Well, she is a hardcore J-RPG fan and I get most of my manga from her at reduced prices. Which is nice. What's more, most of our conversations usually have to do with games, anime or manga, and which later turn into arguments. Go figure.

It could be your graphics card drivers. it could be general incompatibilities between your system and the emulators, who knows. The point is that Sonic Adventure (either the first or its sequel; the sequel moreso) has problems across all DC emulators. For some, it might run fairly well. For others, like you, there are all kinds of problems.

I hate to sound like a cold-hearted bastard, but if you are new to emulation, PSX emulators aren't the best starting point. Also, emulator authors include manuals and Readme files in emulators for a reason. Put some effort in learning and you'll find things much easier to understand in the end. It's great that people ask for help, but they need to do some work for themselves as well.
