  1. Yeah, 9800 Pro is definitely old, but I think it gets old gracefully. Still a good card. If I were to get those new cards (where the hell would I even get the money?) I'd probably have to upgrade my CPU and RAM as well.
  2. To have a life and have a relationship. Yes, I know, it's easy to say it now, but it will be hard to accomplish.
  3. Plus, netplay has been removed from the latest ZSNES release.
  4. It's now 3:30pm on January 1, 2007.
  5. I believe that Tank Force is the original arcade version of it. It's great for what it's worth.
  6. NESticle was "the best" (and I use the term very loosely) back in 1996-1997.
  7. Meaning that the higher the Ping, means slower response time, which means laggy gameplay which equals bad??? Yes. When a computer sends a ping, it sends a what called an ICMP Echo Request packet. As in, the source computer wants the destination to answer (Echo). Should the destination computer receive this Ping packet, it sends back in ICMP Echo Response packet (geeks sometimes call this the Pong packet/message). Two computers playing proverbial Ping Pong and answering when the other one has something to "say". In other words, Ping measures how much time it takes in milliseconds for your machine to send a single packet of data and get back something in return. The longer it takes, the slower the response will be and you will start noticing lags, hops and the like when stuff doesn't get sent back to you in a reasonable amount of time (data could have even been lost).
  8. Nestopia. No contest. I know some people are bound to disagree with me though.
  9. I just play a lot of NES games (Tank City included, but that was long ago), and happened to remember such a game back when I browsed through SpacEmul's NES section roughly four weeks ago . It took a little work though, since Samurai Edge didn't give much to go with. SNES doesn't even have too many tank games like that, so it had to be on the NES Like Weirdy said, had he mentioned the Eagle, things would have been a little different.
  10. I've noticed that many virus scanners are unable to disinfect trojans without destroying the infected file in the process. At least my BitDefender Professional has never been able to disinfect trojans, and those are what usually creep into my system.
  11. Crazy americans. Every single news channel I know over there has treated this execution and the airing of said footage like some kind of national past time.
  12. Battle City on the NES perhaps? http://spacemul.emu-france.com/screen2.php...35&lang=eng
  13. We don't have to kick you off, you can just stop posting and never come back if that's what you wish.
  14. I read about this on Fark (imagine that) this morning. I'm just wondering how much good this execution did.
  15. Excellent find GameCop. I love the audience's reactions, because Nintendo obviously didn't pay enough attention to the security "features" on its consoles.
  16. Your reboots because you gets constant BSODs. Why, I don't know, because there can be a number of reasons. Driver conflicts, hardware conflicts, bad RAM, etc.
  17. Haha, I read the URL as .../factasticfurriesofthe... No joke.
  18. Ouch. this was completely new to me (then again, I hardly keep track of what SNK/Ignition is doing these days). I really hope that they fix these issues beacuse they seem quite crippling as far as the play experience is concerned. "Arcade perfect" seems to be what the fans want, with bonus content.
  19. The game still runs extremely Fast That's why there's the little thing called "Frame Limiter" (either automatic or set by the user) options in all graphics plugins.
  20. Switch the CD-ROM plugin to the non-ASPI one. Windows 2000 and XP don't have ASPI support out of the box.
  21. I don't remember having these problems, but then again, I don't use ZinCGUI. Are you sure that Mr. Driller uses 6 buttons? I can understand that the hardware it runs on uses 6 buttons in general, but not that game. More like 2-3 at most.
  22. Yeah, for some reason, Intel's chips are also paricularly bad when rendering stuff via DirectX, no such problems with OpenGL. Demul is slower than Chankast, even in in DynaRec mode (which you should use anyways).
