Looks like I'll have to dig up those Monster World arcade games from my MAME archive again. Excellent games no doubt, and like you said, the naming scheme between the english and the japanese versions are sometimes rather unorthodox. Seems like a very solid compilation and a good nostalgia injection for retro fans. Too bad that one is forced to import to get their hands on this.

Does it work perfectly in Windows Control Panel and/or in other games or applications? Have you calibrated the sticks (if such an option exists)?

Oh yeah baby. I like these news. PC version for me, if my aging hardware can handle it. That or then the PS3 version sometime in the future.

1. Put the zipped romset (mvscu.zip) in Kawaks' roms/cps2 folder. 2. Stat kawaks, go to the Load Game window, make sure that "Show CPS2 games" box is checked. 3. Click on "Rescan all". 4. ??? 5. Profit. Note that Kawaks does not support the parent Euro version of the set (mvsc.zip). You need this set + the mvscu.zip clone romset to get the game working. MAME on the other hand supports all sets.
