  1. Oh yeah. Great game. Post more recommendations. With pics.
  2. This might be an airheaded question, but what do you mean by "recognizing DVDs"? Would a firmware update help?
  3. I just bought ICO a while back and it's one hell of a game. The puzzles are excellent, although it's quite a chore to fend off multiple shadows that always want to drag Yorda through those damn portals. I should play it some more. Excellent review too, and it makes me want to play SotC even more, despite its shortcomings (at least according to the reviewer).
  4. Well, does it work with the original Chankast? Don't expect it to work with ChankastEX.
  5. Welcome back. Let's see if you can find the uber-hidden porn section we set up.
  6. There's nothing like reading piles of hentai manga to learn a new language.
  7. About time Sony caved in. Still, Immersions "patent" on vibration technology is retarded. So yeah, PS3 might finally get vibrating controllers. Something is just missing if there's no vibration.
  8. This board is not a hint line. Do it like everyone else does and use search engines. That's all there is to it.
  9. Have you read the pinned FAQ and checked the links it contains? I suggest you do that first if you haven't.
  10. Don't jump threads begging for help. People will respond to your own thread if they can help.
  11. Apparently yes. I can't make up my mind whether it's a board "feature" or a bug. Personally, I "study" japanese simply because languages interest me.
  12. This happens if you are using the original NeoRAGEx. You need to use the EGCG version of NeoRAGEx for the game to work properly. You can grab EGCG NeoRAGEx from my site. Or you could just use MAME or Kawaks and not bother with the SvC PLUS romset and use the proper SvC romset. That won't work in NRX though. Anyway, that's up to you.
  13. Shoma, if you want to rant about something do it properly. Yes, this thread doesn't excite people to start a conversation. Plus, your reasoning is flawed, because well, there isn't any.
  14. A lot of reviews about final Fantasy XII say that it's slow to get rolling, but gets picks up the pace after a while. So, the game suffers from pacing issues in general, and the game is weak during the first hours. Yes, I invested 18+ hours in to the game, but most of that time was wasted on exploring and trying to get the hang of the Gambit System and the battle system itself. I was about to meet the first Esper, but the area(s) between that particular dungeon and my starting point featured some really difficult monsters. Sure, I could have just ran from them, but I figured it would serve me better if I'd just start over and really put some though into my strategies Not to mention that many monsters start chasing you if you get too close and very easy and very hard monsters prowl the same areas. Overall, I'm very pleased with FFXII, it just takes a lot of work to get accustomed to all the new things it has to offer. I sank ~$67 into my copy.
  15. Thank you for not reading the board rules. Links removed, topic closed. EDIT: Seriously, read the board rules.
  16. "Can't read TOC from Drive X:" usually means that you are using the ASPI CD-ROM Interface plugin under Windows 2000/XP, which won't work since neither OSes support ASPI unless you install drivers for it. In other words, use the xxx CD-ROM Interface plugin if at all possible. Daemon Tools 3.29 supposedly handles reading the "disc" a bit differently than newer versions, so most people use that when they start to get that Audio CD screen after mounting an image and trying to run it. Or then the image really isn't selfboot.
  17. Get the Megaupload 3 extension for Firefox, doesn't work with certain links but it works well enough for the rest. The whole 50 download slots per country policy that Megaupload is currently using is incredibly unfair; there's never an open download slot when you'd need one.
  18. Final Fantasy XII. Started from the beginning after 18+ hours of game time and after miraculously surviving the slaughter known as the battle against Judge Ghis. At level 12 it's madness I tell you.
  19. Happy Birthday Solidus. Enjoy yourself, you hear?
  20. Wonderful news. Nestopia is one of the best NES emulators out there.
  21. Yeah, ElSemi made an announcement not long ago that he's still working on Nebula getting the last sets working and fixing bugs. No ETA though.
  22. Such excellent games in that arcade, I'll give it that much.
  23. Yup, Top-Hunter is a bit like a poor man's Metal Slug, but that doesn't make it any less fun. More MAME-only games plz, although I guess Neo-Geo contributions are fine too. MAME just has more obscure gems that run on a plethora of hardware.
