  1. My "letter" was more along the lines of not having Episode 1 yet and when I do have it, I hope I have less headaches than the time when I tried getting HL2 working properly.
  2. Dear Steam, I will rip you a new one if I can't get my long-awaited Episode 1 fix. lol @ typo
  3. Pete's OpenGL2 plugin Eternal SPU 1.50 Beta (make sure you enable "SPU IRQ - wait CPU action" and "SPU IRQ - Force interruption flag7) ePSXe's (or any other emulator's) CD-ROM plugin should do just fine
  4. Normal from what I've seen. I could be wrong though. Ignition is going to release Samurai Shodown VI (Tenka?) in PAL regions sometime in the future as well, or so I've read/heard.
  5. Yes, Ignition released Samurai Shodown V in PAL regions some time ago. I don't know where you got the 'Samurai Shodown 5', as it goes with its appropriate roman numeral over here.
  6. All Christmas carols make me want to poke my ears with a sharp stick sooner or later.
  7. Speedpig (like most, if not all Chankast "Tools") is worthless. Try ChankastEx (google or visit EmuTalk) and force VSync in video card properties and set your monitor to 60Hz.
  8. Painkiller, Serious Sam (not SS2 like it was already said), Unreal Tournament (2004 is my favorite, but whatever), Quake 3 Arena. Oh and Nerf Arena Blast.
  9. Yeah, it was a good place. Sadly, it's gone.
  10. Dragon Quest VIII is awesome to the max. Seriously. I've clocked over 50 hours of gameplay in it, and I think I'm only past halfway. The fact that Level 5 are the ones who developed it just adds to the awesomeness VIII makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Exploring the world is a good past time. The stories are not canon, and yes, the games are turn-based. I need to make a review of DQ8. I have a 4-week vacation, so I should be able to pull it off.
  11. Excellent choice. I'm not much of a fan of the BOX, but that controller is awesome.
  12. Ha, I decided to check Joystiq just a few minutes ago and found this article. The game's going to boost DS sales like crazy, that's for sure. Note to self: Finish Dragon Quest VIII before you die.
  13. It let's you manage Dreamcast's VMU units and the games saves stored within (or rather, the VMS files on your computer in this case). It let's you format VMUs/VMS's, import saves + other stuff. Although, VMS Browser fails at importing certain Dreamcast save types (mainly VMS/VMI pairs), so Google for VMU Explorer
  14. Oh wow, that looks like a really nice gamepad. Plus that's quite possibly the best product endorsement ever. Now to find it for cheap... Thanks Yes, it really is a great gamepad. It really shines in Psychonauts and other console ports, plus it's good for emulators too.
  15. Logitech Rumblepad 2. I have one, so it must be great.
  16. None of the videos in SpeedDemosArchive use savestates, just possible glitches in the game. Same can't be said about NESVideos though. SDA doesn't approve tool-assisted runs to my knowledge.
  17. www.speeddemosarchive.com I can't plug this site enough. It's a goldmine, similar to NESVideos.
  18. I agree, this is great stuff. the explanation dated December 5.
  19. All the needed plugins (and a few extras) are bundled with Chankast/Demul.
  20. If you have the console, I don't see why you should bother with the emulators. They're inferior, after all.
  21. Excellent news for Australian gamers, no doubt. For the time being anyway.
  22. If it's anything like SH2 or 3, then I'm in gaming heaven. I won't complain if it's akin to SH4, though.
  23. Congratulations. Nice work. P.S. My internets works again. Damn ISP.
