  1. True. I have one of those older Half-Life collections called Half-Life Generations. I should get one of the newer ones, with games on DVD(s), instead of four CDs.
  2. Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth Saiyuki: Journey West
  3. IIRC, no. You got served. I could be wrong though.
  4. How many times has the browser done this and is there a pattern?
  5. If you have to analog sticks, the left one is X-Axis +/- (right/left) and Y-Axis +/- (down/up). The right analog stick is Z-Axis +/- (right/left) and Z-Rotation +/- (down/up).
  6. Just no. I just drink alcohol from time to time.
  7. If a particular torrent is low on peers (seeders, leechers or both), the speeds will be lower. The speed in BitTorrent is always directly comparable to the number of people you connected to, their outbound connection (either full-rate or customized from their torrent client) speed and general status of their own connection. Also, taking into account what I said above, you won't get good speeds right away; it always takes a little while before you connect to more people and vice versa. Tracker administrators can also impose several rules onto the tracker software that limit the amount of connections and overall speed. If the tracker is improperly configured, then it will affects the peer performance as well. People connecting who don't have access to the software/hardware side of the tracker can do very little and don't generally know if the tracker is improperly set up (that is, unless connection to the tracker fails completely and thus the tracker is useless).
  8. Then there's something wrong with your settings, your connection, or the tracker.
  9. I just read about this a few minutes ago on CNN's website. RIP Godfather of Soul. No more Pori Jazz appearances for you.
  10. Wow, Shareaza is still going strong I see.
  11. A few books Two pajamas Some deodorant and some shower gel :/ I really need to go shopping afer Christmas, but I have a grand to total of €7.64 on me. :/ :/

  13. Using daemon Tools 3.29 seems to prevent ioControl errors as it does the CD/DVD emulation differently than in newer versions. Other than this, I can't really give you more advice on the matter. You could try ChankastEX, which may or may not help. Google or search EmuTalk for it. Using Daemon Tools 3.29 seems to prevent ioControl errors as it does the CD/DVD emulation differently than in newer versions. However, if you get a blue screen, the SCSI driver has most likely failed. The DT homepage and forums should be able to help you fix this issue. 14. Nice one K`. Behave the following days, you hear?
  15. If you have a desktop computer with enough room in the case and a spare AGP (or PCI-E) port, you can jot in a new graphics card and then disable the integrated GMA chip from the system BIOS. However, if the BIOS has no option to disable the integrated chip, then you don't have much choice but to replace your motherboard.
  16. It may be a bit too early for some and dead on for others. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone everywhere, regardless of what you celebrate (whether that be Christmas, Kwanza, Hanukkah or something). This announcement comes from the land of polar bears and Father Christmases, and no, I was not paid to make this announcement. Now for the important part: Here be my [early] presents for 1Emulation.Com, members and visitors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzXJdIgAQs8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc8HU-isRUw So have a good one, and lots of love.
  17. Hm. I guess it works better for some random people. Still, running native DOS applications in Windows XP is not generally a good idea, unless you have an emulator inbetween (like DOSBox).
  18. :/ That's pretty much what I expected. DOS on Windows XP is not a very good choice, nor will it even run properly.
  19. Resolutions in ZSNES are categorized into S/W, S/F, R/W, R/F, DS/W, DS/F, DR/W and DR/F. S (stretch) modes stretch the SNES image to fit the display area D modes allow filters such as HQxx and 2XSai, for example R (ratio) modes are the opposite of S and keep the original SNES aspect ration of 8:7 F (fullscreen) modes are fullscreen modes, naturally. W (window) modes are windowed modes, naturally. If you want to configure the controls for player one, go to Config --> Input. Tab #1 (#2 is for player 2, etc.) is selected by default and there are only two options: None or Keyboard/Gamepad. Select Keyboard/Gamepad and press Set, so that Current: reads "Keyboard/gamepad". Press Set Keys and follow the onscreen prompts. Figuring it out isn't really that difficult, you know.
  20. Make sure that you do a clean install; i.e. no previous config files and whatnot. Plus, DS modes stretch the image to fill the screen. If this doesn't happen to you, then there are problems with your video card drivers. Make sure that you plug in your gamepad before you start ZSNES and set the keys properly. Also, 1.51 will be out fairly soon, to take care of some of the bugs that were discovered after the 1.50 release.
  21. You can't compare PC games and emulated games; it's like comparing apples and oranges. Emulating the graphics on a 3D hardware often requires several advanced techniques in order to emulate the graphics at least in some degree of accuracy. While the DC graphics may not seem like they have that many tricks in them, that doesn't mean that there aren't any "tricks" in the Dreamcast GPU. The graphics chips in these consoles (doesn't really matter which 3D console) are designed for that particular console in mind, and sport features that cannot be emulated with PC graphics cards without extra work. Integrated graphics chip usually have only the barest of necessary features, and the fact that the chips share system RAM doesn't exactly make the thing any better. Developers don't often write emulator with just particular video cards in mind. How they emulate the graphics is what counts. In this case, the Intel chips can't handle the way the emulator does its rendering. More specifically, Chankast uses a technique called hardware Transform & Lighting which is used extensively by the Dreamcast and is supported by most graphics cards. However, Intel chose not to support hardware T&L. IIRC, no GMA chip supports hardware T&L.
