  1. 1. The graphics plugin is way old, download a newer one from Pete's site. 2. You should really use Pete's OpenGL2 plugin, if your video card can handle it. 3. Use Eternal SPU for sound. ePSXe's SPU is crap compared to it. Remember to enable specific audio stuff for SQquaresoft games before running the game.
  2. Delete all the files from the Plugins folder that have 'tsg' in the title. The error message pops up because you have a very MSCDEX-based plugin in there.
  3. ePSXe never automatically changes plugins, unless you use some kind of a frontend. I don't know what you could have possibly changed if the game was working fine before. What settings do you have enabled in Pete's OGL2? What is a SaPu plugin?
  4. I get a large amount of hits in Google with "selfboot tutorial", you know. :/
  5. One does not simply create a new version in mere months when people have been complaining about sound and speed. Give it time. No one knows, and the developers aren't talking.
  6. Choose another fullscreen resolution.
  7. Normal DVD-ROM drives can't read Dreamcast's GD-ROM discs. As for why the mounted image shows up as an audio CD, there can be a number of reasons. 1. The game is not selfboot. You need to either hack it to make it selfboot or use a bootdisc (not a guaranteed success). 2. Use daemon Tools 3.29 if possible. It has different CD emulation code, so people have gotten DC games to work with that version. 3. The CD image is borked.
  8. Is the "CD" an original or a copy? If it's the original, you can quit trying.
  9. Haha. Good show, although I ended up deleting it because of space issues. Time flies fast when you have something to do, like creating/playing a Galge game or something, amirite?
  10. True. Legend is bliss with a good gamepad.
  11. Materia is activated as soon as you attach it to a slot. On that note, it's been quite a while since I last played FF7, so I might have been giving you some false information. HP/MP Absorb work when attacking with the linked Materia. IIRC, if you want to absorb spell damage, you need to put Added Effect + spell materia in your armor. So yeah, my apologies. Needed to do some digging myself as well. blooddrinkerS: Read the board rules. First warning.
  12. Make sure you click 'Update Avatar' choosing the avatar.
  13. While I knew Raine wasn't dead, it has started to fall into obscurity, sort of. Most people use MAME nowadays anyway.
  14. Of course the SCUMMVM site doesn't have them because it's still copyrighted to LucasArts and sold in their store no less. Get a better version of the game that doesn't have some cutscenes removed, or better yet, buy it. *gasp*
  15. If you link Add Effect + Spell together to your weapon, you add the effect of that spell to your normal attacks. Works with most if all all magic materia. Note that the slots need to be linked for this to work. If you link All + a spell together, using that spell with hit all enemies. If you link Absorb + a spell to your armor you will absorb a part or all of the damage when hit with that particular spell (depending on the level of the magic materia, of course). As a nice bonus, if you link Absorb + Exit, you can nullify non-elemental magic (like Ultima Weapon's best attack). Blue materia like All and Absorb need to be put in linked slots to be effective.
  16. You don't have to go out your way to manually censor "ass", you know.
  17. That means I have to find the bios with the files 000-lo.lo ....etc? instead of NG-LO.ROM? I'm sure this is going to take a while. Yes.
  18. You need MAME's "authentic" Neo-Geo BIOS files. Renaming the original Neo-Geo BIOS files won't work.
  19. aww come on! wtf is dis? english classess? since wen does gramma mater on a forum? Since WE said so. If you're not going to put any effort in proper spelling, we're not going to put any effort in helping you nor listening to anything you have to say. If you can't deal with that, leave.
