabled Player 2's controller in nullDC's options, or then Versus Mode isn't properly emulated.
  13. If you had bothered to read some of the topics made earlier, you would already know that you must change the savetype in No$Gba's settings to whatever the game is expecting.
  14. Brings back memories, doesn't it?
  15. Haze has already made changes, But will not be seen untill 0.117. The CHD(CD) loading has already been added to mame, Anything that is not on the real hardware will not be added to mame. Yes, I'm aware that CD loading has already been added to MAME (took me 22 minutes). Basically I'm just waiting for the graphical fixes, and it's pretty obvious that those will be implemented in 0.117.
  16. Some, as in you? Seriously, unless a lot of people flock to this thread asking for Sonic flash games and posts links to get these games, your "request" is standing on really short legs. And the arcade is closed for the time being.
  17. A brand-spanking new Mistwalker RPG for the X360. Has an ongoing anime series too.
  18. there it CAN'T be fixed? What? The developers will hopefully fix these issues in future versions of the emulator. Don't expect it to happen instantly, though.
  19. Ging: The Falling Star (Nagaboshi Gin). I used to watch this show constantly when I was a kid and beg my parents/other relatives to rent or buy the VHS tapes when they became available.
  20. Excellent as always. I hope these changes find their way into MAME soon.
  21. 5-6 Three of them are emulation sites, one is a torrent site, one is AnimeDB and one is a weird place.
  22. AFAIK, you can't fix it. Wait until the developers have fixed it.
  23. Good. Holler back and tell us if if you're desktop computer is up to the task.
  24. Well, now that you said that you have a laptop, it's fairly clear that you have an integrated graphics chip. Since laptops don't have enough room, they have to use integrated parts (read: permanently attached to the motherboard) so that everything will fit. This isn't a problem for desktop computers so they can use non-integrated solutions such as actual video cards. Because a full graphics hardware need to be fit in a tiny chip, integrated graphics chips are never as good as actual video cards. So they lack many of the features that video cards have. (in this case T&L) As for T&L, it's a graphics technique known as Transform & Lighting which is responsible for a number of special effects in games. Now, Dreamcast emulators need this very function from the graphics hardware in order to render Dreamcast graphics correctly. Since many integrated graphics chips (most notoriously Intel's chips) lack proper T&L support, you'll see messed up graphics. Like I said earlier, you can forget about trying to get the emulator to run properly on your laptop. Same goes for every other Dreamcast emulator. Get your self a decent desktop computer with a decent non-integrated graphics card. That's the only way you are going to get acceptable graphics from Dreamcast emulators. P.S. You can check what integrated chip you have by clicking Start --> Run, typing dxdiag and press Enter. The DirectX Diagnostics program should run. Then click on the Display tab and see what it says Under "Device:".
  25. hey thank you for that recommendation... its working now.. BUT.... the graphics sucks.... whats wrong?? the letters arent clear.. please.. help Either you have a very old graphics card or you have an integrated chip manufactured by Intel. (no support for hardware T&L). If the above is true you can forget about using any Dreamcast emulator until get a better video card. If I'm wrong, you need to update your video card drivers
