  1. Yes, I'm digging up the thread for a change. What's the first episode considered to be a filler and which episode is no longer a filler? I'm just asking out of interest.
  2. Strider Hiryu 2 runs on Capcom ZN-2 hardware, so yes, you need the ZN-2 BIOS.
  3. I plan on seeing this movie as well. Many of my "friends" recommend it.
  4. Heh, exactly what I was thinking. Eh, what works (or ironically, used to work) for him.
  5. I'll take all of them. Should I be forced to pick a favorite, it would be FF4 or FF9.
  6. The poll fails at not giving options for all the other PSX FF games + two final options called "All of them" and " "None of them".
  7. Wrong. Don't assume that everything that starts with HD has to do with graphics. Your post also offers zero new and useful information to this topic. DragonKeeper: Both HDLoader and HD advance allow the user to play PS2 games which have been installed (copied) onto the PS2 hard drive. No modchip required as far as I know. As for the region thing, I can't say. Have you checked the HDAdvance.com for additional info?
  8. You can solve it by getting a good romset that has no missing files.
  9. Nah, Bleach's "fillers" are lightyears away from the incoherence and stupidity of Naruto's fillers.
  10. I was supposed to over 4 years ago (I'm 23 now, mind you), but because of impeding health issues, they put me in the reserves with a "C" classification. Meaning that I won't have to do any military service in any form nor participate in any military drilling excercises, unless a war breaks out. People who get a D classification don't have to do any military service in any form, even if a war breaks out. In other words, they are unfit for service.
  11. Yes, the arc ended. The bounto arc wasn't bad at all, IMO.
  12. It's a shame that Finland still has mandatory military service (conscription even), or then you'll either go to jail or do some (in)voluntary community work instead. Looks like the author of the webcomic has to face the music now.
  13. Glad it worked, but you should always use regular in-games saves over savestates, since savestates can get corrupted rather easily (regardless of how well savestates support is incorporated in the emulator). But yeah, I have only one VP save, on a single memory card file.
  14. You should enable Texture Window emulation via pixel shares if your card can handle it. Enable odd/even bit hack in the game fixes, if just for kicks. Apart from those (and those probably aren't even required) my setting are more or less identical.
  15. ha, I was just playing Swordcraft story 2 a few days ago. Both are are excellent RPGs, and they're funny too, especially the sequel.
  16. Battery saves yes, save states no. Beta 1.2 and up btw.
  17. I'll just stick to whatever default values Windows gives me, not that I'm saying that you shouldn't increase it if you have the space for it. You found out about the paging file (well, swap file actually) just recently? Ok.
  18. When a new version is released, you'll see the news on many major emulation sites, including this one. Such news don't go under the radar.
  19. It shouldn't be required to start converting CD image files between different formats. Most of the time you are doing yourself disservice, although there have been reports that some have managed to make games working by changing the format. Then again, I haven't had problem booting the games I have, and they are in a variety of formats. If you are getting an ioControl error, the only thing sane thing you can do is to use Daemon Tools 2.39, if at all possible. If Chankast keeps asking to input date/time over and over again, your Dc_flash.bin file is corrupt. You need to replace it.
  20. Yeah, I agree with IJTF, thanks to good personal experience from these so called "optimizers"
  21. Never had such a problem in Firefox. Clear your browser cache and make sure that firefox doesn't store typed passwords (for testing purposes). Also make sure that CapsLock isn't enabled, unless your password is all in caps, of course.
  22. Thats the one im using, You saw all the plugins im using on the other thread. Hm. Then all I can say is that the god of emulators works in mysterious ways, since I see no reason why it should give you ASPI errors since you're not even using anything ASPI-related.
  23. Like I said earlier, do not use ePSXe's ASPI CD-ROM plugin. Use ePSXe's CDR WinNT/W2K Core instead.
