  1. Internet radio + friends. Or then I just BitTorrent some really weird stuff and decide if it's worth keeping or not.
  2. It's been way too long since the last Rocky film. I just hope that the movie doesn't end up like most Stallone's movies nowadays.
  3. At the very least, Winamp let's you fully customize what fields from the tags are shown in the playlist + either enable or disable the feature than changes _ and %20 to spaces.
  4. BSPlayer Pro only read ID3v1 tags, not ID3v2. To me BSPlayer is just a video player, nothing more. Just settle for Foobar or Winamp if you want ID3v2.
  5. All I can say is, with my AMD Athlon 64 3000+, 512 MB RAM and an ATI radeon 9800 Pro, the game runs really well. There might be ocacsional slowdown though. Also, MvC2 has crappy sound on Chankast, but not all the time. Also, you can overclock/underclock the Dreamcast CPU with +/-, but that doesn't always mean that the game will run better (it might, but you need to do some testing on your own).
  6. Like it should be I suggest you watch a speedrun of the NES port over at www.speeddemosarchive.com, and you'll cry blood.
  7. AFAIK, bricking means that your PSP ends in such a state that nothing can be done with it anymore -- in other words it's as useful as a brick/paperweight. I'm sure our resident PSP heads can help you with your other questions
  8. Pentium 4s and AMD Althlon 64s support SSE2.
  9. Yup, this game is pretty nifty. Now that we're talking about doujin games, Line Shooting Spirits cracks me up every single time. Also, need more shmups. AngerAze 2, Warning Forever, and AirRade-Air and too awesome, but I require more. PowerDolls 5X might do the trick, although it isn't a shmup. And something new form Shanghai Alice plz. zOMG thread hijack.
  10. Indeed. SSF has been able to run ST-V games since 5-7 versions ago.
  11. Zophar's Domain was one of the biggest and most well-known emulation sites back in the day. It was the place where most people got their emulation-related news and latest emulators. However, the site has been virtually in a complete standstill for nearly a year and periodical updates have been under a rock for perhaps two years. Many have asked to become part of the staff and raise the site back to its former glory, yet nothing has been done. November 9, 2006 marks the date when the site known as Zophar's Domain is no longer a part of the internets. On it's 10th anniversary no less. Whether it comes back remains to be seen. The forums are still active, at least to some degree. http://www.zophar.net So with this, I ask: Is this the final judgment passed onto ZD or does it miraculously raise from the ashes like a proverbial phoenix? I'm skeptical, but who knows. Farewell Zophar's Domain. At least for now.
  12. Yeah, Gears of War uses the Unreal Engine 3.0.
  13. Stop getting your hopes up with Chankast. Official development is dead and only thing that's still going on is hacking the emulator.
  14. The japanese version of Castlevania III came with a custom VRC6 sound chip which basically boosted the NES' sound capabilities to new heights. Probably due to the extra cost the chip put to the cartridges, it was omitted from the US cartridge completely. The japanese version is worth playing solely because it has the extra chip. Yes, the sound is a lot better; just compare the two.
  15. Any Castlevania, especially the japanese version of Castlevania III (Akumajou Densetsu). Castlevania 2 is a lot weaker because it threw most Castlevania-esque things out the window, but it's still sort of ok I guess. Esper Dream 2, Darkwing Duck, Excitebike, Kirby's Adventure, Double Dragon III, Bionic Commando, Gargoyle's Quest 2, Ice Climber, Power Blade, Mighty Final Fight (awesome), Parodius da!, Radia Senki, Battletoads (just for the sheer gruesome difficulty that makes you cry blood), Batman - Return of the Joker (this is actually a very good Batman game), Super C (sequel to Contra for those who don't know), Earthbound (this should be self-explanatory I shouldn't have to say anything).
  16. I'm seriously thinking about going to the theater just to see this movie. Borat is the man.
  17. Acually, there is a reason for this. If you've played a lot of Japanese sports games, you'd notice that the main character and the main team are almost always the same: Kunio Kun and Nekketsu. This is because all these games (including RCR) are developed by Technos Japan. True. Technos basically went with the same style for several years during the early 80's - early 90's; both in arcade and the NES and partially the SNES too.
  18. Anything resembling River City Ransom can't be all that bad.
  19. That game is awesome. It's like World Cup on skates.
